Playing around with a Gavespawn list. Really fell in love with the fluff. Suggestions for improvement would be great. Add a endless spell or not?

I really like this one. My old list is quite similar. I use gnarlroot. Ancient instead of Durthu. And only 3 Kurnoth hunters . Try to summon more hunters and Dryads.

Ohoy. If I want to jump aboard and place my heart and soul in this army. What should I buy? Long have I avoided this army because of the negativity around KO. I have bought many armies since the KO release but have not "stuck" with any of them. I love the look and the lore of the Kharadron overlords and maybe thats the thing I'm really looking for. I would love a fun build that also is competitive. But also something that I can use straight out of the boxes, I don't want to hunt loads of extra bits for extra cheese. Sorry for the wall of text. Would be great if I could get some advice. Thank you

Well. I just looked through the book. There are sooo many things to choose from... I will have a really hard time building lists ?

I don't have my book yet so I really don't know. But I might get 2 or 3 start collecting boxes because of the great value. Sell off a couple of Ghorgons and Shamans and get something more.

So what should I bring along with my Shaggoth and Dragon ogors?

If I don't want to paint hordes. Any fun builds? I get my book on monday. But one idea I had was Shaggoth(s) combined with Dragon Ogors and Doomblast dirgehorn.

Yeah I'm divided here. My list only have three units as you mentioned. I might need to split things up.

My reason using Thralls is 1. I bought them at the release. 2. An army of just eels look very boring if you sak me. If I could start over then maybe it could have been Reavers instead. I know that eels are the best unit but I like mixed forces simply because it looks better on the table.

Going three small units of Thralls over one big blob? Seen your other lists, why this change? Any suggestions for my list?

Another option might be just one Tidecaster and use Aspect of the sea. What do you guys think? Also which endless spells work well for us?

Based on the models I own I'm tempted to try: Volturnos Aspect of the storm Tidecaster Tidecaster Soulscryer 30 Thralls 6 Ishlaen guard 6 Morrsarr guard Ends up at 1940. Going Storm over Sea because that gives me room to add an endless spell.

Sounds like some people like storm, others sea : ) I have two Tidecasters and don't know if I should build sea or storm version...

I was thinking about the fact that they usually print in hardback and then softback not remove and just sell digital. There are no books in swedish, we use the english versions.

I noticed on the swedish GW site that the Seraphon battletome is only sold in digital format. Does somebody know how long that has been a thing?
