  1. I dont think S2D are a great inclusion anymore (except daemon princes, soul grinders, 2 unmarked Underworld teams that get you a sorcerer and lord on daemon mount w/knight retinue). But I do love the idea I’ve seen about adding in Chineras from BoC. Those things have 4 attack profiles so benefit heavily from Bloodsecrator and Wrathmongers.
  2. Did they do a typo on Skulltaker? He’s been a unique/special character since he was created in WHFB 7th edition and throughout 2.0. Definitely a mistake. He is absolutely unique.
  3. Does Teclis have infinite range dispel? Synessa has infinite range cast and Be’Lakor’s is an ability, not a cast. “sit, booboo, sit” is an effective option for Teclis (it’s like the modern day lore of beasts spell from WHFB)
  4. So Be’Lakor, Synessa, Sigvald, 33 man unit of Blissbarbs, a couple units of Hellstriders and you have 305 points left. Maybe an exalted chariot and an endless spell?
  5. I have a bonkers, untested idea: 33 man unit of Blissbarbs in Lurid Haze and Synessa. Have them teleport, have Synessa use her spell on the hero to get +1 to hit, and a command on the archers (as needed, possibly another +1 in case the enemy has a -1 to hit). That’s 61 shots in. If you ignore Teclis, those archers can still wipe a lot of things. Maybe worth a shot? We always talk about teleporting Sigvald (use him too, if possible), but I think it should be considered to drop a huge damage dealing ranged unit in their backfield.
  6. So I bought two Verminlords, just finished painting up the second (Deceiver), largely because of the Wrath of the Everchosen list, which now discontinued usage of Verminlords. Is there any reason for me to keep my Deceiver? Or should I dump it for some Chimera’s (for Khorne army)?
  7. 1000 points: Goretide bloodsecrator bloodstoker bloodreavers with axes bloodreavers with axes Magore’s fiends Garrek’s Reavers chimera with MoK chimera with MoK unit of Reavers gets flung into a unit that is a threat to the Chimeras turn 1, rest of army moves up, pop chimeras into units turn 2 and watch bloodbath ensue. If I actually get 8 BT points built up, summon ‘Thirster of Insensate Rage. Not sure much is surviving that at 1000pts. Underworld bands for cheap BT points, a dispel caddy, and artillery hunting.
  8. Fair. But that’s a LOT of green stuff and time. Troggy isn’t too expensive (if you sell off the others from box) and has a lot of similarities to seekers. Probably best to remove the arms though for accuracy. I was lazy.
  9. Threw together real fast a JuggerLord with 3 units of MS for battleline, 2 units of Chaos Knights and 2 units of Varanguard are 1565pts. 435pts still gives you options, and no allies have been used. Priest for bronzed flesh and allied wizard for mystic shield?
  10. I know some people used to do JuggerLord with Skullcrushers for Battleline and Varanguard of Khorne. Maybe a mix of Varanguard and Chaos Knights?
  11. Why not just use a Seraphon Troglodon? That’s what I did. Easy, minimal conversions needed (although I kept the arms)
  12. Sigvald synessa w/Cogs two units of hellstriders dread Pagent. just under 1k and I would feel comfortable dropping that on a table
  13. Second putting in Fecula. She costs the same as a regular sorcerer (pre update anyway), has better stats, comes with 2 bodyguards that she can push 50% of wounds onto, can heal every cast and could cast lifeswarm for more heals as needed. Talk about a caster who isn’t going anywhere.
  14. Isn’t a KoS “pillow fisted” by common complaint these days? Sounds like an exalted bladebringer chariot would actually be scarier

  16. I’m confused; how did destiny dice kill your charge? It affects their rolls, not yours. Unless they retreated with them.
  17. Slightly Untrue. Godsworn or Khagra’s Ravagers are both options. Or allied Bray Shaman/Maggotkin sorc.
  18. Do you have any anti-magic? Khorne has a lot (Karanak, Riptooth, Scyla, WoK thirster, etc). Or Goretide and slam a Goretide 30man BW unit in his face in a single shot (19-31” threat range)
  19. I don’t think DP breaks the game at low points. Less units on the table, you generate way less DP. 600pt game is going to have 3-4 max units per side, and unless everything gets hit in that turn (unlikely), you’ll only generate a few DP. I think you’ll see 12 by turn 3 at best. One KoS or 30man unit of daemonettes shouldn’t break the game.
  20. The Spellportal now lets you fling an endless through it right away, right? Where it didn’t work that way previously, I just don’t remember the reason. Or maybe it just wasn’t good to send one through before. Don’t remember.
  21. Khorgas and Scyla both have an 8” pile-in, which is incredible at giving the finger to Unleash Hell. In addition, Goretide Blood Warriors and Bloodreavers have an average threat range of 24” and 25” respectively (using a Bloodstoker). MSU favors Khorne because units die quicker for BT points. And with minimal point increases compared to others, I’m confident Khorne is making out well this edition. Cheap chaff is also good if you want to press the BT route; look to Underworld Warbands for that (Magore’s for 3 Warriors and a dispel hound, Wurmspat ally for mystic shield that’ll give up two BTs and refuses to die without serious effort).
  22. Cool. It does fit and I have room for a spawn even (makes it 2k even) horrible? Awesome? You guys decide. I don’t own (or want) 33 Blissbarbs. Lol
  23. Oooo, I got it. Run Syn with the Contorted Epitome to cast Cogs, 2 Infernal Enrapturesses, 2 soul grinders and 3 units of Blissbarbs. What’s the worst that could happen? edit: forgot Grinders are coalition and the limitations. Maybe a second IE and Dread Pagent brings the list to 1980.
  24. It’s a small thing, but Magore’s and Garrek’s squads are both Goretide; take the Goretide army, throw in a Stoker, and send them after small artillery pieces or wizards. Both units will mulch crew/wizards. Or even Skaven Weapon Teams. If you can only Unleash Hell once/turn, make them throw it away on a tiny unit. With a smaller board, Goretide-flung units of Reavers and Blood Warriors (Garrek and Magore count for these) are going to be great. 5-6” move, 9” run (stoker bonus+goretide flat 6”), 2D6+3” charge. And re-roll to wound rolls. They’re solid wizard hunters and they look unassuming.
