Under the new rules for being able to take 1 unit of BoC in every 4, in a DoT army, if you take tzaangor units can they be the reduced cost ones from BoC?

Can you take a preyton in a BoC army? All the information I can find seems outdated (points etc). I think I know the answer to the question as I can't find the unit on Azyr...

This is brilliant advice mate - thanks for taking the time to go into so much detail, it's really appreciated. Definitely got me buzzed to start building that army list. I had other questions ready but you've answered most of them - am surprised to hear you recommend Grashrak though, most of what I've read absolutely dumps on those warbands so you've got me intrigued! A new player looking for some advice. I have collected a disciples of tzeentch force that I intend to make a little less squishy with S2D units (warriors, knights, warshrine). I would also like to run the Phantasmagoria of fate battalion as I like the look of BoC units, and I would like to have a cygor as a mage sniper with fate dice. My questions are: - Has anyone got experience of running this battalion with DoT? Or does its ability to give non wizard units a chance to dispel work too much against the summoning mechanic? - Would I be better off taking a ghorgon than a cygor? Any advice/anecdotes welcome and my apologies for the noob questions!

Can anyone offer any advice on how many battalions are typical to take for 1000, 2000 and 2500 point armies? I understand you have to assess whether they are worth the points for the benefits and deployment, but was just wondering if anyone could tell me what they typically look to take with any given army size. Thanks!
