  1. its been explained more in the FAQ. FAQs - Warhammer Community (warhammer-community.com) But in short: The first user gets +1 If the spell is sucessfully cast and not unbound, the new value will be +2 for the next user As long as you keep up a chain with successful casts that are not unbound, it will be a +2 However, whenever you fail or it is unbound, it reverts back down to +1 and you start over

  4. I found this picture on FB, I hope its the current wording as my argument below relies on it. Apologies if not! The same paragraph you are referring to also has more wording. If my opponent would insist that paragraph prohibits me from moving with the model that is the caster/sanctum, I shall insist it cannot be attacked. However I think thats is wrong and the people above and in my earlier thread have given good arguments for it being able to move. Also note that the paragraph you are referring to initially states, "unless noted otherwise". Since you have unified the warscrolls, this allows other rules to supersede those of endless Spells not being able to be targeted or moved or being considered "friendly to both factions".
  5. Good thought! But just checked Guerilla miniatures review where he shows the new page. No change Im afraid. It is indeed odd that the other named characters specficly says they are named on their warscrolls. @Beliman Nice catch. But I see the Blue Scribes was changed to named character via the errata.
  6. I pointed to that quote in a conversation in an FB group, It still did not convince the person. The argument is still that some abilities refer to the unit, some to the hero, strenghtening the argument that the unit is the target (for the universal abilities). But after reading that quote again I just cant come to any other conclusion that it is still the hero using it, even for the universals. But some people will play it differently.
  7. in our battletome, the old one. And in all the others to I assume. Last page "Pitched battle profiles". In the text in the beginning of the page. "Units that are listed as 'Unique' are named characters and can only be taken once in an army".
  8. Yup, correct, according to the casters warscroll it can move. So its two conflicting rules.
  9. I agree with you both. But nonetheless some people will argue against it with the strictly RAW argument. "The Sanctum is not a predatory endless spell, and only predatory endless spells can move. Full stop, discussion ended". Its hard to convince them otherwise.
  10. I think most people say it can, but I just read a discussion in an FB group where a player insists it can not. The argument is that the rules for the Sanctum says it uses the casters warscroll and also the endless spell rules. The Sanctum is not a predatory endless spell, and only predatory endless spells can move. Therefore the sanctum cannot move as per the endless spell rules. Any thougts?
  11. Im afraid that Unique characters are also considered named character. No FAQ needed. Source is the text on the Pitched battle profile page. I just learned this yesterday when I was considering putting Blade of leaping gold on the Loreseeker. I hope its an error, but probably not. So still no Scinari combat hero to put the Blade on.
  12. I commonly see people saying that is not the case. I really dont know what to think anymore. The argument is that the command abilities in the GHB says to pick a unit, and the hero is just necessary for measurment. It is still the unit that is picked. Some abilities does specify "a uni with this ability", ie the hero. So theres also a difference in wording between abilities.
  13. The Future of Warhammer Underworlds - Warhammer Community (warhammer-community.com) If guessing from the roadmap, the red icon looks vampiric? The green is probable savage orcs. The blue and light blue, no idea.
