As someone who one day dreams to write Warhammer fiction for Blacklibrary, that was an amazing read. The descriptions of the siege, the interactions between Cignirus and both Malthusian and Hypatia, even Rothgau just straight up dropping dead... Truly I aspire to your level

@Tommy Aye, thanks for the advice! I'll admit, I don't know why I haven't thought of using the Warcry warbands. Spire Tyrants seem like a good fit for marauders/marauder horsemen, and a kitbash with the Untamed Beasts might be a good way to diversify Bloodreavers. Do you happen to know if the Spire Tyrants' torsos would fit on marauder horsemen's legs? Yeah, my warriors have had a fair mix of heads, although now I'm thinking about non human warriors... And I'm always looking for ideas for heroes, unfortunately my Karkadrak Lord has already had their helmet glued on, but who knows what's under there 😛

So, I've begun a project dedicated to collecting every single GA: Chaos army, with heroes and generals based off of friends/people I know. And since I have way more female friends than male, it lead me down the rabbithole of, "Why would only the leaders of an army be female?" which goes back to the main topic, what would be the best way to go about converting the masses of Chaos to include women? A ton of the models are already fine, chaos warriors, knights, and blood warriors are all clad in heavy plate already, so there's really not much to distinguish male from female. The maggotkin are corrupted to high heaven, and daemons are well, daemons. So far, for the DoT, I've been planning on using Lumineth models, with some conversions they look like they'd fit right into a secret cult in a City of Sigmar. And for Slaanesh, one of thr friends I'm basing a KoS on collects DoK irl, so I thought I'd be a fun tie in. Currently thinking of marauder horsemen and blood reavers, and possibly the beastmen(?) I've never really done conversions before, nor do I have much experience outside of GW, so I'm mainly looking at simple conversions using GW bits, but I'm open to any help available! The no. Of heroes that can receive Command Traits is 6, that's why my Mask of Darkness Sorc id without. If you meant like, list building wise, 6 is the limit for 2k, but this is a 2.5k list, where the limit is 8 heroes

Right, everything you said about the Marauder Horsemen and Knights makes sense, but about that Lord. Wouldn't it be hard for a footslogging Lord to keep up with the Knights? Also, if it does make sense and I'm just being a dummy, what would you drop for the Lord?

Isn't that only a rule from old WH40K? As far as I know, removing from the front has never been in AOS, and hasn't been in 40k since 8th

It seems Nurgle and/or Khorne are the standouts for the book, but as a mainly narrative player(who has no idea how math hammer or tactics work) Is there anyway to make a viable Undivided list? Doesn't need to be all Undivided, just a bulk of it. Thanks in advance!

Hey all, the name's Seraphina, and I've been a lurker on TGA for about as long as I've been doing AoS. I don't have a particular "army" yet, I've just been building and painting the minis I enjoy for the past few years, but with the Cities of Sigmar battletome being announced, I think I'm slowly gonna get into the game... Current "armies" consist of Stormcast, Tzeentch, Seraphon, StD, Daemons, and Ironjawzl. Planning on starting up a Cities of Sigmar army whenever that drops. Before AoS, I was more of a 40k gal, with about 3000pt Orks and a small collection of CSM back in 7th, but I've since jumped ship, and AoS is my main collection now. As I think is obvious, I'm more of a painter than a player(curse you art background!) but I'm even more so a writer. Seeing as my dream job is writing for Black Library, I think you can see why. I also happen to have an extreme soft spot for everyone's favourite "Non canon" god, Malal.
