What’s the latest on gunhaulers? Cannon still the best option on average?

What is the driving force for a new edition? I feel like 2.0 is good and I’m not particularly keen to rebuy battletomes again yet.

Honestly I kind of appreciate the small army. Getting into 40k now is daunting at best. Keep the warscroll count low And slowly add as the game evolves over the years - and honestly, don’t be afraid to take away *ducks flak*

I agree with you, but they’re trying to open the game up to a wider audience. I don’t see the trend reversing.

I agree with you 100%. For me, nothing kills a game faster than an opponent digging through four books trying to find that rule they vaguely remember reading. With all of the expansions and everything now it only becomes more problematic. Put it all in an app and remind us of the buffs we have in place for each phase.

I’m ignorant, but I don’t see why they can’t do a run and then a “made to order” like they’re doing now. The moulds are made, the product is designed. It would completely sewer the scalper market and ensure all profit flows to them, without the potential risk. Or - open pre orders on a certain day and then announce if you haven’t ordered by day X you’ll be out of luck. Then just make that many plus a percentage extra for shops. I dunno, it seems solvable to me, more so than how it’s been.

With the release of the sacrosanct chamber, does it not feel like they’re moving in that direction? I could see one day the different chapters of stormcast be separate armies with different books, no?

That's a relief. I remember the old days of Warhammer Fantasy suffering for months and months with nothing.

Does this new 40K edition mean a likely pause on Age of Sigmar releases for a while?

My brother is trying to assemble a 2K army list for Seraphon and he'd like to include an Eternal Starhost battalion. Obviously, the individual components of that army if you follow the list would be like 4000 points. Are we interpreting this correctly? You can only use this battalion in the most massive of battles? How would you ever use some of these battalions in a regular game? Thanks!

What do you guys think they’ll do with armies like the Mawtribes? So many models are ****** resin on squares bases. Do you think they’ll fix this before moving on to 3.0?

That’s fantastic! I’d love to get both of my kids (6 & 3) into the hobby one day. My oldest is interested but doesn’t have the patience yet for it.
