Except for the headswap, I've decided to keep my prosecutor prime mostly stock, though I might yet add some feather tokens. This model is just so much busier than the liberator prime, or even the retributor prime, and I didn't want it to look crowded. Thoughts?

Here's a couple of WIPs for absolutely no good reason.
First, as you can see, I'm almost done with the paint on the liberator prime:
And second, here's the finished kit-bash for a retributor prime:

The plan is to eventually have a mixed Order army based around Astral Templars backed up by the remnants of my Seraphon army. I plan to use lots of Seraphon and Space Wolf bits to customize my Astral Templars, giving them the primal decorations that were described in the novels and audio dramas. Expect some attempts at freehand as well.
Without further ado...
Here's the paint scheme I'm going for:
And here's Duncan's video describing the way to get that purple.
And, finally, my first WIP, a liberator prime made out of the liberator that came with the Get Started magazine:

I've been working on some modelling and sculpting and conversion. These are two models I'm particularly proud of: a mounted wight king and the leader of my grave guard. The wight king started as a black knight model, but with a shield from the grave guard kit, a head from the skeleton warrior kit, a morningstar from the ancient skeleton regiment box, and a pimp collar that's partly third party "wolf pelts" and partly greenstuff. The grave guard is a bog-standard grave guard, but with the ax rather than the generic "great weapon" to distinguish him from his "men" and a head from the skeleton regiment box.
I really like those horned heads. I'm going to end up using all of them. I wonder if I could learn how to make a cast of them...

And here I am posing with my Start Collecting! box. It's hardly the first models I've bought for this branch of my Undead, but it's definitely the core of the force, since ten snap-fit skeletons, ten grave guard without bases, five black knights, and a couple of different wight kings are hardly an army. I mean, I guess technically it's an army, but not a good one.
I'd like to get everyone to write a little something about themselves and why they chose this army for our Tale of Gamers, and since I believe in leading by example...
Hopefully I'll be able to post soon with my fellow gamers' photos and intros. Thanks for reading!

Let me introduce you to a model I'm very proud of - my varghulf courtier, pictured here in some dramatic moments from the game where he was definitely Most Valuable Crazy Cannibal Turned Vampire Blood Drinking Monstrosity.
Also, some gamer's-eye-shots of my ghouls.

Here are a few of my finished works so far. I'm aware of some of the weirder problems, like wash dry spots and stubborn mold lines. It was my first time on this color scheme! I've got some new pictures to post soon with some models that look much better?
