  1. Wow talk about ignorant. I guess the Dunning Kruger effect applies to you this time, friend.
  2. I didn't say that didn't happen. I'm saying that it goes the other direction as well. The only bubble bursting here is yours as I'm not denying anything.
  3. lmao comparing regular humans with Marines and regular Marines with Primaris. Just because a model is taller it's not in a different scale. They are taller in-universe as well, so that's perfectly fine. I'm done.
  4. I do know what I'm talking about though and about the Dunham Krueger ... firstly that's a low blow and secondly right back at you. I suggest we drop this though as it's pretty offtopic and pointless. If you think this is 32mm more power to you. I made my statement and stay by it. (that's btw. also the reason why I said agree to disagree. I simply don't care about arguing with you)
  5. I guess we have to agree to disagree then. And the fact that you model minis as a freelancer doesn't mean anything as I don't own any of your minis to judge your skills as a modeler.
  6. You must have been living under a rock then. I've seen plenty AoS players insulting WHFB fans who prefer the old system over the new one. In the end there are the same kinds of people in both communities, just with different preferences. Neither group is morally above the other, it's always just individuals and those exist in both groups. No, AoS is still very much 28mm heroic scale. Nothing has changed about that.
  7. Out of likes for today so you'll get a quote instead.
  8. Except that they didn't announce an old product. They announced a new product in the old setting. That's a huge difference. We don't even know whether the old models would still be useable. Perhaps it's a completely different scale. This is a lot of doom-gloom the sky is falling mentality for something we barely know anything about yet.

  11. Pretty much the same way how two concurrent sci-fantasy battle games set in the very same universe with similar characters and even similar units work for GW. It's really not that big of a deal.
  12. Well first of all, GW games are 28mm heroic scale and secondly, they have a game called Adeptus Titanicus that is 8mm scale.
  13. Considering new GW loves giving everything a new awesome twist I'd say chances that this one is going to be WHFB just slightly tidied up is about zero. That being said, my favourite was actually the 7th edition. It had it's issues of course, but no edition was ever perfect and most of my problems were more due me playing Tomb Kings who only had a 6th edition armybook that didn't translate very well into 7th edition.
  14. Well not exactly free. Battalions cost points. Personally I'm not going to include any battalions in my list because I can literally cut nowhere without feeling bad about it.
  15. Yeah, it just prooves that it's not the evil WHFB players but people in the community in general. Heck we don't even know if this will be a game in 28mm scale like AoS. Could easily be in epic or AT scale too.
  16. It should be quite obvious to be honest. Pure fan service. People like it, people will spend money on it, GW does it.
  17. You do realise that a lot of AoS players are former fantasy players, right?
  18. 30k and 40k manage to live alongside eachother just fine. Sure there are the people who occasionally have weird arguments with eachother but that's not restricted to cross-system ... people have weird arguments with eachother when playing the same army in the same system even. ^^
  19. AHAHAHAHAHA this made my day! Too bad we have to wait 3+ years to see what it's really about (whatever tricklefeed informations GW is going to give us until then won't be nearly enough to give us a proper picture).
  20. You can't argue with loss of money in this hobby. We are all plastic crack addicts.
  21. That's a very binary way of seeing things but it seems like you have made up your mind already. Your loss.
  22. There are two majour things that need to happen for me to pick up whatever it is even before knowing any details: a restructure so they don't take ages compared to the main studio and moving away from resin for such big releases since it's way too expensive and not as nice a material to work with as the plastic from the main studio.
  23. Pro tip: Just don't use the most broken combinations then? There are other fun legions than Petrifex and the resurrects aren't that bad if you don't go with Arkhan or double Harvesters or some such. It's like in 40k a double Riptide drone spam list is not much fun to play against for most people, however my typical T'au list doesn't include a single Riptide (I use other bigger suits like Ghostkeels and the occasional Stormsurge instead) and only about 8-10 Drones in total and I have yet to hear someone complain about it. Can't do nothing about lucky hits with the catapult though. Just like there will always come a game where they won't do anything. *shrug*
  24. They really do their best to make it sound like WHFB2.0
