What has been announced but is unreleased? I recall two Underworlds war bands to finish season 3 that will be released in August, Underworlds season 4 in December, the last original WarCry war bands from the WarCry core book, the remaining Lumineth that are due in September, and the SoB mini(s) and codex. Is there anything else?

It looks like it is still available (https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-US/Deathshrieker-Rocket-Launcher) as of right now in the US. Who know how long it will stay though; probably until they sell out their local stock.

Which bases did you get?

I wouldn't panic. It is my understanding that local, non-GW shops get a portion of the print run independent of GW's online store. Depending on how may boxes get allocated to your store, you should get the SoB (Sisters of Battle) box. This should be true for the battle force boxes this Xmas as well. Plastic Sisters of Battle figures have been requested for a long time and the army has a huge pent-up demand. It is unclear night haunt has that level of demand currently. BTW: The local GW stores will also get a portion of the SoB print run (probably no more than 1 or 2 boxes) but that will probably sell out within hours of the store open on the 29th.

The weird thing is, they just had a Fimir army showcase on the twitch channel recently and one of the new Warcray beasts is an example of a new Fomoroid model. That does not seem to go along with the Fimir being squatted. Also: at the Nova reveal they mentioned "Exciting changes" coming to Forge world. I have not heard/seen any follow-up to that though. Maybe the Fimir are moving into the main design studio.

I started at age 50 with Shadespire. I needed a hobby that didn't involve video screens that helped improve my eye-hand coordination. I love board games and this hobby seemed like a natural evolution.

I hope that they resurrect the "Warriors of the Great Cites" battle force boxes from the Firestorm campaign. (https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/08/17/the-season-of-war-continues-in-firestorm-aug17gw-homepage-post-2/) for at least some of the Xmas boxes. Maybe this year AoS gets 6 boxes like 40K did last year.
