  1. Pig rules out the chariot imho. I'd love something for Bonesplitterz\ogors or Kruleboyz but seems IJ only.
  2. So...no elite infantry unit?No warpriest? Seems a second wave is in the oven imho...the kits seems too few for the "biggest project in aos till now". Great characters but if everyone of them is a single warscroll means we don't have enough toops imho...i don't like this trend of having 6/7 heroes and 3/4 units. Hoping for the characters to be a sort of command squad/Gobbapalooza unit.
  3. Chaos daemons are made from the chaos gods essence, doesn't make senses "good chaos daemons"....still order "daemons" would have made senses also in whfb considering the order deities (alluminas\arianka and so on) that were enemy of the chaos ones. Daemons is an all catching term to some extent like the greek Daimon in such cases (as Seraphon starborne).
  4. I'd be honest....cities becoming multi-species imperial guard is kind of intriguing and interesting. Having a motto against the other 3 grand alliances (i'd have used demons tbh but fiend sounds the same) makes senses: the crusades want to reclaim the realms for the order pantheon and fight every threats posed by chaos,Nagash or destruction\beasts. @Baron Klatz IIRC reclaimed were all the people that did not worshipped chaos during the age of chaos and resisted them, chaos taint (unless some cases like Tornus and stormcasts reforging) can't be "undone" so they would be the first target to be eliminated during a crusade\expansion probably.
  5. Considering how aos is sometimes mirroring 40k i would think is a real possibility a mandrake aos version.
  6. Cities is a long term project so i don't think we will not have something that will "make possible" using old oop kits. Kurnothi seems wanderer 2.0 with some animal side, Malerion "maybe" will bring something similar to old DE and Grungni maybe will expand old dispossessed into something more like a "classic dwarf faction in the mortal realms". Also the cities can take options from other order armies so i can't see why someone should be against using old wanderers as a kurnothi in a cities army like tempest eye's Kharadron.
  7. Considering that hero i'd say some ranged unit and artillery should have already been confirmed.
  8. I hope,we need more sigmarite cult goodness in the cities otherwise i't would be lame.
  9. I'd love a cult of the wheel version....no wheels but flagellants taking the altar on their backs.
  10. "at least fyreslayer will get a new unit.....right?" Still some new troggs are good i guess.
  11. Considering how they specified different cults among the sigmarite worshippers i think we'll get only those sadly(cult of the wheel, church of the Heldenhammer and so on)....
  12. The whole point of giving the "order ogor" no gut is a stylistic choice that makes sense imho. They wanted to bring back the pre-6th edition ogor look to make them distinguishable from destruction ones. Brutogg was the first "clue" about this and i like the idea because makes both types of ogor "different" without going too much away from the gw ogre history.
  13. "It's over chaotic scum,i have the high ground" I can't wait to see the ogor unit, this hero is a nice "appetizer".
  14. or maybe a bigger model...like an ogor? I hope so...but also a war altar or some siege weapon would be nice.
  15. So...the Summerking mention in the story means the Fec release will have the mortarch itself? I hope so.
  16. What if the 4th edition starter will see a new "subfaction" of a preexisting army like Kruleboyz? The only thing i could see are kurnothi though for Sylvaneth...(Malerion and Chorfs technically have their own forces i'd say).
  17. I'd be honest, the trailer gives me dawn of war vibes and i really hope is on par with those games (or at least dark crusade). Probably other factions are meanwhile developed to be dlcs or even full expansion. Hoping the death faction for the game initially are the OBR,while Nighthaunt are not bad, OBR are the best for some "strategical" game as they are the most focused on that aspectt s they rebuild the environment with cities by the principles of Necrotopia and so on.
  18. If they're doing like indomitus the sm and tyranid wave will come out in fall though. Necron and Sm got their units some months after.
  19. Considering that book 2 is about destruction...could it bbe the third book about death?
  20. I'd say cities will surely have a "dedicated" part for the sigmarite cult and inquisition. Warrior priests are oop currently and they surely will bring back them.
  21. Considering we're getting an analogue to Ogryn auxiliaries i'd say in the structure of the army and probably the lore to some extent(putting emphasis on the "common man against all the horrors of the realms" and many regiments/organizations of the cities).
