Hello, I decided to stop lurking and join the community. I stopped playing any wargaming for about 10 years to raise my son(He's 12). When COVID rolled around and we had a lot of time on our hands, we both jumped into painting and Warhammer 40k. We now have Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Necrons, Tyranids, Tau, and Chaos Marine armies, some but not all painted. I was a big fan of Warhammer Fantasy and had a large Dark Elf army back in the late 2000s, but I did not think I would return to the hobby and unfortunately sold it off. I saw what happened to Age of Sigmar over the last 6 years and occasionally would get the urge to dip back in. I have a Daughters of Khaine book, and a Gloomspite Gitz book, but have not put any money down on models. After perusing the range again, I am getting into Disciples of Tzeentch/Slaves to Darkness and my son is getting into Seraphon. I don't plan on playing Disciples of Tzeentch super competitively. I plan on swapping out Pink Horrors for Chaos Warriors as an example. However, my son and I just like to have fun playing the game. We have two LGS(both great businesses), both an hour away from us in Vermont, USA, so we don't really plan to play there much.

I am no expert but I am in the process of putting together my first Age of Sigmar list. I was leaning towards Guild of Summoners to help support the Battleshock issue with the artifact. It also locks you to only summon Lords of Change. I was going to swap out the Pink Horrors for some Chaos Warriors as a weaker tarpit unit. Pyrofane Cult was the other option I was investigating, but their Battleshock stats are hard to work around.
