  1. I thought I would add some TO's commentary on why I selected this rules pack. The Masters should be the toughest event of the year to win. There are no easy games at the masters and I wanted to the rules pack to reflect that, I wanted a pack that would incorporate the hardest parts of the game to master, while also giving the players the most amount of information to prepare for the event. I chose to run from a single realm as this would remove any complications around some of the more powerful realm rules and spells. To balance this out I made sure that we would be playing a range of the trickier battle plans. Players have full knowledge of what they will be playing and can plan for this, but they also now need to bring a list that is flexible enough to win the likes of Relocation Orb and Star Strike, Places of Arcane Power and Total Commitment. One very powerful realm spell that has been talked about at length is Inferno Blades. I decided that I would not shy away from letting this in the event. Instead, everyone would know that it was to be played, in which round and should be able to plan for that. On the subject of soft scores I have added a few simple rules. Be nice. Bring a painted army that looks like an army and make sure you play to the times. If that happens every one will get top marks!

  5. Dropped 10 Ironsworn and Magma. That’s how many points saved without the massive reg bonus? Does it fit.
  6. I played with list today. I faced a beasts army with a mix of units using a battalion based around summoning. I lost on the battleplan pretty quickly but it was fun to get the toys on the board. Trip magmas is solid but I can’t help thinking it’s too many points into swingy shooting. More fireglaives and less ironsworn could be better. Draz is a love/hate as ever. he’s very fast and tanky, bad at combat bad at shooting and expensive but I love him!! gryph charm on Tauruk is interesting, I think in a meta full of 3+ with rerolls, the -2 is not enough. Armour of Baz is my preferred choice But I’ll stick with this and see how it goes for a few games Looking forwards to playing more games
  7. I'm playing this list today. i'll let you know how I get on. It's very similar to what I usually play so should be an easy switch. I don't often run the 3rd Magma or the 30 blob but I suppose I can drop some bulls and give it a go. Lots of de-buffs in the list with the Geminids, Tauruk and ash storm.
  8. The guy at Blood and Glory was a legend. He faced Ian in game 1, notorious Bonesplitterz general. There was much monster hunting!!!!
  9. This is cool. Over the years various people have posted similar things and i've always enjoyed wishing I had the space for one.
  10. It sounds like things are in hand with this, but I will pass it on to the people I know at GW. Sounds like a genuine mispack of a whole kit here!
  11. Lots more donations and Subs overnight! Thanks to everyone who signed up!
  12. fixed it now, it sits above the other 3. should be better
  13. No, that just donations. I 'think' i can make it automatically add, but i need to figure it out. As it is, i'll intermittently manually update it.
  14. Thanks to @Ollie Grimwood @Andy Bryan @RuneBrush @Jaze @nels1031 for subscribing already! And also for the donation!
  15. Hi TGA. Back in feb i gave a shout out for help to this amazing community which ultimately resulted in me being told the many varied and wonderful ways that you would all like to support the site. The gist of this is that the site is getting very expensive to run (I’ve paid out over £3000 in the last 12 months) and as the community grows the costs are ever increasing. I previously wrote about this in detail so I won’t go into it all again, but the response was just amazing! Its taken me another 6+ months to get around to it, but over the next few weeks I will be introducing a 3 ways that will help cover the running costs of TGA. I’ll talk here about how we will be doing this, and why I have chosen each of them. Advertising. After thinking about this long and hard, I have decided that I WILL be including display ads on the site. I was initially very much against doing this as the last thing I want is for the site to look like many other places online where you get bombarded with Ads. However, if done right I think it can work very well. I will be finding advertisers that are relevant to our community and working with them to help their business, which in-turn will better the community. It will also be a way for to support the site without forcing anyone to pay. The amount of ads will be tiered. Guests will get lots, Registered members less. There will also be an option to ‘turn ads off’ by joining one of the premium membership groups, which leads me nicely onto the next bit… Premium Membership. Available right away is just a single membership group. I hope to expand this in future to offer higher and lower options for those that would like to give more and receive move value in return, and also for those who would like to support the site but are limited in what they can afford (or are willing) to pay. That is a further cost to get implemented so fo now we have a single membership group. TGA Members - £5 per month Fuzzy Feeling – a warm and comforting glow from knowing that you are actively contributing to TGA’s success Less Adverts - We reduce the adverts to members around TGA Unlimited Likes - Unrestricted amount of likes available per day (MOST REQUESTED FEATURE!) Club Badge – special forum badge to show you’re a proud supporter in your posts/profile Sign up here - https://www.tga.community/subscriptions/ Donations Donations are a simple and fuss free way of contributing. 18. Its awesome the that the 3 main combat units in the faction are all a viable, and tough to call, addition to the lists. I guess, there are lots of other options too, but the fact that these 3 are so close is great
  19. It was the cult of slannesh. Such a fun army to play too!
