  1. Not a lot comment here about V3. I don't want to go into details about the new rules. There are too much changes and I guess nobody tested it enough. But on a general first impression : which unit / hero / nation / spell will benefit of the new mechanisms? Which one are downgraded? I'll try to quickly answer with what I've seen. Feel free to disagree or add : Alarith / stoneguard because of the loss of the bataillon Hurakan / windcharger because of the loss of the bataillon Hurakan spirit compared to Sevireth because he is not a hero (Sevi +50 cost was already worth it) Syar (just a bit) because you cannot use anymore the CA twice per phase (so no more 3 aetherquartz) Shrine because it can be destroyed by monsters (we need to be careful when setting it up) Loreseeker because he cannot get 2+ save with reroll if 1 (less survability I presume) Every hero/monster obviously. Maybe Teclis cost will be raised like Nagash/Alarielle? Illyatha for their native ability to double CA without paying any CP Sentinels because of the so powerful CA to counter charge
  2. Nope. The minimum value is 1. You should really read the Lumineth FAQ. The sequence is perfectly explained. 😉
  3. Ho yes. Very well spot. I thought it was for any wizard! let me know what do you think when you finished your game please 😉 and yes I think Calligrave is the only hero that can garrison!
  4. Yes you are right. There are some examples where there are multiple rules in one ability. But as you said there are using words like « moreover ». Maybe I’m wrong for the loreseeker. We’ll see. It means you have to setup the shrine in your territory with 12’ of the loreseeker who will be in ennemy territory so don’t apply to any scenario. But why not! I guess I’ll keep it on my side to send Total Eclipse or stabilize other spells. But thanks for your input. We are agree it don’t worth to garrison it. Very limited experience as you said. May be other players will have different point of view. But I’ll surely use it again. Because he handled more than 450 points on his own.
  5. Has anyone played enough game with shrine to discuss about it? I used it 3 times and I don't know what to think about it. I'm not sure it worth to keep a guardian. Ok, re-rolling 1 for sentinels is valuable but it was almost the only impact my guardian had on the game because he was too far from action. On some scenario we can set it at 6' from set-up zone (still in our territory) so in that case the hero will be quite close to fights, but I think it is very hard to protect him then. I think next time I'll just put one hero inside T1 to benefit of free CA on sentinels, and large re-roll for cast on T2 and will move him out of garrisoning on T2. What do you think?
  6. I only used Sevireth once and I was really happy about what he did. Indeed he don't have a huge damage output on it's own. But during the whole game he totally blocked 2 units of 3 Kurnots (killed some), killed an arch-revenant and destroyed a wyldwood. But indeed he will not take objectives very well.
  7. Thank you very much @Yondaime We are still testing AOS and our new armies so he'll go more casual. I know he like having a lot of ships with max people inside (I think it is maybe normal KO deployment). I don't have Teclis so I'll have to find other way to protect my Lulu. We are going to play with 1500pts. Thank you very much for your advices. I'll try to work on a list and let you know.
  8. About Lone agent rule I really can't believe what I read I need to review all the warscrolls to see if I can extract a sentence out of his context and use it as separate rule Anyway : any help please for a fight agains KO! I think I have no chance but if you have some advice please shout. Do I go first or second? Do I use shining company to give him -1 or try to do some long corded unit to protect my heroes? Did you try Loreseeker with geminid to give him -1 or is it just 160pts away on T1? Is Alumnia to take objectives early is a good option (and run+charge)? Or simply syar to try surviving on T1/T2? Thanks!
  9. Yes but lone agent is about setting up the model at the first round. The part you are extracting is not a new paragraph. It’s in the same paragraph so this is one and only one rule. You are right but Lumineth is not the new Stormcast. Only Stormcast benefit of such care from GW. This is Stormcast again who will be in new V3. I think they have plenty BG to update before releasing new Lulu wave 😉
  10. Guys I think you are dreaming. 😉They will never add Tyrion, the river and zenith temple (with heavy cavalry, chariot, eagles, Phoenix, helberds and new heroes and units) into the already huge set of units we have. I hope I’m wrong. But I really think they will do either splitting with 2 separate BT like Morathi/Malerion or make the lore making him ally with Malerion.
  11. Nope and nope. 😅 the lone agent rule begins with « instead of setting this model... if you do it at the beginning of the first round... ». You take the objective only using the lone agent rule. Not otherwise! (Sorry J only have the French version so don’t know the exact term. But it is pretty clear.
  12. Yes you are right. We are lucky it is only 30. But 8 is not so high with Zaitrec or 1/2 aetherquartz or reroll from the shrine or from Helon ability, or with deep thinker.
  13. Did you test adding the windmage in such list? I really think it is super strong with stoneguards for the TP spell. Please note that Avalenor ability is not an aura of protection but a malus given to ennemies. So this is opponent model that must be within 12". It doesn't work against shooting or if your stoneguards are at the edge of the bubble
  14. The rule as it is now is less confusing. I don’t have my BT now but approximatively before it was « -2 if you are in the 3 inches » (which was very confusing if you was not at the beginning of the phase and you enter in the 3, literally meaning you should change from 3 to 1 in the same phase 😀). And now it’s « when you start the pile-in in the 3 inches ». This is more explicit like that
  15. Thanks for the feedback. I’playing against KO next week. So I just hope my opponent will do such mistake to target my -2/-3 to hit hero. But he won’t 😅 Any advice please let me know? I don’t know yet if I rather go syar and let him start to deploy against TP. Or take Alumnia and just go straight to block him in his side. how was Sevireth? What did you do with him? I’m just afraid he is not good against shooting army and will just be killed T1, no?
  16. Not really unfortunately. Because you cannot escape from the shrine as a normal move. If you are garrisoning you can just go out setting up your hero a 6’ of the shrine instead of moving (no matter your move is).
  17. Which ennemy did you fight, and how did you deny alpha strike with the pre-move? Very interesting feedback. I don't understand how the regent even with sanctum can tank a whole KO shooting phase and even so why the KO target the regent while he can probably alpha strike Teclis or Severith? The shrine setup rules are described in the BT on the left page : 1" from other terrains, 6" from objectives. During my games, it was not so great as it was quite far from the action. So leaving a cathalar was absolutely not an option. I was thinking as well he is fighting something related to Slaanesh with Malerion maybe. Malerion has a huge part in lumineth lore. And nothing has been announced/revealed for Malerion, as per Tyrion. So I was sadly thinking that maybe they can be in the same BT. I really thing we already have a huge BT in Lumineth and they will never add Tyrion and the tyrionic units. So maybe something about a corrupted Tyrion + Malerion and a new Umbraneth/Shadowneth faction! just speculation
  18. ... and I like being able use the command ability from the shrine even if it is set-up far from the fight.
  19. Yes I had a game 2 days ago against legion of Nagash. And I liked a lot this nation!! The extra move was great. I played no sentinel. Being able to move wardens to take quickly objectives without breaking shining company and just wait enemy charge is awesome (specially with the extra -1 to hit from Avalenor, thanks to the folk who advise me that). Being able to move the dawnriders of 42+3D6 is awesome. the game was pretty easy for me. But please note it was a 1000pts game. Maybe with more points it become difficult to keep the bubbles properly!
  20. Thank you for this very good advise. Even if ethereal+speed+shield look to be like every eggs 🥚 in the same cow 😉 I want to play Avalenor now Can you make this nation exciting to me? Because as this it looks to be the only nation that I don’t want to try. +2bravery is quite useless with Cathallar, Calligrave and native bravery, no?
  21. Do you play cows without stoneguard/stonemage/alarith? I’m wondering if it worth to include it only for itself without more synergy.
  22. Yes indeed with falling objective you’ll have an option down. But I think he is very good harassing the ennemy as well. It is a real headache for the opponent setup. He will always be able to set up near a fragile unit like artillery or hero and kill him before being killed. Moreover no player is happy to have such dude deployed in his flank/back. So will always loose 2 turns to attack him.
  23. Because of the 6 objectives and the 3 skavens hole I had to set up in the angle 😒 T1 the wizards in the range had cast the spell easily. I used the reroll of 1 on sentinels. But T2 everyone was already to far 😅
