This is really cool! Do you have photoshop? I feel with the clean white backgrounds it wouldn't be too hard to add some backdrops behind the miniatures. I had a quick go, but you might be able to do it better, especially if you have high res versions of the pictures

wow, your re-work of the pictures looks awesome, well done! I don't have photoshop, but other software like GIMP should also let me do that.
At first, I wanted to use my pictures and turn them via Prism into some comic style, therefore I used the whie background. But prism just works with square format, so I was not able to cover the battle scenes in an appropiate way.
I am afraid I don't have such great pictures you used in the examples, and also finding suitible ones for each persepective will be quite tricky. just to keep it simple with full focus on the miniatures, I guess I will continue with the simple white background. But thanks a lot for your re-work, it creates a perfect atmosphere for the situation I had in mind :-) also maybe for special shots I will make use of specific backgrounds as well, your samples are a great proof what is possible with some additional tricks :-)
