  1. And so you're back Olynder found youInside there with that look upon your face
  2. Hi, could you guys rate my army sheet? Leaders: Knight of Shrouds General Role: Artefact: Aetherquartz Brooch Command Trait: Tragic Emanations Abhorrant Archregent Ally Spell: Shroud of Terror Kurdoss Valentian Role: Leader: 1 Tomb Banshee Role: Leader: 2 Battleline: Chainrasp Horde Role: Battleline: 40 Skeleton Warriors Role: Battleline: 40 Skeleton Warriors Role: Battleline: 10 Behemoth: Mourngul Role: Behemoth: 1 Other units: Dreadscythe Harridans: 20 Endless spells: Horrorghast 1 extra command point 1990/2000 Strong points: big bravery penalties, possible -2 to hit, a lot of command points, a little bit of bravery bombing, interesting options from KoS and AR Weak points: too much reliance on AR and his ability to cast spells, no + for casting spells, 40 chainrasps or 40 skeletons?, just two Banshees, few options to utilize that many command points, is AR worth it?! I'm looking for a strong list using Harridans and (possibly) Mourngul. Let me know in the comments what I could change.
  3. Looks very interesting. I kinda took my Ethereal of NH for granted xD. My focus was to make a VLoZM deal as many wounds as possible kinda forgetting that he’s pretty easy to get killed this way. Another interesting way is to have him in Death allegiance army with Red Fury and Ring of Immortality. This way he’s able to pile in twice and possibly can resurrect, only down side is that’s not reliable.
  4. Hey guys, I was thinking about the best way to play Vampire Lord on ZD. Two most interesting combos I thought about are: Legion of Blood (+1 attack), Blade of Endings (+2 to Damage on a hit rolls of 6+), Walking Death (Legion of Blood battle trait). The Second option is the same but with Ghyrstrike (+1 to hit and to wound). Do you guys have an idea which one is stronger? Maybe you have a anorher idea ot some extra combo on top of that?
  5. The point with deathless spirits was very strong. Although I dont wanna change Mourngul for Black Coach since that’s the unit I wanna playtest 🧐 I kinda know Olynder is a Glass Cannon but I dont expect her to get sniped fast since I play vs DoK (did I miss something about this army? 🤔) I changed Olynder and Geminids for 2 GoS (wychlight lantern, Cloaked in Shadow, Spectral Tether) and the other one (lifestealer). Any thoughts now?
  6. Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm excited to be a member of this ghastly big community :) Giving a comment on previous topic before I introduce my own concern I think that KoS on foot is jst straight up garbage :D There really is no viable way to play it that I see (for example Olynder's spell give basically the same with another -1 to hit for the oppponent so why bother?). I have a match with DoK (with Morathi) this Tuesday and I'd like you guys to give me some feedback on my list and perhaps comments on tactics. I have a fairly big (though not massive) collection of NH models to choose from (though not 60 reapers, sorry). Without further to do, that's the list: Olynder (General) - Lifestealer Vampire Lord (Pendand of the Fell Wind) 30 Reapers 3 units of 10 Chainrasps (screen) 2 Mournguls 20 Bladegheists Chronomantic Cogs Geminids of Uhl-Gysh 2000pt The tactics is quite simple: Olynder together with BGs and Mournguls stay in the underworlds. Turn one I try to cast Chronomantic Cogs with Vampire Lord and I just straight up run forwards with VL and chainrasps + reapers. If I succeed at casting Chrono I pull out from the underworlds my other half of the army (Olynder, Mournguls and BGs) and decide if I try to charge (depends if I get something of value with Olynder ranged attack next turn). Later I just stay in one place and hopefully catch up with reapers and VL to bring Bladegheists back. Optionally I use bladegheists high movement to retreat on the back of the opponents main force and then chargé at them again. I can get my Reapers reasonably close to Olynder using NH Command Ability. The main plan is to just bleed enemy out with regenerating monsters and -2 to hit together with a option to additional -2 from Geminids and Olynder. I don't think I will pull out Geminids quickly but they are nice to stay at the side of the board and act as a threat. Big problem with this list is that I focus so much on debuffing oponent that I forget to have buffs myself (no Bladegheists reroll buff, no GoS) but I know my oponent is going to play Aelves with bucklers so I decided it's better to opt for a longer fight in hope to bleed them out since Mournguls heal each combat phase so thats 2d3 each turn. With 2'' attacks they are not so easy to deal with I believe. Tell me guys what do you think.
