  1. ok. i think ill be alright. (i admittedly don't use the deployment cards that often)
  2. wait a minute. that's not how there supposed to go together?
  3. i think a melee warband would be a little bit better for a new player because your not spending the game running away from your opponents trying to keep them in a position were you can shoot at them. your can throw stuff at the objective and not worry about minimum range at all. just throwing in my little bit, take it if you want wit a grain of salt. good luck😄
  4. haven't played a whole heap. while i do play AOS I much prefer Warcry but here's my two cents. I personally don't like it for a few reasons. 1) its boring. your either standing around a table waiting for your opponent to finish their turn or your racing around, your brain doing a mile a minute trying to figure out how to end this quickly. 2) it does basically determine who wins the game. if i wanted to play a game solely based on chance i would whip out candy-land but that's just not why im investing my time and money into this game. and yes, im sure you could plan for it if you really think about how you build your army, but here's my thing. if im thinking like that then im not playing against my opponent anymore, im strategizing against the game mechanics. I just feel like it defeats the point of having two people playing together and borderline ought right ignoring each other. just SFD'ing here. hope i didn't offend anyone. have a good day. :)
  5. I found this on a more recent thread dealing with a similar ability. Q: Some rules add to or subtract from the damage points allocated by each hit or critical hit from an attack action. In cases like this, does this apply to every hit and every critical hit scored by that attack action?A: Yes. that really boggled my mind for a bit there.
  6. im happy to see legions of Nagash doing well if not for the resin i want but ill take what i can get. out of raw curiosity, what does everyone think of idoneth and nighthaunt?
  7. i did some of my skeletons green and blue. In hindsight probably wasn't the best idea but it looked ok. just a suggestion.
  8. hi there im the equivalent to the kid with the propeller hat here. saw this on a whim and just thought I'd throw in my two cents. you have every right to take what I say with a grain of salt though. firstly regarding leaders; for your army, I would probably take the guardian of souls. having an extra spellcaster in your army is never a bad thing and with Arkhan as your general I think it's a fairly clear choice. i love the wight king to bits but it just doesn't cut it in this army especially when it's not mounted. for cavalry; I like what ACBelMutie is saying about the dire wolves and im actually going to consider that as I build my list but it is understandable that you don't want to invest another 60$ in your army. if you're sticking with the black knights then maybe keep them in two separate pods. you don't really need another big bruiser and this will give you two chances to rush an objective or the means to hit two objectives at once. I would also consider mashing the spirit host's together though. just to give that unit some extra stopping power. im going to be perfectly honest, I have very little(and by very little I mean I read one article on the warhammer community site) experience with endless spells. your really on your own there but hopefully having a clear idea on who your leader will be will help you out with that decision. i hope it goes well regardless of how you do it weather you take our advice or not. and keep me posted. i'd be interested to see how this works out for you.
