I really don't want to come off as rude, so please don't take it that way, but can you explain that a little bit more? I mean they did exactly that with LRL, OBR, heck, Primaris across the board? GW making new sculpts more powerful on the board to sell more of them... that is basically what their business model is built around. After a few months after everyone has bought the new hotness the FAQ or eratta something and they drop in power a bit, and then it is off to the races on something new. The only time I can recall something totally new coming out that was not amazing was the STD start collecting box with the rules for Chaos Knights. Again not trying to be a ******, but can you tell me how that is debunked? Honestly asking.

Dang, that is more than I thought. I guess a quick google search would show those. However, Bullgors, Krox, chaos spawn, rat ogors, and gyrocopters are rarely used from what I have seen. But hey, until we know for sure guess they could be either way. Unless someone who has done an unboxing has already stated they are and I have missed it.

I am not worried, not really, I just wanted to know if anyone had thought of any cool combos and stuff for the new units to blend with the old.

Some of my friends and my brother have been giving me a hard time about the 5000+ points of fully painted SCE I cherish being useless once Dominion comes out. What are your thoughts on this? Do we think everything in sacrosanct chamber is going to be replaced? Same with Warrior chamber? Or are things like Liberators going to still be useful with a 3+ save for battleline? TLDR: Are my old models totally useless now? Haha.

Thanks @zilberfrid I am pretty new to playing Phoenix Temple and have only used them in a mixed order 3k mess-around match, but I am very excited to start. I was thinking of dropping one of the 30 man units to 10 and taking more shooting/magic. I could keep and Anointed on foot and 10 PG back for defense and march forward with everything else and should be OK in most games, at least I think.

Anyone else really excited for the Cities of Sigmar update to PT? I think a great alligance ability is just what the Dr ordered for this army. Very excited to see what happens. I recently just finished building my 90 Phoenix Guard and two Frostheart with Anointed. What would you say the greatest weakness of Phoenix Temple is? Shooting, magic? Thanks for the advice!

So, my wife just bought me the Vangaurd Brotherhood Battleforce box last night. I am working on building a list that uses the Vanguard chamber and making it into an Anvilstrike. I have read a lot of lists on here, reddit and in other places. I am seeing the core being 9 long strikes and something hard hitting like 10 evocators or 6 pallidators, and relictor to teleport. I have made the following. Looking for advice, may have to buy some more models at the moment but I love the flexibility and the possibilities with this list. I mean, yeah that is what I was thinking, with Witness and the Blizzard aura you have a super defensive troop, park them behind a line of guard, they have a 2" attack and can kick ass over the heads of the PG, higher damage output with the Anointed and then the command ability to rr wounds, and ignore battleshock... seems like too much to give up to NOT have an anointed on top, but maybe I am missing something?

Hello, just asking as very new player to PT, but why take the phoenix without riders? Is the battalion THAT good? I thought it only does d3 dmg once per turn. Thank you

Thank you for the clarification this makes me fee a little better. If I get a little use out of them I can always just keep them to look cool. Although for people that have had them forever I totally get it and that sucks.

So, sorry about this but I posted earlier that I just bought a new army and I have a lot of GG and the heroes that were "cut" but my question is; it looks like they are just not being sold. They have points, they have warscrolls, they are still playable... is there any reason at all I cannot use them? They look legal as of GHB 19 so, they are not included in Cities of Sigmar now? But really nothing has changed right? I guess I might not be understanding exactly what has happened but to a new player all it looks like is that they have just stopped selling these units on the website. Any advice would help, again I am new so please don't rage on me. Thank you,
