  1. Fellow Boyz! Is it just me with my careless reading of the battletome, or there are really few ways to buff the Arrowboys and their ranged attacks? This is what we have (but i'm sure there is more!): Freezing Strike (Icebone Clan's Ability) : 6 to wound = -1 rend Strength of Purpose (Drakkfoot Clan's Ability) : negate ethereal and fnp Brutal Beast Spirits (Lore of the Savage Beast) : +1 to hit KUNNIN’ RUKK (Battalion) : no explanation needed Bone Spirit (Maniak Weirdnob Spell) : 6 to hit triggers additional hit .... that's it? I excluded Big Waaagh! Allegiance bonuses purposely
  2. Hi everyone! First post in the glorious Sylvaneth den: Is it possibile to make a Kurnoth heavy list? How viable can it be? From a quick look something under Winterleaf with lots of Greatswords must be brutal to face
  3. Exactly. Same for +1 to hit bonuses to reduce the exploding hits to 4+ and so on This way spears have a reason to exist
  4. Normally i would agree with you, but nonetheless that word choice sounds dubious to me. "..2 hits are scored on an unmodified 5+ instead of 6.." would have been perfectly fine if that was the case Maybe there is some FaQ that clarify this?
  5. Question for fellow ossiarchs: Kavalos Deathriders trigger their nadrite weapons on a 5+ ti hit instead of a natural 6. Their 5+ roll must be unmodified? I have this doubt because otherwise It should be stated
  6. First of all thank you all. All your replies and feedback were really helpful. Last night i tried this Blisterskin Royal Mordants list against Fireslayers with great unexpected success. Allegiance: Flesh Eater Courts - Grand Court: Blisterskin LEADERS Abhorrant Archregent (240) - Artefact: The Dermal Robe - Lore of Madness: Spectral Host Abhorrant Ghoul King on Royal Terrorgheist (420) - Artefact: Eye of Hysh - Lore of Madness: Blood Feast - Mount Trait: Gruesome Bite Crypt Haunter Courtier (120) - General - Command Trait: Hellish Orator Varghulf Courtier (160) UNITS 9 x Crypt Flayers (510) 6 x Crypt Horrors (260) 10 x Crypt Ghouls (100) BATTALIONS Royal Mordants (120) ENDLESS SPELLS / TERRAIN / COMMAND POINTS Chalice of Ushoran (50) TOTAL: 1980/2000 WOUNDS: 105 LEADERS: 4/6 BATTLELINES: 3 (3+) BEHEMOTHS: 1/4 ARTILLERY: 0/4 ARTEFACTS: 2/2 ENDLESS SPELLS: 1/3 ALLIES: 0/400 I'm want to test this list again vs different opponents and higher tier armies to maybe bring it to the next local tournament. Courtiers were amazing to keep my two hammer blobs running and the double threat of GKRT + Flayers mob proved to be psychologically devastating for the opponent. My only doubt is that this list is still a Drop 4 and for a loadout that focus this much for a big initial alpha strike...i don't know...
  7. Really can't figure out what's the best loadout for FeC in the current meta. Blisterskin+deathwatch has been lackluster and with huge core issues because of the extreme list composition. Gristlegore with a drop 2-3 list had Better results overall but still behind many top armies (and to a degree also behind many newer armies that are right below top tier). Luckily for me i could also experiment with Hollowmourne with big walls of horrors but they are a trap. Very behind the aformentioned popular two options. Then there is Morgaunt...which i never tried but feel that since it focuses on our least efficient unit, the ghouls, is the least viable of the Grand Courts. As a bonus, i tried a lot of games with Feast Day realizing that free double attack is triggerable less often than one could hope. The real upside of this choice is a better freedom to tweak our Heroes, especially the Archregent which our strongest and most reliable piece. After something like 30+ games, most of them very competitive or in tournaments, i have no real clue on how to bring this battletome to the top.. Motivate me with your achievements!
  8. Hi everyone, next week (if Covid permits) we'll have a small tournament in our club, my very fist torunament, where each player can choose between two different Battletomes to chose their lists. My picks will be Ossiarch Bonereapers (Mortis Praetorians) & Flesh-Eater Courts (Gristlegore) Most of other players choices are going to be Legions of Nagash and Nighthaunt, and since i mostly played against Stormcast Eternals, Seraphon and Sylvaneth, i have no experience against those armies. I have a pretty good selection of units to choose from for my armies, so i can prepare my lists to face almost everything, but i have no clue on which are LoN and Nighthaunt's best or most dangerous units, how they play and which tools have my two picks to counter them efficiently. Any help? :) Thank you
