  2. My first thought was curse, followed by rattling cannons. That would be pretty disgusting
  3. Kill his necromancer and Radukar asap. Ignore the zombies unless you can remove most of the unit off the table. Make sure to hit Vhordrai with a Destroyer Cabbage and a unit of buffed pigs. SOB is deceptively hard to kill in that army. A buddy at my FLG runs it often. I've had greater success bringing a block of 10 brutes. Waaagh!!!
  4. Vermin, I'm in need of assistance. Buddy at my FLG just picked up Legion. never played it before. Any advice on how to counter?   5. I frequently play units of 10. With the 2" reach you will get most of your attacks in. Just make sure the 1" leader is always front and center. Rend 3 on a Waaagh with violent Fury murders basically anything. I've one shot Nagash, Archeon, Mega (with old amulet). If you can get them within range of Bashem Ladz.... Hit the right targets and they won't recover. My play Mystic shield + violent Fury. Hand of Gork them up the board 12" away. Bashem Ladz then Mighty D the warchanter for the 3+ 3d6 to charge. Waaagh. Unit of 10 Brutes and a cabbage with +1 wound, extra rend, and +1 damage is an absolute blender.
  6. Fellow Warbosses. I need some ideas. Not interested in paying an arm and a leg for more Boltboyz (reason I haven't expanded beyond dominion). BUT... I have 2 halves, which mean I got 40 Hobgrots. I wanna use them to make a 2 man shooting unit, think Skaven Jezzails. So 2 hobgrots, 1 weapon. Question is, which weapon?

  8. I've had a lot of success with a blocks of 10 Brutes. You Messin has won me games. With hakas on Brutes they consistently out preform my 6 Gruntas damage wise. In my experience. After turn 2, Gruntas are all out of range of violent fury. Dramatically decreasing their output. Brutes lack the same mobility but I either MD or TP them to a central objective. Supported by a warchanter they do serious work. I've also lawnmowered an entire flank with them and a warchanter. Opponent has to commit a lot of resources to deal with them effectively. A cheap screen can deny the goregruntas their mobility anyway. I love my pigs but they consistently under preform for me. Maybe it's just me though.

  10. You guys see any solid play from a Skryre list? I'm wanting to run 9 fiends. Which means Arch Warlock, Bombardier x2 and 5x5 + 1x15 acolytes. No skitterleap so need the bridge. Anything less than 40 acolytes seems way too sparse. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it. Converting and painting all those acolytes is a lot of work. Thoughts?
  11. I've lost 3 times now to my buddies Soulblight. Belladoma Vhordrai Radukar the beast Blood coven throne (general) Necromancer 2x20 zombies 2x10 wolves (one is summoned) I'm running Ironsunz 2xMBoMK. General, mighty Waaagh leader, Amulet & Fastun + Destroyer 2 WC 10 Brutes (sometimes 2x5) 2x5 ardboys 2x3 pigs I've tried penetrating his castle. Getting through the screens turn 1 is essentially impossible. Then on his turn he debuffs the absolute ****** out of me. Never quite seen that much debuffing. Prince V then one shots MK. I've tried letting him go first to set up the counter punch. It's a pretty strong game plan this way but by turn 3 the attrition war is lost against death. What do you guys think? Any tips? It feels like Darksouls hardmode.
  12. Is it possible to put an artifact on the mounts attack? I'm assuming that's how you got -3/7??
