  1. @Landohammer what pts cost would you logically value Alarielle at? ignoring the cost of her summonable unit, one can argue she’s pointed at 540 So objectively, how would you cost a 3 cast wizard that knows all the spells in the lore (to gain bonuses to cast, heal modes, heal units, summon woods, cast reroll 1s to hit and wound), can retreat shoot & charge with a damage 6 2+/2+/-2 shot and mortals on the charge and high damage melee attacks and heals itself 2d6 a turn? I mean, personally I’d like to see something like that cost 480/500pts. So are we talking about a 40pt decrease to make her more palatable? (not trying to be provocative, just leading a discussion)

  3. Maybe if we get rules in BR:Kragnos we may see a change (or at least a clear ruling) as to how the woods get dropped... ...one can hope anyway
  4. Agree with a lot of everyone’s wishlisting already! Here’s what I’ve been hoping - Rewrite “Places of Power” Ability to all Sylvaneth units in the battleshock phase take a battleshock test and on a 1, heal/return d6 wounds when wholly within 8” of a WW - Rewrite Alarielle (she needs to fight with her spear in combat) bring her pts down at make her a powerhouse - TLA to be a 2 cast - Rewrite Treelord - Bow Hunters an additional shot - TRevs to hit on 3s - Rewrite Branchwych to be a cleric of sorts - Rewrite Ironbark (army ignore -1 rend when charged) - Rewrite Oakenbrow (ignore BS when near TLs) - WW to give all Sylvaneth cover when wholly within 3” - New “working” battalions thank you for listening to my TED Talk

Has anyone branched off and played other list builds (non-factioned or the other sub factions) or does everyone still play Ironsunz? ive played Bloodtoofs the last 6 months and am finding them SO much more relevant throughout the game I’ve only played a Da Choppas list once and it was a “footboss/+3 bravery bubble/cogs build” What are everyone’s thoughts?

  14. @Pennydude I’d take Alarielle for 600-700pts for that! -whole spell lore, heal/summon on successful casts
  15. @Aezeal @Pennydude 100% agree! even +2 wounds on all treelord variants & Drycha, healing at the end of the phase/turn if near a wood, actual impactful dread wood abilities (Drycha, spite Revs, skull root etc), toughen up the trees, drop Alarielle’s points by at least 1/4 AND FINALLY the whole armies abilities via the woods would actually make them better if the woods offered additional protection (+1 save if within 6”), healing, bravery and casting Just my 2 cents
  16. Make Wyldwoods offer a 5++ DPR or heal 1,d3 or d6 wounds at the start/end of the turn or during a phase

I’d like to see GW take them to vintage horror fantasy with all the classic horror movie tropes (Bram’s Stokers Dracula, Dracula Untold, Frankenstein, Van Helsing, Werewolves) - Head Vampire, followed by a retinue of vampires - Elite Vampire Units - Mortal units (entranced or enslaved by Vampires to do their bidding) - ghoulish bats - Werewolves - Abominations And vampire units have powers/abilities to affect themselves and the board while also being difficult to kill. Abilities to (turn into a swarm of bats and) teleport, drain the life out of units (and heal), mask themselves in darkness, cripple enemies’ morale and ability to fight
  18. Can we actually create a 40k arm off TGA? I’m a huge fan of using this forum site and reckon a 40k forum will work wonders - adjacent to AoS . Hope I’m not alone.
  19. This has probably been discussed to death. But quickly. Which Faction Terrain Rules do we use for deploying our free wyldwood now? My best guess is 3” from terrain, 1” from objectives AND 1” away from enemy territory? All these rules changes have me confused and I feel they need a specific Designer’s Commentary

  22. @cplhicks Savage Big Boss is now 90 so take an Extra Command Point for your troubles. plus perhaps run as Big Waaagh for those Big Stabbas to be hitting on 2s wounding on 2s
