  1. Hopefully he will have interesting rules. Would like him to be really slappy with 7 Attacks 3 dmg on the charge or something like that. And a lone agent ability with a 4+ ward if there are no friendly models close. Would not mind if he costs 200 points. This is just pure wishlisting, but I don't want him to be just another grimwrath/doomseeker/runeson
  2. It moves after setting up and then at the start of your hero phase
  3. I checked how the Idoneth sharks work in the app. They count for 3 battleline and also 3 slots in batallions
  4. I can see it working theoretically, however in my gaming experience charging with hearthguard never worked for me as they always went out of their bubbles. But that might just be my inability. Maybe this tactic is the solution for my problem 😉 Would be great to hear how it worked out
  5. I would consider 3 options for the 130 points: Runeson + Invocation(whichever you like most): galletian champ + utility Swap the Grimwrath with a Runeson and add a unit of Vulkites: more bodies with little less damage Add 1 unit of aurics: some bodies that can sit on a back objective and still do something or a good screening unit I don't think a run and charge Grimwrath is working good in galletian command as he will run away from the HGB unless you give them run and charge all the time. A Runeson would work better if you don't play very aggressive.
  6. The change to helon is a big one because it now only works in your shooting phase. So no bonus shots with unleash hell...
  7. I think you will have problems with your damage output. There is only 1 unit that can put good damage in the grimwrath. The aurics are fine in combination with runes miter but not at the 1k level. You essentially put 40% of your list in reserve to drop on a backfield objective. This will lose you some games without even rolling the dice. I would split the Vulkites and gave one unit double handaxes. Gives you more board presence and more damage
  8. I think lumineth will have the cathallar as the hero model because she is more of a general than the loreseeker. I assume that we see Wardens und Sentinels next to her and then maybe the ballista or if we are lucky a spirit of the wind. I could see them revealing all the missing vanguard boxes at nova (including stormcast and orruks)
  9. I can't remember if you posted your list here but could you do us the favor? I would also love to do a cav only list but the painting scares me quite a bit!
  10. Yes, as long as they don't split the warscrolls between Tzeentch and BoC which is unlikely.
  11. People always used to take picks because of the extra rend so you will see a lot of people still using that layout. With only one attack on their new profile I don't think it is that relevant any more because the damage output of both handaxe and war picks is pretty low. My advice would be to take whatever you like better visually and from a painting standpoint.
  12. So much to unpack here. As a sucker for all things Alarith I would love to see a glow up for them. Getting rerolls back and maintaining the ignore rend -2 in Ymetrica would be super rad but is also pretty unlikely. I want them to keep the keyword abilities (alarith, vanari, hurakan) because they are fluffy and not op. Looking at it from the other side, I cannot see them removing shining company so those things should be safe. What they should fix however are the stances on the stoneguard as you already pointed out. It always felt weird in the last two books so either change it so that it actually feels like stances(meaning only one can be active at a time) or simply take them out. I am curious to see how they going to handle the MW issue. Maybe power of hysh goes from 1 MW on 5+ too 2 MW on 6+. Would make it more swingy and therefore less NPE. Don't know it really is a fine line to walk. Hopefully they come up with a good solution. Dawnrider will probably stay as is because GW anticipates going into a horde season and this is where they could really shine. As for new models, I hope it's not too much because I'm still way of on what I want in my collection.
  13. Didn't play a game with the new book so far, but from my experience with the army I also found them helpful because they give us mobility. You could also ally in some stormdrakes or a gunhauler for mobility. It's a little bit down to your preference. On some Battleplans they really shine with their deep-strike potential. Being able to tag 2 objectives in the backfield can really make a big difference. Another plus is that you can hide a unit from an alpha strike. I have one in my list but if I recall correctly most tournament lists did not have any.
  14. You can find them on tabletop.to https://tabletop.to/the-hampshire-grand-tournament/lists
