  1. It’s good, but it’s not paladins/dragons/Dracoths as battleline good.
  2. GW has got you covered here as they are spreading out the releases anyway. Might be a couple of months to get it all out
  3. Named dragons: 18W 4+ spell ignore 12” range breath Once per game hero phase move and charge (?)
  4. Named dragons: 18W 4+ spell ignore 12” range breath Once per game hero phase move and charge (?)
  5. You been able to find out if it’s 15 attacks total (weird odd number - prime?) or each?
  6. Rumoured dragon knights. No more detail on breath weapon or why there is an odd number of attacks for 2 models (champion maybe?) Dragons are 9W 12move 3+ save Bravery 8. Unit of 2 models has 15Attacks 3+3+ rend2 dmg2 when charged + breath weapon About 280 points
  7. Supposedly ardboyz have been seen in the wild Bravery 5 and their attacks went to 1” 3a 4/3/-/1
  8. Barristan: 4 attacks 3/2/-2/4 4+ ward If he kills any models he heals back up to full health Before the game redeploys d3 units One command per turn for free In your hero phase pick a unit on the board and roll dice = wounds, 6s are mortals
  9. Good: battletomes at last! Bad: just two kits?? Wtf there’s like 10 on the Stormcast side alone. Are we going to be waiting until Xmas for this?
  10. No sign of the app (last commitment was “before the first battletomes of the edition”) so no joy with AoS next week. Expect wave 2 of 40k orks and maybe, if we’re lucky, an announcement of the AoS app. Once that is announced we might see things lining up for the 18th but probably more realistically the 25th.
  11. GW proving they can address this stuff, great news. Now just communicate to us what you’re intending to do and we’re in a much better place!
  12. Ehhh… that’s 400 points that could be annihilators. Even at rend 3 I don’t think they have the damage/points ratio to do anything but tickle 3+ save monsters. We’ve seen the scrolls, 3+ Lord and 4+ drakesworn. Sequitors 🗑 worst save, most expensive, 1” range and no mortals. There’ll always be a role for 5++ x3 scoring but it’s pretty niche.

  16. I mean if you read to the end of my post you’d see that I pointed this out 🤷‍♂️ But surely it’s the lesser of two evils at this point. I don’t want to wait another 4 months to play Stormcast at an event only to find out the FAQ breaks something else.
  17. At this point I think the community must introduce their own comp. unfortunately it seems that GW cannot be relied upon to produce quality FAQs on time anymore. How do we know that OWC and SCE won’t suffer the same fate? At this point it looks like they might not be out until October. We could be waiting until December for an FAQ to these books, which means they they won’t be event legal until January 2022 (due to cut event offs and the absence of events in late December). Worse, these FAQs might also ignore key issues and inadvertently introduce a game wide interaction that significantly warps balance. Meanwhile the community identifies problems within hours of new rules being published. Community comp could address these issues within days or weeks - not months. There’s no reason we should wait 2 months for GW to deliver something which causes more problems than it addresses. The problem is of course that community-anything lacks the same authority as one from GW, so how this would be delivered I’ve no idea. it’s a real shame as GW knocked it out of the park with 3.0 launch with a comprehensive set of FAQs to get into the new edition. However they needed to maintain that support and actually communicate to us what they are doing rather than delivering some thing late and wasting time and effort on updates to legends that 5 people in the world still play.
  18. It’s also worth noting that the 40K Ork release is still going ahead even though some models that should have been there are delayed. They did this for Necromunda too where they announced stuff, put it on preorder, but said some of it was delayed for a while. This tells us that it’s not an issue with the model kits themselves. If it was, GW would simply put what they had on preorder, take the money, and ship it when the boat gets here. It could be an issue with the physical books, as none of those part delayed releases went out without the books. Of course, this wouldn’t be an issue if GW could support digital releases. Then they could sell the book digitally, sell the models, and ship the physical book later once it arrives. Except GW have shot themselves in the foot here by changing their digital platform to require an app that still hasn’t been developed. So they can’t sell anything digitally. Either we are stuck waiting for the books to arrive or the app to be released, possibly both.
  19. Looks like they may also have missed/cancelled Loremasters? Was supposed to be on ploos from the 1st but hasn’t been announced.
