  1. I’m really curious to see how TOW will do once released. I can’t get a clear idea on how many people are interested or not.
for me, I’ll be happy to get the opportunity to get some high elf kits I never got and to get one or two new heroes. I’ve got no idea which unit could be added to the high elf line. A resculpt of the basic troops would be best, but since neither Brets or TK got that I fear it won’t happen for other armies.

  2. Don’t know if this had been discussed, but I’m a little surprised about the stand alone release of the nurgle and fireslayer heralds.
The goblin herald was released as stand alone first, but came with a wave of orks and thrugg. I was assuming the other heralds would be accompanied by releases for their factions. That would be a good reason to wait with their individual release. The flesh eater herald will probably be released with the new flesh eater battletome (?).

anyway, I’m happy I can get my hands on the nurgle herald, such a spectaculair model. But the release seems like a bit of an afterthought. Do they not play a major part in the story of dawnbringers?

  3. It still seems a little random that this Pegasus is in plastic, but the other old world are resin. The priestess on unicorn is resin too right? Maybe this Pegasus will have multiple builds, or the mold has been made a long time ago for an unreleased Bretonnia wave.

I still like the idea of old world, but I just can’t understand the reasoning behind some of the choices that have been made.

They've said for a while now TOW would have new plastics.

I know, but why this model. I don’t understand the logic behind it.

There were some rumors that gw had worked on new bretonnians before they decided to kill WFB. This could be why it s in plastic. It was really designed for WFB.  But no matter the reason this gets me excited to play in the old world again with my Bretonnian army

Could be, that would make sense. Although it seems like a really long time to put a model on a shelf.

  5. GW seems to knock it out of the park everytime they update an old sculpt. The gorgers are really good and for the ironjaws the new kit replacing the old black orcs also looks fantastic.

the damsel is finally a model that makes me excited for The Old World. I’m really surprised we didn’t see the leaked new Pegasus. It looks like GW changed the way they react to leaks?

Finally, I never liked the current look of Slaanesh daemons, and the new underworld warband is more of the same esthetic. But that fat daemon is awesome!

  6. I'm selling some of my older projects to make room for new stuff. this is a little diorama I made, it won 1st place in an online competition. The diorama features several models representing different aspects of chaos: a bloodletter on juggernaut, a beastman, a daemonette and a knight, several banners/icons and a chaos lord with a flaming sword. A toppled statue of a stormcast can be seen on the ground. Everything is build, converted and painted by me. Let me know if you are interested.

  7. I've been eyeing the new Nurgle harbinger of decay (for a conversion), but I really don't like getting a box with Nurgle mini's I don't need (and not very interesting to sell off, because a lot of people are already doing that). Is there any indication if and when the new characters will be sold separately?

  8. I’m really surprised the flagelants stayed. With the preview article about the religious cults (cult of the wheel) I was sure we would get a new kit. Maybe it will just be a centerpiece model.
i feel the current flagelants are a nice kits, but they are to buff. I saw someone convert the new zombies into flagelants, they looked amazing with their skinny arms and legs and shambling poses.

  9. Over on war of sigmar, Hastings ( one of the most well known rumour sources) stated in the comments that old bretonnia, tomb king and orc kits have been taken back in production and are probably getting new paintjobs for ‘the old world’ rulebook…
