Maybe I'm alone in this but I much prefer the limited edition or the normal edition to the dominion core book. The art is good but too busy for a cover imo and the lack of a cover title freaks me out. Do you think there will be a large number of players wanting that version on ebay based on previous editions? Would love to get the dominion box and then swap my book

I love the soulbound art. I find it a lot more full of character than the stuff in battletomes personally

I for one love the idea of a duardin soup. I just maybe don't trust GW to do it justice currently. I like mismatched armies with people of different background and ideological standpoints working together for a common goal. To me personally it looks better on a table and in art than hordes of the same unit. In an ideal world there would be three subfactions and a soup faction. FS, KO, Dispossessed and altogether. Dispossessed would get immediate new models to act as a bridge between the other two very different aesthetics. KO could be very clearly positioned in the lore to be working as allies to the other duardin and respect Grungni as a person while not praying to him. My issue is if GW throw the current models together without new ones. I felt a little cheated by warclans because it didn't come with anything new. Or if they suddenly say that the KO blindly follow their new god.

I'm very confident that some of these rumours are the grotbag scuttlers just based on how they look to me. So confident in fact, that I've just ordered a kharadron army to fight against them. If I'm proved wrong I'll eat my hat and/or my kharadron.

I think you're onto something there Edit: In fact the more I think about the previous rumour engines the more I think you're right. The hook hand was pirate-y enough but we also have a big piece of netting if I remember right? Why use a little grot netter when you can cast a massive one off of your airship?

I think the model looks really cool bar the giant horn growing out of them (never been a fan of that particular chaos attribute). I'm really happy anytime we get more female models. Just wondered. Is there any female orruks or grots? And can we expect any gender diversity in the new 3.0 destruction army/units? I'm aware there's a troggoth hag so not sure if it's out of the question.

Can't believe I didn't spot those three eye holes. Think I just zone out to skulls because GW throw them everywhere. Does anyone know any three eye races?

Greetings from Northern Ireland! Been a lurker here for a few years now. Long time observer of the hobby in general. My dad got into 40k after playing the first Dawn of War so I've always been exposed to some form of warhammer. It wasn't until I saw shadespire in a shop that I really got hooked on fantasy/AoS. I've bought most warbands that have come out in the past few years but they're such nice models that I'm scared to paint them! Have finally bought myself a pack of Orruk Brutes to have a wee go at painting. I've seen a few conversions online without the front panel of their armour so I think I'll try to imitate that. Also going to find/make a nice flag to go on one of them because flagbearers are essential imo (and we Northern Irish do love our flegs). Really hoping for a new destruction race in 3.0!

As cool as I think that could be, (I'm thinking the big Zandalari golems from Warcraft), I'd rather save that space entirely for a duardin army. I'd really like Grungni to stop working for Sigmar and forge his own path. While I'd really like a new destruction race, I'll happily settle for a Duardin vs. Greenskins narrative in 3.0.

I think the same and hopefully this will be the last edition to feature stormcast in the starter since they've now fought against every grand alliance. Having two different armies each time is just a breath of fresh air. Never played fantasy but always remember the high elf vs. Skaven box set which seemed so much more interesting

As someone with lots of assorted seraphon models I have a wee bit of hope that they might get an update at some point in the near future. It certainly looks like Kragnos considers them to be his main enemy. If Kragnos' race were to return maybe we could see a boxed kit against the lizards? Maybe there's hope for saurus that don't look like they're squatting over a toilet seat
