@Big Kim Woof-Woof I hear you on the gorgeous models for the Hedonites - this one alone nearly sold me on a little army: Just fantastic! 😍

So, my first Warhammer Fantasy army was the Lizardmen - I picked them because they look like little dinosaurs! 😁 They also turned out to be a solid midtier army in WHFB, which was nice. (At least they were solid midtier with how I built them in my local scene). Their glow-up in the past little while has really reignited my passion for them, too! My second Warhammer army was Tomb Kings, though I really only picked them up towards the end of 8th. I was drawn to the idea of a fully mounted chariot army (and with the Old World, that vision can come to pass! Good things do come to those who wait!). The Tomb Kings Ride To War! My most recent Warhammer army is Ironjawz. With the new game just starting to get rolling, I decided to lean into an army that was built from the ground up to be AoS, and I've always liked the various Orcs (and Orks, and now Orruks), so the new Brutes and Megabosses were a big draw. Plus, one of my friends tends towards "Always Be Dwarfs" so we could always have justification for rivalries. Lots of games, lots of grudges added, lots of grudges settled, and lots of fun!

I had started a Tomb Kings army when WHFB ended, so I dug those out of storage (very dusty boxes!) and added one of the launch boxes to bulk out my units. Really looking forward to getting back into a rank and file game!

I'm loving the Ironjawz update - my old Ardboyz get to retire to the display cabinet. I'm really looking forward to trying out the new units over the next little while!

Well, maybe he's brute sized since he's a "Big Boss" and the regular Ardboyz will be smaller than him? I do like the model.

I believe that folks on the Bolter & Chainsword have found that the best way to contact Hachette is to actually give them a call, might be worth a try if you haven't already?

I'm kind of hopeful that rumour engine is a redone Astrolith Bearer, but I could definitely see terrain.

Yeah, it looks like <Slaves to Darkness> isn't currently an option. Should be an easy fix via errata, though. The Chaos Mortal ancestry is otherwise the same as the one from the GHB 2020.

Currently, my Orruks are lead by Zagga Bonekruncha, an Ardboy Boss (with a custom warscroll) aligned with the Ironsunz warclan. He's building up a power base to show da Grotkicker who's the better boss for the Ironsunz. As Zagga walks his path to glory, he is slowly drawing more ladz to his cause: a couple mobs of Ardboys, a mob of Ardboy Boarboys (with another custom warscroll), a Weirdnob Shaman, a Warchanter, and some Kruleboyz Gutrippaz. He just has to deal with some fyre-stunties and other local denizens first...

Hi all, I'm Chris (aka Boss Casman, obvs), I've been lurking around the community for quite a while now, and decided to join in. I've mainly played Ironjawz in AoS, and have started to slowly add in some Kruleboyz for a Big Waaagh! I'm also patiently waiting for a refresh of my first WHFB army: Lizardmen/Seraphon. Those of you familiar with the Bolter & Chainsword will likely recognize me as Brother Casman. 😀
