And I will say this. For anyone just absolutely done for whatever period of time with the current state of things I'd highly suggest checking out One Page Rules fantasy games if you haven't. Your minis will never be unwanted there. 🤜🤛

@Ragest Those are valid points. Let me ask you this though, has any faction thus far undergone such a drastic design change (different proportions, the inclusion of the opposite sex, an arguably more gritty presentation, etc) AND needs to show consumers what the setting is a reflection of other than SE? I'd say no. So on that front I think we can all be a bit less emotional even if the situation justifies our intensities and look at this with a bit more logic. Geedubs is a mega corporation so I'll always give them the side eye regardless, heh, but I'm pretty sure anything new in te setting is safe. @The Red King First off, my condolences. ✊️ I truly hope you can find something as enjoyable as your goats. I'm out of reactions here, been an interesting day for the hobby indeed. May I ask why you feel that's too much. Again, legit curious. 6 years is a pretty substantial amount of time. Imagine raising a child for 6 years, doing a military tour for 6 years, recovering from a life threatening accident for 6 years, hell, doing 6 yeas in prison... And I feel safe saying those minis were kinda redundant when the came out. If you are a fan then that's great. I myself thought they looked good but still felt the redundantcy.

I really do understand and have sympathy for BoC and Bones fans but I don't understand the level of uproar with the sacrosanct minis or the warcry bands. Warcry is a side specialist game. We all know Geedubs are having production problems and can you really expect them to carry 6-8 random designed warbands of just chaos cultists mind you? Products take up space. Space takes money, etc. To me it just makes sense. They've locked in a final design on their poster faction and the older versions do not match their vision going forward. AOS is almost 10 years old. 10!! That's a third of what fantasy was around for already!!! Things will change. Models and memories are forever... I'm not trying to be insensitive here but does your faction really need -basic melee battleline- AND -basic melee battleline with a robe-? What's to stop you from just using those as whatever they closest match to? I've read several posts about projects of people using a certain warband across a whole StD army and I salute y'all!! That's friggin rad!! Ya know what, keep doing it! Finish that project!! Your StD army is going to look dope AF on the table top!! I salute YOU!! Also from what I've read over the years I've been in the hobby and this forum is that fans are sick of the bloat anyway and have been asking for this. Legitimately asking here.

Just out of curiosity how old are the current BoC and Bonesplittez plastics? I don't believe ogors will be getting anything other than a scale/design/range update. It's just taking awhile. If the entire range was up to par with the gorgers and the CoS warhulk I'd start a new army. Just saying. I could see a bit of trimming across a few other factions. I could also see an update to those early fyreslayers kits as well with newer design and inclusion of both sexes. That last warcry band seemed to have been really well accepted. But... Get these damn Rats and lightning zombies out the door!!! I needz me some gitmob!!!

Concerning the SE cut I really think it's reall just as simple as they want a cohesive design moving forward with their poster faction. These are all from a brand new game setting in its infancy where design or even rate of said IPs success were up in the air. Now that it's not even a question they simply want a solid coherent design throughout the range. Sometimes you have to just rip the bandaid off instead of dragging it out. I've no doubt we'll see the sacrosanct design again in future releases.

@The Lost Sigmarite @Souleater Thanks for the explanations. Sounds to me like a case of the sensitives more than anything. Those examples could be used to explain a myriad of early humans as opposed to any one culture. Eh, is what it is.

To my fellow fans of the green my hobby heart goes out to you. The range had a fantastic run. I'm personally excited what this means for jawz and krules going forward as it opens up design space occupied by our fallen friends. I sympathize with fans who are on the losing end here but I also can understand why this is happening from a design point. Hopefully you can find a new home with a new force. Interesting times ahead.

Customize to your hearts content! Its a fantastic aspect of this hobby. I just don't want to see such a watered down version of rules that it's just melee weapons and ranged weapons. It's just not a game I want to play. I enjoy making tactical decisions in my games. I enjoy using different tools to solve different problems and making decisions on what tools to bring. This is why I'm a fan of the newest ardboyz scroll. Hand weapons give +1 attack on charge, spears give +1 rend if charged. It's simplified down enough that you can model damn near however you want and still gives immersion and tactical depth by effectively changing a units battlefield role. It's not something I want to spend hours min maxing over but I don't want a game where effectively nothing really matters either.

Shaved the hammer head down and painted the nose guard to match existing trim. Does it help?
