So, as I've stated before I don't plan to go above 1k for a while (till wave 2 gets out at least). It looks like my LGS has two boxes of wardens and one dawnriders. I'm for sure getting one Warden but should i get the other or the dawn rider? The rest of the army will be 20 archers, a stonemage and a spirit of the mountain. I'm leaning towards dawn riders myself. Plan is to go Ymetrica just fyi.

Personally I'd like to see double turns gone. They're just a feel bad mechanic when its used against you. Morale needs to be reworked as well, coming from 40k i kinda like the new mechanic they're using but its not perfect either. The new secondary stuff from 40k could be fun too just so factions can play differently and still have a chance to win. In all honesty aside from double turns, as someone who is coming from 40k to AoS I enjoy almost everything else.

The models are just amazing, even the first wave. I can't wait to see what the new stuff will look like. I just wish we knew when they would be out. it'll be hard sticking to 1k till they come out if they'll be a while.

I was indeed planning on Alarith I love Geomancy thanks to Final Fantasy Tactics so the theme of them really gets me. I figure speed might be an issue but at 1k I doubt I'm going to run into too many people who'll just sit back. I do want some stone guard too! I love their looks, matter of fact i pretty much love the look of everything in this army. I just want wave two already so I can see everything LRL will have to offer!

So I'm brand new to AoS (though i've played 40k for a few years) and I want to dip my toes into LRL I'd like to do about 1k till the second wave comes out and then make a full 2k list, my current 1k idea is: 1x Alarith stonemage (enduring, mountain's gift, and Crippling Vertigo) 20x Sentinels 10x wardens 10x wardens 1x Spirit of the Mountain Looking for general feedback.
