What are those little ingots?

Finally have some pictures of my cairn diorama. The cairn is built and just needs a hill built over and around it. First two pics don't have the lid so the LEDs can be seen. Any light leaking through seams will be covered by landscaping. The last pic has ceiling on the cairn viewing through the front entrance. Likely will be adding a Bladegheist Revenant mask floating over the well as if it is being summoned from the well's magic/energy. Built with Hirst Arts mold #263. Any questions. comments, criticisms welcome...

Been lurking around and asking some questions but don't believe I ever introduced myself. I'm not a tabletop gamer but have always been fascinated with minis - especially fantasy. Unfortunately, my vision always outstrips my ability. Looking to build dioramas. Hope to find inspiration here.

Newer to the site - there are extremely helpful people here. I've been dragging my feet on a diorama build. So I'll post here and see about getting myself motivated. Light of Eltharion vs. Liekoron and a couple Bladegheist Revenants. Scene is a cairn that is being used to summon the Revenants. Progress: Eltharion is built but not painted Still need to assemble Liekoron and the Revenants Cairn is built and is lit with LEDs. Inside the cairn is a well - 'magical' purple light is emanating from the well, blue LEDs provide ambient light inside the cairn Cairn and rest of the base still needs landscaped Will get some pics up this weekend.

What is the best place to find assembly instructions? Recently bought lots off ebay of Vanguard-Palladors and Vanari Dawnriders that both came without instructions. Thank you.

I did end up buying the re-release Archaon - now the wait for them to actually make it and ship it. I also found a nice Green Knight on ebay that made it across the pond and is now slowly moving from Chicago to Cleveland. Am fleshing out the set-up for the diorama. It is a sorcerer battle. Using a Chaos Sorcerer Lord (AoS) to summon Archaon. Then a Collegiate Battle Wizard (AoS) opposing him by summoning the Green Knight. The wizards will be in elevated positions with Archaon/Green Knight clashing in a ruined arena. Another question - any particular staff/symbol the battle wizard should use or avoid in this scenario? Or just go for what looks best to me?

Could a Scinari Calligrave cast a spell that would keep a Black Coach from flying?

I was looking to build a diorama of Tzeentch attacking a Gloomspite stronghold. How do the models of pink, blue, and brimstone horrors match up size-wise to Squigs. Thank you.

LOL, guess that was kind of a stupid question. I still have 6 days to figure out if I want to spend $50 and hope for the best. Worst case scenario, I go secondary...

I would love to do a duel diorama of Archaon vs. the Green Knight. But I don't feel the need to buy Archaon on the horse if the Green Knight isn't coming as a re-release also. Anyway we can find that out? Or is it roll the dice, buy Archaon and hope the Green Knight comes out also? Realize I can buy the Green Knight on the secondary market, but would likely pay much more than a re-release... Thank you.

Appreciate the insight Ninth. I guess you can say it is both rules and fluff. I just don't want someone looking at the diorama and saying: Not bad, too bad it could never happen...

I'll think some more on this and come back for additional insight when I'm ready to start work.

Some more details will probably help. Vanari Wardens manning the barricade with their sunmetal spears. Sisters of the Watch attacking from elevation with mystical bows. Stormsire Cursebreakers - figured Voidstorm scrolls, spirit flask, and Blessed Banishment would help counter dark magic. Probably skip the stone mage. Any additional feedback?

I'm not a gamer but an aspiring mini-painter. I want to create a diorama centered on the Black Coach with yet to be determined 'forces of good' setting up a barricade for an ambush. The reason I'm here is I don't know the rules and would like to follow them if possible.From the GW website I know the Coach can fly, but I was planning to use an Alarith Stone Mage to keep it down. One of the mage's abilities is to mess with gravity and prevent flying - but will that work with a spectral entity in the AoS universe? Does a barricade even make sense?What would be the best troops to counter an Undead convoy. Thanks in advance for any input.
