So, I have painted since 2019, but still haven't started with varnish. Perhaps because I feel I can always go back and make my models better. My questions are as following: - Can you for example spray the whole model with stormshield varnish, but then add ardcoat varnish later to make the metallics more shiny, or you have to do this with brush separate? -can you paint on top of the varnish, or it's "done" when you have done that? -i have two painted armies and I think it would be the easiest to spray, but I'm open for pros and cons of spraying. Thankful for help!

I let Kenobi reply to you Isn't it better for us all to finish what we have bought instead of buying more and more models? (I just finished my Lumineth army and will now work in the dominion box and then the soulblight battlebox). I understand those that are waiting for a future expansion to their finished army though. And even those that want something particular to come out (New dark elves, wood elves, any elves, tomb kings, Brettonia (y'all probably have to wait for old world), new Skaven, new CoS, beastmen, Lizardmen and so on).

And here is the whole army. It was hard to get a good picture with them all. My camera is pretty old though! These will be the last pictures I post for now, since I'm done with the painting project :)! 2020-2021 I have a "blue color" group and a "Ymetrica color" group. Enjoy! In my last two games where we have played 3 players, the one that picked nighthaunt won. Probably because that player got to the objectives and kept scoring.... We are casual players though! But I agree,a lot of salty content here. I wish y'all happy holidays!

So... Zombies can gain new models if they kill any models. Is it thereby a (minimal) chance that they go from 20 to 200?

I gave up on my living city when the lumineth came out... But I feel its even worse now! Or wait. like someone said, its just Chaos! From CoS Errata: COALITION UNITS Coalition units do not count towards the number of Battleline units in your army. However, they do count towards the maximum number of Leader, Behemoth and Artillery units in your army. Coalition units cannot be generals, with the exception of Aventis Firestrike in a Hammerhal army. In addition, Coalition units are ignored when determining if the units in your army are from a single faction It also says in the CoS profile in the app that the Sylvaneth and Stormcast get the "living city" and Cities of Sigmar keyword.

Hard to pick... It's been so many great models this year. I did vote for Sigvald though. 2nd spot would probably be any of the cursed city heroes. And then perhaps the bladelords/loreseeker. I guess I can keep going.... Many good candidates!

I like the griffin since you get Karl Franz! It also looks more stable as a miniature compared to the dark elf dragon...

Seems like we didn't get hit hard by the nerfhammer. Sentinels up, rest down?

When they wrote "Gods" I thought they would also include the Elven gods. I like that they made eltharion cheaper. And I totally understand that sentinels got more expensive!

GW Usually uses "Steel legion drab" for their bases. But these seems to have a much darker one, but still not black. Is it Dryad bark or Rhinox Hide? Or is it something Else? Would be grateful for those that know :)!

That they release an errata shortly after a release would make an digital edition of the rules more reasonable, since the book is "old" straight away... Can anyone that are pro at the stormcast or orruk rules confirm if the errata for those books, made it to the new aos app? I guess that's alright since you get a free code there...

Last time I played, I gave my brother the wardens+sentinels army. My wood elves CoS army had no chance after a lucky round with the sentinels. Any CoS army is pretty casual though so I knew what was going to a happen. I see no problem if they raise the points for sentinels, but if they ain't lucky, then I don't find them that worth to be honest...

The sister looks way better in that color scheme compared to the citadel version. Now I've done 8 out of 10 Dawnriders. Only got the steedmaster and banner left. I have two weeks of vacation with no big plans... I should be able to finish my whole Lumineth army before 2022?!

Hmmm, I thought that it perhaps could be that high elf Phoenix thing that Malarion? Did and burned up pretty bad. Or perhaps that avatar of khaine for eldar, or perhaps the one ring in LOTR.

Yall are afraid of sentinels and the fox, but wait until you see the space Dawnrider that shoot arcane bolts!
