  1. Thanks, that's really helpful! All advice welcome, unsolicited or othewise. I'd planned for an hour per round, and on using total warband value (inc unspent gold) as the score for each round. That should hopefully pick up any anomalies caused by dice, but you want that flavour as that's the whole point of narrative gaming, i feel. I'm going to use similar award categories to yours. My narrative award is going to be based on the completion of a narrative checklist similar to that for the SCGT narrative hijack. Finally, I'm going to make some Sigmar-flavoured 'purity seals' for spot prizes. Hopefully, it'll be some fun!
  2. Hi all. I'm planning on running a Hinterlands Campaign day in May, playing through all five of the scenarios in the pack. To help with planning the timings for the day, can anyone offer advice as to average game length for the various battleplans? I'll have played through each of them at least a couple of times before the event, although not enough to get a sense of how long each 'should' take to play. Any advice/ thoughts greatly appreciated.
  3. I've just noticed that Stormcast warscrolls such as the Vanguard Wing are showing as 'unavailable' in the app; any ideas what's going on?
  4. Okay, I can't find an answer to this elsewhere on the forum, but apologies if I've missed it. if you have two units of Gryph hounds and a unit of Judicators and an enemy unit triggers the 'warning cry' ability, does the unit of Judicators get to fire twice, as the 'warning cry' ability is triggered twice? I agree that it's odd, but the wording of the rules seems to indicate this is what happens. If the two hounds were in the same unit, it would only trigger once though. What do you guys think?
  5. Cool, thanks for the reply. I have three sets of the basic box, so I planned to buy a liberators box and kit-bash the options on to the base models. With the price of the 'start collecting' box (after discount), I may as well get one of these!
  6. Hi, apologies if this is elsewhere, but I couldn't seem to find an answer here. Does this set contain all the weapon options for the miniatures, or just those shown in the box art? Thanks in advance, Steve

  8. Hi all. I've been wargaming on and off for 30 plus years, using a range of systems but always returning to GW after a while. I don't have much time to play or paint nowadays, so I need a game I can pick up and put down and still feel I can do ok at; AoS fits that bill Also, I love the over the top nature of the universe, where you can let your imagination go wild and still feel you're in keeping with the tone of the game.
