  1. I know, right? I mean he's got a robe AND a medallion. That combo is straight OP.
  2. Great podcast that gets better with each episode. Two points: 1. I cannot stop thinking about Sigmar dressing up people as his dead friends. 2. I think there's some controversy with the Zelbo Elf that no one has yet brought up. The blank page was after the Zombies entry, as mentioned, so is it "Zylbo Elf." Otherwise you'd have to slot it before Zombies in the binder.

    AoS 2 - Nighthaunt Discussion

As for the Black Coach, I absolutely love the model and have played it in the last six games I've played. Sadly, it has consistently underperformed. It is excellent at getting into the opponent's backfield and tying unit or two up for a couple turns but the damage output just isn't that strong. In those six games I've also never gotten it above level 3 (stupid dice!). I play it very aggressively and use it to get into my opponent's backfield ASAP, usually on the opposite side of the table I'm having my offboard units come in. The only time it shines is when it's taking on squishy units, like most battleline. For how I play I can't help thinking those points would be better spent elsewhere. Just some thoughts from someone who has played a few games with the Coach and would love to see it work.

Battleshock: A new Age of Sigmar Podcast

Brand new episode to treat those ears of yours! We talk about balance, do a post-mortem on the campaign, and CONTEST! Fine the new episode here.
  12. I had the exact same problem here in St. Louis. We had a lot of stores and small groups playing in a few. In the end, I picked one I knew I could be at consistently and showed up there to play every week. Folks eventually started rolling in. Then I ran a map campaign a. We've been growing ever since. I also started a FB page and make sure to post pics from the games we play. Having a consistent day and showing people having fun were keys here.

Spray Primers - Citadel is Awesome

As stated, Citadel sprays aren't primer. And while you don't absolutely have to prime plastic miniatures it is still the best way to ensure the paint will adhere. For the last few years I've been using Rustoleum 2X Ultra Cover White, Gray, or Black primer and then once dry I'll hit it with a Citadel spray. I've used those Rustoleum primers from well below freezing temps to over 100 degree F in every imaginable humidity level and they always come out perfect. I've found Army Painter primers are too variable under weather conditions for ease of use. I've also never washed a Citadel plastic miniature and I've never had an issue. Metal and resin always get washed. Plastic, never. Just find whatever works for you.
