  1. Hey I usually just play against my roommate and we are pretty relaxed on rules when it comes to forming the army. He is Tzeentch and mainly has flamers holding of on pink horrors for right now. I am gloomspite, I've been running trolls to help with the magic resistance and their ward is fantastic against all the mortal wounds. For the most part he just dominates me in games. I have some back up squigs but when i used mainly squigs I was erased before I even got a turn. Any suggestions? Leader Troggboss Mollog Skragott Battleline 3xFellwater Troggs 3xRockgut Troggs 3xRockgut Troggs 3xRockgut Troggs Other 5xBoingrot Bounders 5xBoingrot Bounders 5xBoingrot Bounders 6xSneaky Snufflers 1635/1650 points
  2. Hey with the update to the Flamers of Tzeentch "Page 106 – Flamers of Tzeentch Delete the ‘Guided by Billowing Flames’ ability and change the ‘Capricious Warpflame’ rule to: ‘Add 1 to hit rolls for attacks made by this unit if the target unit has 10 or more models.’ " The Guided by Billowing Flames is removed does this mean having an exalted flamer is now useless? Ie why would you add one to army when you can just add more regular flamers?
  3. Hey, struggling again with charging and who is in combat. When you charge you roll 2d6 then determine who you can charge. If I am only just barely in range of unit A for the charge, I get to pile in 3" before combat? If this 3" gets me in range of a different unit (B) that i did not charge can I attack them? If the 3" puts me within 3" of a different unit that I did not charge (unit B) does this put them in combat? Ie they will not be able to move freely next turn without retreating I play boingrots and I am wondering about their charging ability, after I succeed on my charge at a unit do I immediately trigger the effect? Or should I complete my other charges first? and last thing to check is can a unit use unleash hell on itself? Thank you for all the replies they have helped game play majorly!!

On a more specific note Glogg's MegaMob gives the command ability Oblivious to Sorcery can both Troggboss and Mollog use this ability to give two different units resistance?
  5. Me and roommate play pretty relaxed game ie point limit but pick whatever units. So at the moment we are at 1590 and I have 3 leaders skragott, troggboss, and Mollog.i am wondering about artifacts and command abilities. My allegiance ability of the trogg party gives me the command ability to give my trolls magic resistance. Who gains that command ability? Who has an artifact / can receive one?
  6. I am wondering about buffs and debuffs. Can an unit be effect by the same ability more than once? And if they are different abilities that either +1 or -1 can that stack? Ie can a unit ever have +2 to hit Magic question -If a wizard fails to cast a spell can they make an attempt to recast or do they have to pick a different one? -can different wizards cast the same spell?
  7. Hey quick question. Unit coherency in 3.0 states if the unit has 6 or more models they must be near 2 friendly models to stay on the battlefield. Does this rule go away when the unit goes under 6 models?
  8. Hey, new to the page and the game. I have roommates who mainly play 40k but I just purchased some gloomspite units. We are pretty bouncy when it comes to different rules and things to look out for especially ones that are changed from 40k. Any good sites, or summaries for the rules to watch out for? One question I have, for Mollog's Mob, the ability Reassuring Presence does not stack with another models Reassuring Presence? (ie Troggboss), follow up, does Jabbertoads -1 to enemy attack roles stack with his Spiteshroom -1 to attacks in that combat phase? Meaning he shoots the unit first then attacks making the 5+. Right now I am rocking Troggs (15 Troggoth, Troggboss, Skragott) near 1200 points. I have some squigs (25 hoppers, 12 snufflers, boss on giant squig) but because I am facing my roommate who has tzeentch the magic resistance is sweet. He mainly places flamers and lord of change. He is adding a burning chariot soon and Im adding mollog's mob. If you have any advice on rules specific to these armies to watch out for or generic advice to help me beat him😀 Last question, we are pretty free style play right now but what are the rules regarding how many heroes, who gets what artifacts, how many, and same question but about command traits? (Does only general get all these ? ) and we use battlescribe if that helps. Thank you a bunch!
  9. What book is that from? Glogg's Megamob?
  10. Hey so I'm somewhat new to warhammer and just started a Gloomspite army. I mainly play against my roommate and he is playing Tzeentch. He so far has agreed to not play pink horrors against me because of how op people say they are and is running mainly tanzangors , flamers, lord of change, changecaster, hero on disk, and the disk unit. I really enjoy and mainly have squigs. I have 25 boingrot, 12 squig herd, loonboss on giant, and 12 sneaky snufflers. I have about 12 extra rockgut, and trollboss, and he lets me proxy in Skragott. He plans on getting some flaming chariots next and Im unsure how I should move forwards. Skragott is awesome (if the dice allow it) for annoying his lord of change and making him want to use his destiny dice or be poisoned. I've had terrible luck with the trolls, so I try to use dankhold troggoth for his bravery boost. Sorry for the random order of this post. We are averaging 1500-1600 point games and we randomly roll for the game mode from core rule book. I am looking for advice on how I should be facing him. Ideas for the army set up and further upgrades.
