  1. Hello, fellow armor-Thors! So, I hate list building and am also bad at it. I end up just grabbing whatever models and doing poorly. I was wondering if anyone here who actually LIKES making lists might suggest a decent one (2k) to me. I currently have painted and ready to go: lord celestant on stardrake lord arcanum on tauralon lord relictor lord arcanum on gryph-charger lord castellant knight incantor knight heraldor 10 liberators (sadly the old box ones with no grandhammers) 20 sequitors 10 judicators w/ bows 9 castigators 1 ballista 3 longstrikes 5 retributors 5 evocators all the stormcast spells It feels like there should be something coherent in all that, but I haven’t found it. I should have a couple chariots too, but those preorders sure aren’t coming in, are they? Anyway, thank you in advance for considering allowing me to foist my job on you
  2. Hm. One more thought: Auralan Sentinels say: “Before attacking with Auralan Bows, choose either the Aimed or Lofted missile weapon characteristics for all shooting attacks made by this unit in that phase.” Namarti Reavers say: “Before attacking with a Whisperbow, choose either the Aimed Fire or Storm Fire missile weapon characteristics for that shooting attack.” In the (possible) absence of a universal rule on shooting modes, it seems like these two abilities are worded to work differently?
  3. I guess that’s what I’m asking. The players I was talking to said that there’s a rule that if a unit has a choice of more than one weapon profile, everyone in the unit has to choose the same one when firing. That’s the rule I can’t find, and am thinking might not exist.
  4. Hi, Warhammer friends. This question came up recently with my unit of Namarti Reavers. Fluid Firing Style” says, “Before attacking with a Whisperbow, choose either the Aimed Fire or Storm Fire missile weapon characteristics for that shooting attack.” I assumed this was done individually and had been splitting the unit so that the models in range for Storm Fire chose that and the models farther away did Aimed Fire. The players at my LGS said I couldn’t do this because when choosing a shooting mode for a unit I could only choose one mode for the whole unit. I accepted that at the time, but now am wondering, because I can’t find that anywhere in the core rules. Could someone let me know if that’s correct, and if so what the rules reference is? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi, everyone. I'm an AoS ADD guy. I already play some amount of Stormcast, Tzeentch, Idoneth, Seraphon, and Mawtribes, but I just came home from the shop with a FEC starter. I am really interested in painting up some Blisterskin guys. My question is regarding the Crypt Flayers. They same like a big part of Blisterskin, and they look fun to paint, but looking at the warscroll, they seem fairly lackluster. I'm not the most competitive player (we use points+open war cards or points+core book battle strategies in my group) but I also don't want to build and paint a bunch of Flayers if they are awful. Is there something I'm missing about them? Are Flayers good enough in a Blisterskin army? Thanks!
