The battle mage options are imo a little too 'good guy' looking for a chaos sorcerer (lots of soft edges, very clean looking). Personally I think he'd look cool with a Bloodreaver closed helm and dagger.

Looking great. I was never crazy on the KoS mini, but it's amazing what a bit of suble green stuffing and a great paintjob's done for it. Only critique would be the model's original hands looking a bit big by modern standards, but the ace way you've painted the nails more than makes up for it.

iirc sometime around the release of the Sylvaneth battletome and General's Handbook GW said they'd explore unique allegiance abilities for the factions with an existing battletome at some point in the foreseeable future. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember an "Allegiances of the Realms" book ever being mentioned, and think it's probably more likely that new allegiances will start to appear in whatever future campaign books succeed the Realmgate Wars, in the same way that 40k armies with hardback codexes released before 7th edition started getting detachments and formations to bring them up to speed with the 7th edition codexes in campaign supplements like Shield of Bhaal.

Great thread, haven't seen Mydas in years. You've done an amazing job on him, especially his face and the gem on his hat.

Duncan also said he was going home to paint Bretonnians and that it was 'controversial' in the web stream. My prediction is that AoS is axed an WFB is brought back with all the previous armies in two months.
