  1. If anyone is interest in creating something together and to make your own mark on warhammer creatively and open to the community just send me a private message about anything about this and we can go from there. This is purely community collaboration and out of free time to post here on TGA as individuals. Shout out to the mods if they are interested in making it official here to post as a public category anyone can use and post their own ideas to share if they wish.
  2. I'm sorry all this negativity has come to pass and I don't blame you at all, I'm feeling fairly burned myself. Take all the time you need, If GW somehow disappears in 2 weeks which I doubt, there will always be warhammer in some form waiting if you choose to return. But there's always a chance to create whatever you want to do with warhammer, GW's vision is never your own right?
  3. Thought I'd just bring this back here since its picked up more notice than I thought. GW saying nothing is saying enough to me personally. Comments or advertisement about themselves ( any company) as a company and 'community supporter' cares about the community as a whole are what they feel are never real to me at least. A company does not feel anything, but as people inside they do, and are deciding what this company does as a collective. If you are someone who believes in changes, get out there and prove change can come. Posting here is not enough action for change if you feel it is. Just more talk like this post. Covid-19 has made it difficult for many people, but its never impossible. Make change now, don't expect it tomorrow morning
  4. Keep in mind this is part of advertisement they use, they know its killing world building. GW are not opening it up for interest, they are pretty much trying to pause the growth for whatever reason it may be. Sure I could speculate on it being about doing other projects and in other media's we are going to see next year.
  5. What heads in particular I may ask for? The eight bladed stars has made enough of a mark on my soul to fathom even the most grotesquely designed. Joke aside I cant list enough from memory I cannot force others to glare at anymore. At least its not as dated as early 80s LOTR sculpts. I dare show this anymore lol
  6. Hey thank you for reading. No problem, are there specific points I should clarify?
  7. As many have done personal tests and have given feedback about each of these. I would like to claim support to isopropyl alcohol if it is cheaply accessible. I've tried everything available to me for plastic stripping, Hard truth is we need more R&D into taking off primers without outright damaging the plastics. I would not recommend anything above your price threshold out of my own experiences with at least 40 different products in Canada. Usually plastics with a purposely thinned prime should be okay for general paint stripping, but after that point it's mostly just elbow grease scrubbing. Whatever works through testing, I use a brush or like friction tools. I highly suggest you test it on different models before you get right into scrubbing the chaotic influence clean from the host!
  8. Just curious if there are any updates regarding the Night theme coming in the foreseeable future before I consider further browser changes? I appreciate support that can further develop this. If there are additional ways myself or others in the community give specific feedback directly about Night mode I wish to do so.
  9. Currently still in the rough design phase for my 3.0 update. Would like to know the opinions of " possessed", For example dominated animals used by the spirits to be unwilling vessels of their raw power? I will say the bonesplittaz are personally a massive missed opportunity with the amount of unused content in AOS 1.0 and continued into 2.0 Warclans book. I know everyone is anxious about the 3.0 Warclans book. My personal delving has been eye opening the past week. Hopefully I can provide some content for them as an individual culture they implied them to be in the past.
  10. Personal Thoughts: Ruleset and models, how to continue without updates ( Never alone here ) I believe GW knows they cannot figure out a way to sustain the game so they want to put it on the backburner for content they make. Hopefully they will consider community data paramount if they intend to continue support for the board games a few years down the road. No AOS FAQ and silence as the community is speaking out about the game, usually implies they are aware but don't have a solution. Perhaps the expectations that the community cares more than they do has become a commonly spoken opinion everyone wants to share because they will not "listen to our ideas". With my previous post I talked about personal preferences, well as most know they usually never follow directly in line with your own wishes. So most of us may already know this, what can we do to actually adapt to this? I have personally found that boundaries of our personal expectations need to be challenged by our own needs and wants. Here was my hard lesson: Ever get a direct ticket on the hype train and end up with boxes of untouched plastic? Yeah hundreds of my own git teef only to get to the destination of disappointment. Some of us have been here and it sucks, you don't know what to do or how to even begin getting around to a solution! I did this for years and bought into my own beliefs that this is in my best interest to be in Warhammer. Wasn't until Covid-19 Pandemic started, Life hit me like a truck. I wont go into further details as many of us are deeply affected by this wake up call pandemic. Point is we have our own experiences and hard lessons to learn and survive with and Warhammer is one to some like myself. This was especially true considering most of what I got over time eventually faded from getting any support. But sometimes this is just inevitable when new things come, how would you quantify the choice of either the new vs old? Truth is both I think! But not the way you might think. I have my own views about spending and I bet each of you do too, but who cares? GW might in some aspects but that's another topic I encourage explored in your own way and always grow! Oi Git! I own my expectations! but I don't know where to go from here Organize what you like on something tangible like paper can often be a decent way to keep an idea but allow space for fresh ideas to improve them. Typing them out or even just going right into writing your own rules. Whatever works with you, ideally the process can grow to suit your own wants and desires for your vision. This is has been said and done as its how to be artistic! But this but one road to explore and devise personal change. Notice I did not mentioned a tangible direct path to choose? Yeah there are no right ones, just "better" ones. And they are always changing and improving, we should be no different in the aspect of our enjoyment. And remember, Nurgle craves stagnation! This was my Git-Talkz
  11. Hope that one day most will understand that it means more than just a social movement, its part of life and should be accepted. But as much as we can all talk about it we can show this through the hobby and other means any can access. It would mean much to the community. I appreciate all of your support towards this comment. Maybe we can start a community project? Message me if you are interested. I will try to organize something.
  12. What would make it interesting to you if you could make personalized changes to make it less of a chore? This is not to discount what you feel, I can say I find many parts utterly annoying and just less accessibility to people than some other hobbies have evolved in time. What would you remove or change from the processes, the tools, materials, etc?
  13. A lot of games will include this statement across ranges because its how they can gage interest in future plans. However it doesn't mean anything will be coming or will not be. Treat it like a blanket statement for encouraging people who have thoughts about the product to share their thoughts. Nothing malicious or insightful I think.
  14. More paywalled patch fixes worth continuing though? Sure its gonna be free online after a few days because of a leak rip, but GW knows that.
  15. To follow this up with my curiosity, what about your opponents from your perspective, are there specific circumstances you found in games where the rules are highlighted in favor of a player or faction?
  16. This is not something new unfortunately, its been around for as long as people have been purposely stealing or just cutting corners out of greed.
  17. Hello everyone, as some have been curious about my stormcast remake I thought I would share it here if anyone is interested and/or have their own ideas, I would like to hear 'em! Thank you,
  18. Do you remember how this was handled in 40k? I don't miss most chaos books to be honest. More than just the rules, the designs they kept updating and fixing left them becoming confused about chaos and scrapped most of it.
  19. A huge thing that makes wargaming interesting to me at least: doing what you want to do with any and all tools provided, not the tunnel vision strats obviously outlined in several books, especially before they are out, to influence the vision GW wants you to play with and deal with it. Its obvious with current player data, a lot of people are dissatisfied with how this is being handled in games especially played exactly as designed and intended. I would hypothesize they will do a shift sometime spring 2022 to deal with stagnation in list building but I personally believe they will not be designed with a focus intuition in mind still. I would like to hear everyone's thoughts about the current command list selection and if they would like to see changes to the way they are given to units. Aura's too big? inconsistent? maybe how accessible they are to some factions?
  20. Unfortunately many people are both on unstable ground for certainty out of their investments to GW and also unwilling or unable to create ideas and share thoughts to make improvements of their own if their trust cannot be earned by GW. Peoples own enjoyment and self respect only too often forgotten in times of uncertainty. Shouldn't blame others on managing expectations more than your own. We've all got our own views on how the game should be, its always going round and round here on this forum, this isn't the place for this and we have more threads here and ideas in everyone's heads to make new ones. I for one have been trying to change my own views and expectations out of the hobby and beyond with warhammer, its not easy, but I feel I've been somewhat more satisfied with the progress.
  21. From my own personal observations and playtime of various games in 40k and aos, I'll attempt to keep my thoughts organized here. GW fully understands random people in the community playing with these pre-curser rules they will eventually change after enough complaints can provide them better ways of testing their ideas. Not the first time and not the last time anyone has done this, I wouldn't look too far into this, it just comes down to how they feel ideas would work vs the experimentation and other various testing they use or don't use to create systems. I don't know how I feel about this considering my own viewpoints about communication practices to the community and testers who are neither sponsored or chosen by GW to do anything specific for the community. 2D board sizes can take a bit of work to balance because terrain and objectives can create "enough" 3D planes to provide tactical options but importantly spontaneous ideas to make your army survive or perish in these alternating conditions. As many already know about the GW standard for AOS & 40K and the " official tournament rules" groups will make to fit the bill or their own balancing to mitigate some problematic issues with this because they are too open or closed off to many who feel its just a band aid fix instead of looking at mission sets and that not every army will exploit the same advantages as another of the same faction but different units for example. So with all this in mind, do you feel this should be looked at or left alone? wait and let the dust settle like usual? Leave it up to you to think about. I'll continue to explore how to develop 3.0 further through my own ideas and experiences with skirmish games and the franchise. I feel board sizes should be treated at the same time as missions and simply having 3 board sizes most will likely not used as intended does not have a long shelf life in my eyes. But this not about hating on GW or practices, just to get people thinking of their own games a different way. Constructive ideas and collaboration to improve Warhammers designs could be something we've needed to solidify creative interest.
