  1. Of course - I've seen quite a few people do this over the years, so it's not my idea 😀. I first saw it done by someone called Nightmare on the Ogre Stronghold forum/website (now sadly gone) around 2014 probably, but only just got round to doing it!
  2. Some ogors with orc / Ork heads, playing with poses a bit and adding some greenstuff fur and horns to the helmets. Lots of painting work to go on these! They are v. rough at the moment, but I like adding variety. The characters also need some work, pics another time.
  3. This is Mollog the Mighty from Stormbringer magazine. I read that he was an unusually short Dankhold Troggoth, and so decided to lengthen him a bit. Sprue extensions were added to stomach, arms, legs and club and then covered with greenstuff and milliput. I bulked out his face a bit based on pics of a "normal" Dankhold. Some press molded details (oyumaru) were replicated and added to the club and the legs.
  4. Brilliant work, so creepy and imaginative, really expands the boundaries of the hobby
  5. Such joyful colour in your work, and so beautifully executed regardless of the army (though I particularly like the Lord of Change)
  6. These are terrific, great work. Eyes particularly drawn to the cloth on the skeletons
  7. That's a fine army! I love the colours of the squigs, the stone floor basing, the command group and the converted mangler squig boss!
  8. Hello all, long time lurker. I was a fan of WFB in the 90s and had some badly painted chaos warriors and knights but no one to play with. I tried to resurrect things as an adult during 8th Ed and spent hours on eBay trying to collect an Empire army, just before it all ended. Then I had kids! Now they've grown a bit and I've decided to go for Destruction and maybe one day even play at my LFGS. Some pics of a conversion project to begin with, will take some of my Ogors with Ork heads (an old trick but a good one I feel) another time. Also working on conversions of some 2nd Ed Space Orks, making them a bit more dynamic. Grateful for any advice, suggestions or feedback.
  9. Ahh, so no need to host elsewhere and insert links etc? OK!
  10. Or do people just link to the Gallery on this site? Or social Media accounts? Sorry for all the noob questions.
  11. A Brutal, cohesive looking army! The face and pose of the battle tortoise make it look really predatory, it's a very creative centrepiece.
  12. Seconded, this is incredible! Really curious about the rest of the army and what you'll play them as.
  13. Sorry to be 'that guy' but can anyone point me to an image hosting guide for the TGA site? Is like to start a WIP/progress log for my painting and conversions but wasn't sure if people use something like photo bucket or what. Thanks!
