Good point, I agree on almost everything

I'm a bit disappointed. I try to explain (sorry for my poor english). Models are interesting, and well detailed. But seems to me the fantasy version of a 40k army (almost necron, or halfway necron/tyranid). At first impression is something that will never fit with the rest of my undead army (almost skeletons). Except Morghast of course. War machine and scenic are nice, by the way. I'm almost sure I won't play the new faction by itself. Adding units to my Grand Host of Nagash (if it will be admitted by game rules of course!) , I'm not sure. To be honest, models in the photo Dracan posted looks better than previous pictures. Probably I need some time to watch new models better

Well, maybe I will wait to hear the news tomorrow morning when I'll wake up (I'm from Italy). But my new avatar is ready, and the credit card too!!

You could also think to glue spears in the back of skeleton swordsmen (maybe previously cutting hands from the spears) and put the ‘true’ skeleton spearsmen in the front lines. So the wysiwyg is respected, I read it somewhere else in tris forum, and seems to be a very good solution

Thank you Rune for sharing your army wip and the blackout report. It’s not easy to have such an accurate battile report to understand how our legion is on the table. I took from your post a lot of interesting points to think about. And wait to see how your army will envolve for next tournaments !

Is nightfall pack battalion a thing? On a fluffy side I'm very intrigued from an army with Manfred, skeletons, some vargheists and maybe even a terrorgheist. But I'm not sure the battalion Worth its points

This is the army I dream of! And with the news about grave guard I was considering something like this: - one 40 skeletons blobs with spears and two 10 skeletons units with swords (I guess no points for a second 40 skeletons unit..) - 30 grave guards with two hand weapon - one giant skeleton (the Reaper Miniatures Bones one, just ordered): mercenary giant? - black knights deathmarch battalion - some necromancers, and of course a wight king. As big hero, I was considering a converted skelly/vampire lord on zombie dragon (maybe a converted Arkhan the Black, or the old GW metal necromancer on horse) - plus, if there are points, every endless spell useful for moving faster the army on the table . What do you think of the list, my undead friends? And what legion? Host of Nagash, for grave guards battleline, or legion of sacrament for magic and extra move?

Charlo, I love your army, nice theme (and colors!), and some very nice conversions (consider stolen a couple of ideas..). May I ask you a photo of the vampiric corpse cart?

I like a lot your list, there are all models I love! May I ask you if the black coach choice is for the beautiful model, or if is there a specific tactic for it? And which battalion did you choose?

Anyone is using Mantic Games dwarfs as Dispossed? I mean, games workshop ones are beautiful, but building a whole army is going to be really expensive! It seems to me that Mantic dwarfs could be good at least for hammerers and ironbreakers, maybe not for longbeards.

Damn, you are right, no way to play the hurricanum, I can’t loose the DK alliance. Really a pity.

To be honest, I haven't played DC yet, I'm still in progress of building the army. But at 2k I was considering one SoBD and two sorceress on foot. And I'd like to add a Pendulum (because I love the model, and would like to use endless spells that can't be too dangerous for me..). Alternatives would be chronomatic cogs or geminids. Right now I'm more doubtful about the rest of the army, I'd like to build an elite army, most made of executioners and black guard (and I could consider changing the SoBD with a celestial hurricanum - properly converted..) but I have the impression that in age of sigmar game is more and more important have bodies, a lot of bodies.. Last but not least, I'd like to take two celestial ballistas as allied (of course converted with big oval base and dark elves crew!)

Hi, my druchii friends. I have some darkling covens models and rally love them. Exactly I have 20 executioners, 14 bleakswords, 10 black guards, two sorceress on foot. with the new AOS release what would you suggest me to arrive at a decent 2000 points army, I mean what do you think is the best tactis: many wizard heroes and a couple of endless spells? Élite infantry (two massive blogs of executioners and black guards)? Or basic infantry? I need suggestions, even for next buying..

May I have a full stormcast army with four ballistas (I have them, I know I exagerated a little bit..) and give them the Greywater Fastness bonus? Or with a Greywater Fastness alliance I can only use a generic Order Army?

Is there a specific colour scheme for Greywater Fastness living city, and what do you think aret he best ironweld arsenal units to add? With an Ordinator Lord, of course.
