  1. I found a custom jigsaw creator site, having trouble finding pictures that properly fit and there's only extremely basic tools to offset that https://www.createjigsawpuzzles.com/
  2. One or two sure, it'd fit in Gnarlwood theme and how Ghur/Krondspine is making some mortals turn into beasts. don't think it'll be more than that tbh.
  3. Oh yes Jigsaw specifically, edited the title! It's a bit funny the merch shop has candles, phone cases, and even calendars! But no jigsaws
  4. Hiya folks, My partner has recently gotten herself into puzzling, and while I'm not opposed to doing puzzles it is always nice to have some hobby overlap So my question is: have you seen any Age of Sigmar puzzles? My first search returned mainly 40k ones from redbubble, and while I'm sure fantasy has some I'd rather not have to buy WHF artwork when I want AOS. (Feel free to add any other kinds of tertiary media that you might come across for AOS)
  5. All of the Kill Teams seem to be 10 models though, while Warcry often has weird numbers like 7-9 models. And yet 40k doesn't care if you're in 10s while AOS needs it... what gives lore-wise Oxy would be his own monster/hero type like the Centaur i think, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was an all-skink warband either way
  6. Hate to say it after that sneak peak of a skink but... if boxed set = dual warband set then we're talking 220 USD / equivalent for each one, and there's 4 per season, which is uhh. yeah. It didn't really sound like single warband boxes with terrain Guess I am waiting for halves unless one particular set I absolutely want both warbands AND the terrain.
  7. They for some reason decided to make the AOS warcroll a completely different article coming "at a later date"
  8. Dang I thought they were farther apart so it's really more of a geographic difference than time...
  9. You know the more I think about it, the more I'm realizing the conquistador look was probably the easiest/simplest way (in GW's mind) to 'upgrade' the old look to fit with the high fantasy of AOS. That aesthetic sort of bridges the gap between medieval HRE and the Napoleonic eras. I'm thinking GW broke it down into a few key points: -more armored than WHF to deal with the more dangerous Mortal Realms -fits in with magitech, steamtech, and other high fantasy designs -recognizable historical pastiche Now they really need to start posting more design info so we can hear about their process...
  10. New Reforged has some nice Ghurian construction going on in the background, and if not a one-off joke implies that Kharadron trade with the Death Alliance in Shyish I like that this comic seems to be (loosely) following the Ghur theme of 3.0
  11. It seems best to keep an incantor for the insta-unbind for sure, even if there's no Purple Sun.
  12. They uhh messed up this last sentence but it sure sounds exciting!! "And tune in next week, when we’ll have more news on the future of Warry, as well as info about Orginised Play in stores." Sounds like GW may actually throw its weight behind Warcry for the new edition 😍 edit: the expansions image does make it sound like new warbands could be paired with terrain, instead of a bunch of dual boxes?
  13. I'd rather have everyone on the same page having fun with the grimdark nastiness of Warhammer, than having someone feel like their culture or personhood was the butt of a joke or Always The Bad Guys while I'm having fun. It sucks feeling like something is wrong while everyone else seemingly ignores it. Except people do ask for it, because GW (and others) have definitely had issues with models in the past... If you can laugh all of those issues off, then congrats! None of them truly affect you. Being courteous and respectful of each other is not only sportsmanlike in gaming, it is part of being a communal species. Empathy factors aside, getting away from stereotypes is also straight up better writing. It challenges you to stop using them as a crutch and actually delve into how individuals and cultures function.
  14. Thing is, the conquistador look IS the WHB Empire put into the Mortal Realms, which at least personally is why it feels bland to me. While we haven't seen this specific look before, the general aesthetic is still "what if we took historical units and dropped them into fantasy?" except instead of HRE for pseudo-Europe it's conquistadors for the New World Mortal Realms. I am sure their specialized or realm units are going to look fantastic. I am hoping the generic grunts don't end up as conquistadors with Empire-adjacent imagery.
  15. When you get stuck doing a family photoshoot and they want you to smile
  16. I am hoping this as well, since it feels like the only true way to make this both "something we've never seen before" and bringing mortal humans fully into AOS. So we might get one that can transport a 10 man squad! Maybe with a dual kit for weapons-only 🙏
  17. Good point, we do know they have a lot of designs that end up on the cutting room floor
  18. Era of the Beast but the new WH+ minis are both Chaos Maybe the AOS model is a Tzaangor hero
  19. I actually thought this Cogfort looked too small LOL--I was expecting different sizes with probably different names for each, so maybe "Cogfort" will be the generic warmachine title and different sizes will get different adjectives? Agreed, I was hoping for something that has different aesthetics blended in than this.
  20. As a longtime Lizardmen player waiting for a Seraphon revamp: my gut is yelling "Engine of the Gods" or their other beam weapon
  21. We got another look at possible redo with the "Monster" article. Anyone watching H&B? Cogfort looks amazing, soldiers look a bit plain.
  22. And it feels much closer to how actual medieval people would've looked IMO; those who got enough food wouldn't have six packs, they'd have working muscle and a belly. Sure this is medieval fantasy, but how many jacked dudes do we need before my suspended belief floats into space
  23. Show a face or torso or even a whole body please, not just the greebles and bits
  24. I know it's off topic, so I'll ask if there's a video or article I can view to find out what the heck happened to Privateer and Warmahordes that it effectively killed the game (and company apparently)?
  25. More interesting related-news, GW made bank on gaming this year... mentions the Nexon game is expected 2022/23 and that leaves ~4 titles not announced yet. I am hoping 2 of them are AOS https://www.pcgamer.com/games-workshop-made-pound25-million-from-videogames-last-year-and-a-dozen-more-titles-are-on-the-way/
