no info about skaven on monday ? suspicious yes-yes

Gw has a tendency lately to leave 1 elite infantry untouched when redoing a line, see seraphon with temple guard and sbg with grave guard. No idea when they will update those kits. Theory floating around was that they left it for warcry update, but it has been 3 years since sbg was released and we still have them.. they will 100% be updated since we got the test models through WHU and I hope its pretty soon

In todays gw stream they are painting new skaven and stormcast if you want to check them out 😊

Damn those look great, the best stormcast so far. I hope we get more humans with them. That would suit the army much more as elite warriors and their court. I hope we get more „religious” stormcast and new flagellates !

It’s nothing new, we had 2 heroes locked in vs boxes a while ago. Now they made boxes that are less splittable but more targetable.

I was really surprised they shown the same miniature as 3 years ago. Then I saw he carries a hammer instead of a spear and has a slightly different helmet. Should have been and upgrade sprue.. The thing I feared after watching new edition trailer is that we only saw 3 new stormcast and the rest was old with different weapons. If they release almost the same box with hammers instead of spears might skip it and get skaven on eBay.

Ok by gathering all the bread crumbs from Whitefang has left here is my theory: In The latest skaven short story we learned that the skaven warlock cooked up a soul blasting gun. What if it prevents stormcast from reforging or even kills their souls. That why Sigmar has to use death company to fight skaven. The only stormcast that are not afraid of dying. This also works well with death as protagonist since if skaven are killing souls there are none left for Nagash. That should get him angry and moving 😉

Kroot box will come around adepticon same as Seraphon box did. They won’t release it before showing the rest of the range. If I remember correctly Seraphon box was announced first weekend after adepticon and I would assume same release window for Kroot.

I call ****** on that 3rd place. There is no way a tau with sword is better then any of Aos centerpieces released this year. #rigged 🤪

I think we will only see contents of new army Box that will release in January. They will do another preview after new year to show off rest of the army. Dawnbringers 4 is probably coming after lvo.

Really na Katakros in OBR?! Would be an insta buy for me. Seraphon box is great, all new models with a big discount, might pick it up. I didn’t count the € value in 40 k battle forces but just glancing at them they seems to be superior to Aos.

You assume 5 books ? Lately I’ve been thinking book 4 might be the last one and chaos related.

In the article they mention vaguely that other metal heroes and special unit will be available to mo at launch. I do wonder tho is they will get rules or not. I guess since for potential customers those old plastic kits hold up ok they didn’t want to show the rest of the range which looks much worse. I hope for TK they will redo the basic troops cause those skeletons look derpy.

That might be true for kill team but from warcry perspective those boxes were available long after release. Maybe the solution would be to make more kill team boxes ? 😉

So kill team is following warcry in splitting the big box into two with a 25% price increase if you want to get both. I hope they go back on this decision..

It was a small preview for 40 years of warhammer hype. Guess we have to wait till next year for bigger releases

Yeah I reeeeally wonder who is going to buy those old models. Unless they are going to keep the prices low for the old models it might be a flop

Of course, I was hoping for 1 unit tho. I think they are showing releases that are happening before the end of this year. Great models for Bretonia, might use those foot knights in CoS 😊
