  1. Plenty of people are wondering about it as the information they gave out was next to none. They said it was a streaming service and there would be ' subscriber benefits' and thats about it. Its quite possible they will use the service to paywall new rules, but what he said was that could offer subscribers exclusive miniatures, which is more than likely knowing GW. Would take much for them to have rules for some exclusive miniature that power gamers then feel they 'must have'. What, exactly like new battletomes, new warscrolls or the newest GHB? These are often leaked days before release and yet people still buy them. Warscrolls often sell out on preoder day, yet they are all freely available online. There is no way they can make and film enough quality content to keep a streaming service running 24/7 for an entire year with out finding other rewards & services to throw in there that will encourage people to keep paying for it. Exclusive rules and models are already a big thing in games and this would be another opportunity for them to sell them under FOMO.
  2. People hate on 1st Ed so much, but with AoS Skirmish the entry barrier was incredible easy in comparison and pretty cheap, especially when coupled along with the left over WFB unit kits. 20 models gave you enough for a couple of warbands, it gave people the chance to jazz up their leader from the same kit and get them into converting models and if you did this for a few campaigns, by the third or fourth you had a good portion it not all your battlelines painted up and would be ready for bigger, fancier kits. Easy to build kits work almost as well for Skirmish, only you won't have as much of a bits box to convert leaders from. Getting rid of Skirmish as a staple part of the game was one of the worst things GW did. Sure, they probably made a mint on people grabbing warcry, but it is not the same as being able to build your army bit by bit. Plus you didn't need to learn a completely new game alongside it- you start with skirmish using AoS warscrolls, by the time your army is done you already know a good deal of how to play with them in the 'larger' full AoS games. Yes, there is also the Path to Glory etc that came within battletomes, but they have a far greater start up cost. And then of course they redid the rules for AoS2 in white dwarf, but these were incredible difficult to get once a couple of months had gone past, split across two issues was already pricey in comparison and ebay prices shot up with the issue being in demand. Not a good way to encourage new players. My group still play skirmish and now uni is done, I've already started putting together some new warbands and can't wait to get playing again. Yes, if you are a min/max or meta gamer skirmish was easy to break. But if you want a good narrative to get new players into the game, skirmish is a great tool.
  3. It has been at that. Loosing Josh Reynolds was a big blow to the AoS lore. Its also been spread about badly- a leaflet here, a white dwarf story, random ebook. Other than the Gotrek books, we've had no real connected fiction series. Even then, the Gotrek stuff has been spread about badly that again, unless you collect every single format, its a job to read it as a connected series now.
  4. This is EXACTLY what to do. There is little to no good reason to keep hopping editions, at least I've yet to hear one really good reason to swap editions every time GW says its time to do so. My group stuck with 1st Ed and its been one of the most liberating things for our hobby and in fact I've spent more money on AoS/WFB and new stuff that I ever did when I was attempting to keep up with editions for any of their games in the past. I can buy a new book because I like the lore/art/new range and not feel like I've been forced into buying my factions rule book for the sake of it. We stuck with the 1st GHB, though I did pick up the 2018 one for the aerial rules (thought we've still not managed to finish painting all the ships/dragons/owls/eagles we wanted to get painted for that game). I've brought models I'd never would have bother with previously and brought models for the simple fact of painting them for fun. I've brought almost the complete collection of 2nd Ed battletomes, simply because I liked the lore in them, but didn't feel like I had to rush out and buy the new ones that were made just months after release. We've not been affected by silly things: like the issue with the skaven terrain with the GHB rules that people saw as making it unplayable. I've a huge stack of unpainted models just for converting or painting on a rainy day, as I know I can fit them in to the campaign sometime and not worried that the rules are nerfed or faq badly. Treat GW as you might do any other model or game company and the hobby becomes a lot less stressful.
  5. I'm kind of indifferent to AoS 3rd Ed. We stuck with 1st Ed & skirmish, though I've brought most of the 2nd ed battletomes for the lore and in case we decided we would switch. I honestly think that all the things that made AoS a good fantasy sandbox was pushed aside for the FOMO sales tactics and the return to making profit off the tournament/meta updaters side. I never had any intention of playing a GW game past the editions we currently run in my group. I always knew that I'd call it quits on collecting books after 2nd ed (the only books I said I'd be remotely interested in getting would be if there was new grots or chaos dwarves). I'll buy starter sets /start collectings/battle forces from 3rd Ed for sure. I love the new stormcast models and eager to see what the new destruction army looks like (Rumours etc so far its already looking like my cup of tea) but I'll only ever use them for 1st Ed at this point, if they are gobliny goblins then I'll just run them as with the legacy Grot warscrolls. So 3rd has me excited for new models, but between repeated book & rules updates, the fiasco of chasing them for orders with no apologies (Slow to refund for their mistakes and waiting for me to chase them weeks after an issue), Cursed City drama, awful hype sales tactics, lack of transparency and generally bored with their social media postings being mistaken for community communication I'm not very excited for anything outside of buying models for using in other games/old edition. I personally don't think AoS has enough life left in it to be as emotionally attached to it as other games. Like, I'll continue to play it with my group for as long as we can keep coming up with new campaigns. but I think GW has shot themselves in the foot when it comes to AoS- Announcing the old world, moving away from what made AoS different in the first place, bad battletome releases, community complaints about rules (It sees to been forgotten now but the uproar about the skaven terrain piece when the GHB came out a while back- these sort of outbursts dont shine the game in a good light even if they do get forgotten quickly). I don't think AoS is as popular as people want to believe it is. Sure, there is a lot of talk- rumour thread, the cursed city thread etc are all buzzing. But the real hobby is painting, gaming etc. And you only have to take a quick gander in the hobby sections to see how little traffic there is. And Facebook groups are the exact same. I honestly don't see the need to have done a 3rd edition yet, I know we've too see the big reveal yet and huge changes might be on the way, but the video they put out so far made it seem like it was some small tweaks and nothing much is changing. I'm very excited to be so buzzed about the hobby right now (Uni and working from home suck the life out of it and I ended up just buying and not painting for the last 6 months or more) but other than using them as I would any other model/hobby supplier, GW/Warhammer as a complete package deal is no longer a thing for me. I'll keep buying models from them for as long as they a-look great to me and b-are usable in more than one game in case we do find we pack in playing AoS for good.
  6. The trick is to split the hobby and the company. Don't treat warhammer as a complete package, even though that is how GW want us to view it. Treat it like any other model/hobby company. Buy the models you like, use them in the rule set you like and with people that you like. Now, when ever I make this comment there is always someone that pulls up the most ridiculous reasons as to why they can't do this. And most of the things they come up with, have very simple fixes. But I don't argue with these points any more, as usually its people that are insistent on keeping the hobby as it is. I stepped back from the rules chase after first edition. Hasn't meant I've not brought stuff from 2nd ed- I have most of the battletomes and starter sets after all. But I have never been tied to the rules or felt pressured into buying it. Same with models. I can buy what ever models I like and if they are too much/I don't like them enough I've just saved some money or brought something else. There is of course those that ONLY play GW official grand tournaments, but then they are buying into that side of the hobby. Sadly those costs kind of go along with it. But for anyone else, the hobby can be a huge sandbox to play in and people limit themselves so much. I'm really excited about about AoS 3rd Ed, as it means a ton of new models which so far looks just my cup of tea. The books that come in the starter sets etc are either a bonus item to flick through or something to stick in the crate of other junk that props up my gaming board. If its badly priced then I have a huge stash of kits (Had a lot of spare money and been stuck at home 14 months now) and there are a ton of other kits out there too I've been meaning to try out and add to my games.
  7. Quite low model counts, so I'm assuming something like Skaven:Bombardier, Doomwheel, stormfiend Sylvaneth: Drycha Hamadreth, Dryads Beastmen: Bullgors, shamen- perhaps then they are going to push more Tzaangor kits. Odd model count of this one when most of their plastics are sets of 10s or 3s. Slaanesh: not sure about this one as if the Epitome on the front, that's already a fairly pricey kit for one of these sets and would leave 8 other models still. Anything like Painbringers would make it either incredibly expensive (as you'd still need another set of 3 models to add) Still. A lot of sets for armies I collect and that have potential for kits I've not gotten around to buying/buying more of yet. I'd love it as if the Painbringers as I've been meaning to get a box of them and don't have the Epitome yet. I want the paintbringers for parts to carry on with more of the Slaanesh-cast models I started converting a while back.
  8. Same. Not that I need any more, buy I was really hoping we would have seen one for the ogres. as I'd have liked to stock up on a few more conversion parts before I really get stuck into painting them. I'm glad I didn't invest emotionally as heavily into this campaign as I did with the Malign Portents, as it fizzled out about as much as I expected. No Skaven-Grot-dwarf BR book. No destruction BR sets. I do like the new models, but I think releasing so many big/expensive kits all in the same week is a bit much- but then I collect almost all armies so its my own fault. I did say ages back that the one thing that would make me consider buying into 3rd Ed books would be new Grots or Chaos Dwarfs. So looks like I'm going to have to stretch my 'No new books after 2nd Ed ends' rule lol
  9. Ah, that's must be where I saw it then! I don't use twitter, so must have seen it on instagram but must have missed it when I looked for it again!
  10. Except that GW can and have regularly oversold items, meaning you can do everything right and still miss out. In fact, they don't even bother to tell you when they've oversold, so you end up having to chase them and wait for a refund, meaning that those 'extras' people have picked up and offering out at cost, unless you've got money spare & know that yours isn't coming before they are all gone, you are doomed to be in the position to get one as if you had work/couldn't order it/website crash/whatever. 'Simples' it should be. GW make it anything but. There is no need to sell items like this when they are at the level there are at, other than them casing on the FOMO. As for it getting a MTO, I honestly doubt it. AoS is no where near as big as 40k, it might sell well but its not the heavy hitter 40k is. They can do a MTO on the 40k one as they know they can shift any left overs, even long after the hype has died down.
  11. This is what happens when you spend weeks (and in some cases months) hyping something up and the big reveal is....another reveal is coming. Its previews of previews of previews of trailers. I'm not a fan of gifts or surprises at all. I've just about accepted that I can deal with announcement > trailer > released item. Anything more than that, I might still be interested, but with ever single scrap and nugget I loose more interest than what it was able to generate to eventually we get to something like this: the excitement for item is gone and what's left is a feeling of 'if it was as good as they keep telling us it is, they wouldn't need to hype is so. It would sell on its own merits'. Its one of the many reasons I don't watch terrestrial television and I avoid things like tv spots promoting films on youtube/social media etc. I don't mind hanging out here in the rumour thread, as really this is just one big 'wishlist/guessing' thread anyway and once my interest starts to fall away, I'll drop out again for a few months as I've done before.
  12. Yeah this is my first thought when I saw that they are creating their own platform. I suspect they will move away from Twitch as well and the streaming service will become home of all digital content for gw. Personally, I'm not that that keen on a streaming service. I'd rather have paid to download the things I'm actually interested in seeing. I don't use streaming sites as it is, I've prime because I get it for next to nothing because of uni, but I've only used the streaming once to watch the boys. I think as it stands, there will be a rush on people paying for this, but once its all been binged, what are they going to put on in the shows place to encourage people to keep paying. I'm not going to pay for battle reports etc. I'm definitely wouldn't pay for the sort of preview/reviews of new stuff, like the stuff they throw up on twitch. I know others will, but they are going to have to produce a lot of content to keep those people happy. So much content, yet people get annoyed when a new video isn't made or the quality drops when creators try to push one or more videos EVER week. I think they are also going to be hoping that there is enough pull from the folks that read the books & play total war etc, that have time to watch shows but don't have the time/money/desire to paint models. People are also starting to cotton on to the the fact that huge data centres and constantly buying new devices are just as awful for these issues. Streaming, cloud services etc all going to start getting the same bad rep that plastic has gotten in the last few years. Even more so once more people actually come to realise that not only do they produce a huge amount of unseen waste, but those devices are chewing up as many resources to keep making them. Plastic minis don't make anywhere near the waste that buying a new phone to watch Netflix on does. Its only 200+ years old. 100+ plus for miniature games. Wargaming will long outlast GW. Its Warhammer which is not a sure thing.
  13. Matching up the good old New Zealand Oz prices, the court is going to be €110. I'm honestly sitting on the side of the fence now that says that cursed city was a scam and was there was never meant to be enough stock to allow people to easily buy it. It now costs more to buy the court and Radukar than it did to buy the game that also had skeletons, zombies, heroes, objective yokes, cardboard bits, books, dice. I'd been happy to buy them as I wanted the chamberlain but without the effort of having to panic buy the set when it came out. But that is insane. You can buy a whole army from other companies for that price.
  14. Tin foil hat time: I'm starting to think that this is what they want for AoS lore. Lore that is almost 'throwaway'. There is a lot of problems with 40k lore- a lot of writers meeting regularly to discuss and plan (taking time out of actually producing content), community outrage when ever something new is introduced, rewriting books that have already been released to milk more money from the series. Booklets of lore or campaign short stories help shift models and boxes, but once they are done with they can discard them without worrying that it will affect some later release or need them to work within some selective boundary. They don't remain beholden to some 5 page lore booklet that was released some number of years ago. My assumption is most people won't even remember what was in those booklets a year down the line. The White Dwarf issue is that it was probably printed 3 or more months ago, when Cursed City had intended to be a mainstay product. I'm assuming that most of the Cursed City lore of the villains will be republished in the new battletome they are in, but maybe not. Still not good advertising, but having them appear now will just stir people up again over the game for the next few days whilst GW go back to not saying anything concrete.
  15. I looked before and didn't see one, but just taken another look and there is the complaints portal, all the way down the bottom and not included in the contact us section where all the other sections are! https://www.games-workshop.com/en-IE/Contact-Us But thanks, yes I had only been using the main customer services one before.
  16. The news of this has really bummed me out. Its so sad that one of the best dark fantasy novels going for over 30 years will forever linger unfinished. He was pretty young still, which makes it all the more horrid. I built this Snotling Warlord back around 1999, he was massively banged up by the time I'd unearthed him from the box of goblins, so last year I hooked out a bunch of identical replacement parts and finally gave him the paint job he'd been waiting for. So here is my snotling - Gütz, The green swordsgrot! Wielding his sword 'KLANG', it's said he single handedly killed 100 stormcast (It's said..but it doesn't mean its true! He probably just annoyed them!) Found under a 'hanging mushroom', Gütz is destined for medium-great things! I fully intend to add some more characters from Berserk into his Band of the Squig unit at some point. Just waiting for Uni to finally finish and I can get back to painting.
  17. Except that it doesn't nothing. I've emailed every time that I've had an issue where I've brought something that they have then oversold and every time I've gotten back an 'oof. Sorry you are not happy with your order'. Not sorry we mucked up, not sorry this is happened repeatedly. Sorry that I was not happy. I think its left myself in a pretty horrid potion- can't complain to GW as they've gotten too large to really care. Stuff is still going to sell out, its just a lottery on who will be quick enough to get it. And for everyone that ditches their stuff, someone else is then able to snatch an order in their place. But then can't indulge as much in the hobby online- and having been stuck at home for 14 months does provide me with a lot of my hobby/social interactions right now. But you have some people kick up a stink if you anything that doesn't have the GW/AoS stamp of approval.
  18. So I posted this previously but not being able to pick the game has affected my future spending habits. I'd have liked it to put on a AoS Skirmish Campaign set in city, rather than just played the game as is. Not being able to pick the set up in a time frame that suits me mean that I will now: -Not be buying all/any new bosses/Xpacs -Not be buying the new zombie/skeletons (as they fit the set ones. I'm certainly never going to be convinced to buy skeletons at €45 for any other reason. €60 for 91 models elsewhere) -Buying other models from AoS to convert to new heroes/NPCs/Creatures too expand the campaign. -Probably would have brought the book alongside game -More models means more Paint If they do release everything from the game separately, I'll begrudgingly by the single set of monsters coming this Saturday for the one model I really wanted but if I do, I won't buy any of the other things I would have gotten, which would have added up to a lot more. But this isn't the first time this has happened either, there has been three or four incidents in the last 6 months that I've gone else where or stopped me buying the future due to GW doing GWish things. -Mucked up my order for LE Ravenor. Almost lost out on another LE item (Map) when they oversold it when dealing with the book. Then took an age to refund (talking weeks). So I didn't buy the 2nd or future LEs there. -Lost my Order of the Siege of Terror LE for 4 months with little to no contact or info. Spent ages chasing. I'm no longer buying any LE HH books and decided to sell off a good chunk of my collection (Solar War is selling for crazy €1000+. Money that won't go back in to the hobby) -Oversold an Item on my girlfriends Christmas order- huge order, big selection of items for members of our gaming group. This was made in November. Mostly odds n ends kits, no high popularity/rare items. February comes and we are still chasing it. One item was showing in stock on website but they are actually out of stock- one metal skaven model. If we request refund they will send out rest if items. Another week has passed with this back and forth. Next week- another email. The skaven is now BACK in stock but in now they've sold out of another three items. Another back and forth to get refunded. That money ended up going on a huge amount of Oathmark stuff instead. So I've had people tell me 'Oh but you are still buying from them'. Yes. Cheap kits- like start collecting and battle forces from discounted stores. Just the regular editions of the last two series of books I intend to finish off (SoT & The Primarchs) and then no more black library at all. I've already stopped buying any AoS books. A pittance compared to what I was buying prior to last year. All because they are making it to much of a chore to order from.
  19. Yeap same, but only for the one box. I'm assuming that it will be about that and then Radukar will be another €32.50ish on top. I'd be pleasantly surprised if its anything less than €100 for the two sets. I'd be speechless if both are anything near €50 for both. €65 is about what I would I have spent on the Dark imperium books to replace the first two & new one this weekend, I loved the series but really hate that they've made alterations to the first two books and changed the covers so the third one doesn't match the old set of books at all. After a single book- I could maybe roll my eyes and rebuy it, but having to rebuy two books I already own to get the most out of the final one. Nah. I'd rather buy models that can be used across multiple games and give me plenty of hobby time out of them. Still not impressed that they've not come out and said even something like 'These are the only ways to get the models currently/for the foreseeable future'- not that many would believe that at this point 'as foreseeable future' turned out to be like 7 mins with the game itself!
  20. Honestly, radio silence is pretty much their modus operandi and has been for years. I think some people (myself included) expected more from them considering they even pointed it out in the last shareholders letter saying that they need to do better when they muck stuff up (I may be paraphrasing there!) We can always hope from better from them though- they charge a premium price and claim to be the best miniatures. Trouble is, there are other companies out there that charge a lot less and don't make bold claims- even better for me, I can buy them at any time of day, any day of the week. I've also managed to get a refund quickly and without hassle when there has been a stock issue and more often than not, the issues been brought to my attention. With GW it is a case of email after a couple of weeks of it not showing and hope that either the order is covid delayed or wait another week to find out that they've cancelled it and just not bother telling me/refunding for it. Their communication is really next to none. Their little social media presence is advertising disguised as interactions. I love the models, games and universes. I'm just sick of them making it as much of a mission to buy an item or three as they have done and then seeing the community lash out at those that have had to chase items/repeatedly chase refunds/chase any sort of information.
  21. Yes they are, but without communication from GW on the game itself there are people that are hesitant to go buying up models at a jacked up price if GW are just going to turn around next week and announce Cusred City reprint or made to order. We can take a stab at the price of the minis by just looking at how jacked up they were for the indomitus were. Two sets are going to be pretty close to the price of the entire game. I didn't buy the set as it was promised to be around for while and quite honestly I'm sick of having to rush out of bed on a Saturday morning, desperate to log in to try and order only to not get it anyway as GW have been overselling stock like made, meaning I'm left chasing my money back again. I've given up the pre-order chasing with GW now as its become a horrible shopping experience. If I miss out on something then that money goes else where now. I love AoS but I'm buying next to no models from GW for use in it now, those that I do it when its like a start collecting, battleforce or a broken realms set. I'm buying more and more historical & alternative models, they are cheaper and for the most part, I can log on when ever I want to buy them. My group are already sticking legacy rules, we are pretty much no longer supporting AoS and we've spoken to others doing exactly the same. Having been able to pick up cursed city easily would have lead to a lot more sales- I'd have run an entire cursed city AoS skirmish campaign which would had lead to: Buying all/any new bosses/Xpacs Buying the new zombie/skeletons (as they fit the set ones. I'm certainly never going to be convinced to buy skeletons at €45 for any other reason. €60 for 91 models elsewhere) Buying other models from AoS to convert to new heroes/NPCs/Creatures Probably would have brought the book alongside game More paint as might as well chuck some in with order (I always bulk buy paints and buy top ups when I get down to a coupe of pots of favourite colours) Instead that money will probably go to stocking up on even more oathmark kits (again). Then I get to look forward to people complaining online that 'Those models are not AoS/You are not supporting the game/You are not really playing games in set in AoS with those models etc. Good times.
  22. So saying nothing is the alternative? Not a great idea when they are already piecemealing out the models, there is going to be a lot more complaining if they sell the models at a huge mark up, only for CC to suddenly show back up next month. They could could have said that if it was an issue, without upsetting their printers. 'Sorry but due to an manufacturing issue we can no longer continue to supply CC. If we get any news on the game returning in the future we will say on warcomm blah blah etc'. People have an answer, they can then decide if they want to go out and buy from ebay/trade groups, buy what ever scraps from the game get a piecemeal release or spend their cash on another game instead. It just seems that they are happy to stick their head in the sand long enough for people to be caught up in the next hype train and forget about this one- just like they did with Shadow War. They also know that in a months time, people complaining will be told to leave it alone its not coming back/get over it/buy if from ebay/leave the hobby and all the other usual rubbish that get shouted around on facebook groups. I have a nasty suspicion that between the bad guys and then a later hero release, the total will end up being way more than the box alone. Oh well, If I can convince myself to get it (There is really only the one model I really, really wanted out the whole box anyway, but the rest will make for nice conversion material) then I won't be getting the other stuff out this week and that will be sold out by the time I can be bothered to do another order.
  23. LoN was still available to buy as a digital book, up to the pre-order of the new book. But otherwise its been replaced with this new book. Most of the book had leaked which had the warscrolls in which showed what is still in there. You can probably still see the leaked stuff, but obviously I won't post/link it anywhere here. I dont' recall seeing an official statement from GW that LoN was being replaced, but I think it was just expected as it is the trend with battletomes.
  24. None of the poll options apply to me, but for me its a case of: Love the models. Would have loved to have brought it. Had no real interest in the game as-is, but would have used the boards, models and lore to play cursed city skirmish. I Didn't bother trying to buy it knowing that I'd have to either get up early and get my work done to be sat ready at 9:45am hitting refresh ready for the 9:55am sale, A practice I hate, not only does it make the site slower making it worse for all, but why would I want to waste my time like that. AND even then, should I managed to get it in to the basket and paid for, only for GW to not send anything for weeks (so you give them the benefit of the doubt as Covid/busy/stock issues anyway) only for me to go chasing them, wait another week for a reply, find out they oversold the item and withheld the entire order and ask me if I'd like the game removed & refunded so the rest of the order can be sent, I agree to it (annoyed that they didn't contact me) wait another week for them to email back again only to say another item has gone out of stock and repeat the process, finally get what ever is left of my original order and then still wait another full WEEK for them to refund me for the original game. This has happened about 4 times in the past year and half and once to my misses back in November when she placed a huge order (and that wasn't even new stock- all old odds n ends from across the ranges) which we finally got sometime in February. I stopped collecting Black Library books because of it- I've dropped buying AoS books completely and I only intend to finish buying the last three HH books and I'll be done- I won't collect any new series after that. So I didn't bother ordering Cursed City, as much as I'd have loved to had those minis to put on a really cool, spooky Gothic skirmish campaign. If I can't buy a product at a time that suits me and not in an approximate 7 min window that GW decide on, then I've got no real interest in it any more. There are a hundred other companies out there that I can buy models from at what ever time or day of the week I want. This pre-ordering system of GW is archaic and quite honestly feels like a scam to me. Good models & games sell themselves, this hype-buy it quick-sold out-brought back piecemeal sales tactic of GW just feels scummy to me. They could have easily have come and said something about it what happened with this game, even if was only a half hearted attempted to explain it. At least it would have let people have closure and either pay scalper prices (if they want it bad enough) or find a new game to focus on. All they've done is bring back a handful of the minis (which I have to assume will be vastly jacked up in price) which just makes the matter worse. If they even came clean and said it was meant to be a one time thing and list the minis that would be coming back, then at least we could plan to buy what we wanted 2nd hand or from places that still had stock etc. As it is, they either they planned this (which would make sense- as these models from the game are in the new undead book) and had no intention of a reprint, which is awful or they had some issue and don't have the transparency to come clean that there is something really wrong with their stock or ability to make so much. (Side note: I had the same problem with Shadow War as well and spent more time than I would have liked being shouted at by complete strangers thinking that this is an acceptable way to do business/these games are only ever meant to be one and done (even though they hyped shadow war up on the preview stream claiming it was going to be the new big game to go alongside 40k) or that it was a one off issue with stock as they didn't foresee demand etc. I see the exact same arguments now (only with added covid) for cursed city)
  25. They could have put something like 'we know a lot of you were disappointed when you missed these models previously and we wanted you to have them as part of the new book, so we've released them as a single set/two sets'. They mentioned the city they are from but can't even pop up a half hearted apology or even acknowledge there is an issue with the models being sold out so quick. Whilst there might be some reason that they can't mention it, but saying nothing they appear to be just sweeping it under the carpet. Does make me chuckle when the last share holders report mentions something about them needing to do better when they don't do right by their customers.
