  1. Don't worry, they can still make beastmen in new epic, the RTS, 40k and Necromunda before them coming to AoS
  2. You are right, they did say that! I'm not privy to GW's financials, but I'd say maintaining a supply chain just for a few of their oldest sculpts (assuming new sculpts will either be plastic or FW resin) does not make much sense, but then GW/FW isn't the best at resin.
  3. I would expect metal models to go the way of the dodo, that's a whole different bit of factory and supply chain to maintain for only a few models. Also looking at you, Skryre Acolytes.
  4. I suspect resin for all characters, plastic for troops.
  5. With Aeronatica being removed, I am once again baffled by GW. If they had done a proper announcement I'd have purchased most Orc craft and a few others. Now I'll have to print similar craft and they get no money from me. Give us time to buy your product!
  6. It might be a Dutch dwarf, and it's no larger than a 32 mm speed bump.
  7. Yeah, FW was never great at AoS, but it's all gone now.
  8. Just yesterday you said you wanted an almost complete removal of all pre-AoS kits, that's why I assumed that you basically want a removal of pre-AoS kits, among which are the three gems I listed. Souping has not led to more kits for the factions that were put in the blender, I'd want to see evidence of that changing before removal of identity by stuffing them together.
  9. So not only do you want to remove sets like the General on Griffin, Gyrocopter and Sisters of the thorn, you also want to remove any real chance of Fyreslayers and Kharadron getting new kits by souping them? Souping does not give things new kits.
  10. Underworlds warbands run out of rotation as well. The other two types of orcs are incredibly safe, and there is a good chance Bonesplitters are as well, but it's different because it doesn't have AoS era kits.
  11. I'd say Swamp Orcs and Ironjaws are safe. Bonesplitters a lot less so.
  12. I'd say the Imperial Nobility team is, well, Empire Nobility. Much more central Europe renaissance than Anglo or French medieval.
  13. Suggestions: Female fast mover unit on flaming wings, dual kit with either high rend (two handed weapon) or high save (shields). Walkure styling highly suggested. Minimagmadroth swarms that provide a damaging effect around them and slowly reform (healing each turn). Expectations: Extra infantry heroes.
  14. It might be that the "Everything is awful" theme is so pervasive in 40k.
  15. Whitefang would be the perfect (American) burlesque act. Revealing enough to have the whole room interested, but in an oblique enough way to keep it classy.
  16. Stormcast are essentially models in 50 mm scale. Especiallythe more recent ones with human proportions. This makes them easy enough to start painting, while not as monumental a task as King Brodd's people. Their design is also quite easy to paint, and some of their models genuinely look good. Dawnbringers have smaller details, (not to mention things like the Celestial Hurricanum, which is awesome) and the future of some bits of the COS range (basically everything that isn't Dawnbringers and adjecent heroes) is uncertain. You really don't want to have people that just started having their faction stripped or canned.
  17. I read that as "Realm of ruin gameplay" and I thought you were quite harsh and dramatic.
  18. Thanks I will do that. Especially Mollog's Mob and Ylthari. Newer teams barely drop in price, and then also are not available discounted so it's effectively a markup.
  19. The cardless newer warbands are ridiculously priced. €32,50 for three to four models (for most of them), what the hell? Should have gotten Ylthari's before, they look neat.
  20. There is this, of course, but this guy wanted to write forms about jyst about everything.
  21. He's the next referee for Blood Bowl I hear, as well as a mercenary for Necromunda.
