  1. For the near future, I think I need a witch, some fey, trolls, a dock and a few buildings.

For those buildings, I think I'll glue up the TT combat Rasaad schooner, Elven Docks, one of the Venice buildings, pworks harbour and Tavern and a Dankhold Troggoth, as well as sculpting some legs to my remaining trolls.

I'm also going to rescue the creature from the Trogboss's hand, I could use a giant centipede.

Not sure if I'll be painting all that much, I had a setback with my recovery and it's more intense than building.

These look great. What scale are these and how much did they cost? Might be interrested in some buildings like these.

They are 28mm scale (though the mills and grain storage are made for halflings), and really cheap. That inn (Agatha's Stone Moon Inn) cost me €21, and has gridded 1st and second floor, it's around 30*20cm. I the mills were about €14-€16 (€14 for the water mill+ bridge, €16 for the wind mills)

    Sigmar gazed upon Archaon longingly.

"They say my greatest loss was Ghal Maraz, but it was losing you.. "

Though his helmet concealed any emotion, Archaon's voice betrayed his longing.

"Sigmar, the Ruinous powers may scrable to claim me, but I have always belonged to you..."

    (The rest is heavily censored)

I now want an AoS dating sim. If there is a dating sim for KFC, birds and weapons, why not explore the forbidden lore between a kroxigor and a dryad? Fyreslayers, Darkoath, Bonesplotters and Daughters of Khaine are already dressed for the coverart.

I always read the Spanish wiki as ‘Sigmar Erotica’, and people do keep saying they want more AoS books...

As Sigmar and Gorkamorka looked victoriously over the battlefield admiring each other's prowess, both noticed the damage on the other's armour... and the muscular body revealed by the torn garments

You are all very kind for AoS here… I would say that it has a real problem. The game is almost 10 years old and yet all it takes to reveal some glaring weaknesses is a joint army book for several TOW factions. Hopefully the designers will notice that there is a lot of good stuff to borrow from old Warhammer.

I won't comment on the game, but the AoS models are brilliant.

As long as books are overpriced and have a three year life span, I see no reason to do anything with the game.

  6. So to make the terrain I want to finish in januari a bit more specific: 4x wooden house, 4x halfling house, one village house, two corners, two tiny towers, one staircase and one gateway of the fortress and this pile of cocktailsticks.

Edit: +1 owlbear, a few broken down walls and a head replacement for a bandit. It pays to read the encounter before spending a lot of time on terrain.

  7. I am about halfway painting the pallisades. 150cm straight walls, about a meter of curved wall, small pallisade tower thing and 30 cm gateway. Made from cocktailsticks, sate skewers and coffee stirrers on foamcore.

The round things are the containers of the first two cocktail sticks (I think there are about 1200 cocktail sticks in there).IMG20240103132521.jpg.d831308230c4fd279f6e939f61718c1e.jpg

Yeah, it‘s damn shame they started to have many online exclusives… high prices and long waits is a lame combo! Strangely I got a lot of what the heck reactions here last time I lamented this. I‘m sorry for all those that wanted their christmas gobbo, that‘s a total fail on GW‘s part and I‘m tired of not calling it what it is.

Also I hate that I still have no Nurgle harbinger. I‘d never keep him obviously but I wanted to paint him up and give him to a good mate (he doesn‘t invest much time in painting and wanted me to paint something for him for ages…). Ebay is the solution I guess - but it feels strange that a new, amazing mini doesn‘t get produced in satisfying quantities and a timely manner.

To be fair, I would not have had time to paint it in time anyway and they are for me, not for a gift. It was just an observation.
