  1. yes and i allready explained the reasons on that post why everything ( besides heros on kroak list)should get reductions. weird thing is most of units i explained got reductions even some weeks only after the release. with only some standouts like sknks. and those weeks numbers reinforced my statement of every non kroak list being useless( noone got even a 4-1 without kroak), and even kroak list not being as broken as some guys claimed( had like 51% winrate, and only 3-4 5/0s, far behind the top 5-6 books). so i nailed most of things. i dont know, maybe im right with skinks points too, no?
  2. u meant RIP kroak lists? and was the only playable list, still far worst than the 5-6 last broken books. and it has been totally deleted. list went up by 100+ points, only on kroak, guards and skinks that would have been enough hit,but deleting the troglodon ability totally destroyed the list,,now kroak castle( kroak+astrolyth+5-10guards) must be at 18" of 3 enemy units to start doing something. it went back cloose to previous 3.0 kroak levels( not used). in contrast coalesced side got sligth decreases, around 3-10%... not cloose enough, that side needed a 20-40% decrease minimun. only rigth thing is whole book is more balanced. only good list got destroyed and unplayable lists now is playable at casual games, still far from tourney levels. how can skinks cost 90p in a world where zombyes cost 120??? i expected them going down to his intended 60-70p, instead going up lol and gw forgot the -100p on troglodon now it went back to be useless like has been since fantasy
  3. well no changes for idoneths( despite being in lowest braket since our bad book came out ) like always, seems correct rumours for me,but i hope they be fake and gw finally cut down the points on every non namarti on book

  5. dont like new story at all. how can humans guards living in aos, where you are always in danger, let in his walls to an enemy little army?? without even know they were undeads( or i understand it like that, they thought they were humans in rags). despite that good tale and scited to see who will be that 'named' hero called summerking
  6. some better than now things, but not a fan on new magic being bad outside buffing ur units since so short range etc and was hoping for melee changing like in 40k, but it is even worse now. always only 1 row fight with some units on 2, and need to be in galletian batallon in order to be playables. only real change is they removed the cheat of 21mm bases having always 2 rows fighting. nothing about coherency changing?
  7. yup last 2death and daemons book were way over the top. and they even eclipsed the allready op goblin book. only hope next general fix it for good, not tipical +5 points on 1 or 2 units dont know why in contrast we got seraphon book, where only kroak is cloose to those levels
  8. in fact it is a massive buff, and i really hope scaly get changed in our faq. -1wound always? or -1 dmg only on more than 1 dmg? no brainer for me. since most of game besides heros and monster are dmg 1. this change would shut up a bit of the seraphon haters and would rise the winrate( and coalesced will really need it lol)

  10. noticed the sarcasm but thx !! it is a seraphon book thread.... what would u prefer, an accurate analisis with reasons and numbers why book is bad, or false happy go comments claimming how great and op is new book, with everything so much better now!! only said why they are bad, but it isnt stopping me to buy them, since cool minis is more important than bad rules. only thing is really stoping me are prices like 45€ for a litle skink on chair..... same price as big miniatures like volga, lauka vay, my akhelian king, or heck even almost same price as estegadon!!! btw i wont bother on reply more pls dont quote me more. to remind me of this post exist
  11. none comenting anything about how the litle skink on chair cost 45€?? it seems way over the top joke, for a mini that should be 25-33 at best... or salamander being as overpriced as lumineth ballista is. or how the saurus hero on raptor cost almost the same as the unit if 3 raptors
  12. well im not a tourney guy, since i like to have fun playing, and having to play fast and several games in 2 days isnt fun for me. i play several times per week with local guys and alone in tts. but people here arent very good so i can play average lists and still easy win most of games, so i would never play kroak list here, since the game would be way onesided. on saurus note, they can also be compared to chaos ones, and they are better in everything too, better save. ward against mortal, exactly double our dmg( chossing being korne) and same cost... and even then std isnt spaming them since they arent too good, and even got a point decrease. and saurus is our only "okish" unit after kroak... i wasnt going to reply, only did because a quote message popped. i allready gave my reasons explaining why the book is really bad, besides kroak. same i did on my other army release, now ill sit and sadly see how everything will go exactly like i said on next year, but at least im good enough guy to dont reply on those posts 1 year later saying "i told you"to the guys who tried to have fun of me,or keep saying i didnt know anything on game or maths( despite having a math career) etc(idoneth posts i meant) on move again, yes high move will get you some early points, but on second turn rival wil get there, delete your units, get points back and autowin game since you wont kill them( only a extreme case example, where you have extreme movility but no dmg or takiness). like someone pointed there is a reason why lumineth foxes has 0 play rate despite moving 5000", once they nerfed his op mechanic, only move dont worth anything without dmg to back it up.
  13. hmmm i fear seraphon wont get a vanguard box? since everyone got it on book release. i was hoping for a kroxigors,saurus,raptors and astrolith box!!!. still hoping we get it before new years, where i expect a seraphon battleforce, so i can choose betwen vanguard or battle, or both lol
  14. well better to dont appear than being the absolute punching bags like idoneths in realms. get his ancestral relic stolen, get every enclave together to get it back, only to get totally stomped with most of them death, relic broken, then your enemy get pity on you and give your broken relic back and forgive your sorry live after kicking your but totally oneshided. but hey she gave us some souls in exchange of killing all our enclave together! 😂 was hoping to see new elite units and amazing hero coming from those souls.... guess must wait some more years
  15. well weighting like a 15% increase only for sligthy higer move than most units, and the ability to choose 1 dice of 2 on redeploy is allready being too generous. how would you weight move or bravery? it isnt so easy to math up as damage or sturdynes( save and wounds).
  16. it add some points to the total, per example skinks with normal move and no skill would cost 60p or so, higher move and that 2 dice thing make them 70 for me. i know lot of guys have the mantra "movement wins you games" but it is false. movement wins you games once you have enough damage to kill things and sturdy enough to not diying to a breeze. and on a game with double turn it gets even less important since you have 50% chance of having 2 moves before rival can do anything moving 80" dont enables you to kill that block of 30 chaos warriors saving at 2s, ward of 5, -1to wound etc etc above the objetive. if movement would be the most important stat we would have seen armys full of rypperdactils since are the fastest unit, but they are useless, i only use 1 at most to grab an objetive and die. or idoneth, one of fastest army moving 6-14 on everything. would be among best armyes. but they are among worst one because they dont do enough damage to kill things before they die and are overcosted. again like i said move dont means anything without enough damage to kill things.
  17. no,kharadrons has huge movility( not only chossing among 2 dices on redeploy lol), fly high. has really high thoughness and high enough ranged dmg to kill off treaths and enough melee dmg to kill what they charge. reason why they are the most op army right now is that. they have everithing too good besides magic
  18. nope i math up everything, abilitys, other heros buffs in army, army rules etc. so my statement above is pretty acurate im sure. and that is only to make those units barely balanced far from good. i compared same role units that has same unit size and same wounds, literally same units but in other books. skinks role is being tarpit, having 2 dices and chossing one isnt very helpfull there, those undeads do a better job as tarpit stoping units for longer. but move and shenanigans are okish, but when units are way overpriced and havent any real source of dmg in the list you cant win a game. i had this same arguments on idoneth tome release, where i explained the reason why new book was really bad and way worse than prior one despite being a 1.0 one, and people who didnt know maths replied how i didnt know how to play aos, i wasnt right, i was a troll etc etc... almost 2 years laters? turn out idoneth has been among the worst factions for whole edittion, rigth now being at lowest point, always around 44-49win and barely 1 tourney win in every generals. im totally sure that without any chaanges seraphon will be among top positions( dont think they will be op neither) with kroak list. koatls saurus blocks list will be second best list without kroak, being on B tier 3/2 or 4/1 positions, with a really lucky tourney win even maybe, where idoneths are right now. and every other list will be totally unolayable in competitive scenes
  19. skinks are useless for me, compare them to skellys, same stats but they usually have rend, have 6ward and revive half deads every turn.... or zombyes, more wounds per model, do more dmg and do plenty of mortals when die. actual skinks would need an extra shot and go down to 70p, 85p for that scroll is the best example of absurded overcosted scrolls in book. chamaleons are among worst unit in all aos, 6w at 6+ for 130p????? wtf and only does like 4dmg without any rend. they should cost 70p at best, they need an extra wound per model an extrashoot with 1rend at those points.compare thm to eshin rats, gutter runners.... way cheaper also deepstrike and do more mortals and dmg in shotting, and then do same dmg again melee for 100p... guards..... maybe worst bodyguards in game? we must use them because kroak is absurdly squishy, but they are useless, they should do exactly double his damage for those points, or go down to 110p or so. compare them to sc praetors? they do dmg closser to his point cost, and are tankier too for not so more points. astrolith is great, could even get a raise in points, but again only for kroak lists to make him even more op, outside that he is bad, a 6ward with so little range is mostly useless, he is there only to be with mage castle and make them more op. oracle is totally useless lol, a cloose to 300p monster that do an average 6dmg with 1rend, it should do double that dmg bare minimun. actual scroll cost 200p or so, it is only op with kroak list again since it is neded to do kroak spells, if not it would be as useless as prior edittion, where absolute noone took him, now is even worst since lost the +1 to cast and comet only for that -1to hit aura. basti solar again, it should cost 200, since do less dmg than elite shotting units like slanesh blissbard for 150p... and it is counting he is a monster, not downgrade and save at 2+. snake ones is mostly ok, dont do enough damage, but cant go down much more since his defensive stats would be too op. agradons need a rework like i said. if not actual scroll should be 170-180, cant even start comparing them to vamp cavalry, and they are around the same as idoneth eels, that cost 180 and are a bad scroll in an allready bad book. terradons are mostly ok,could be 10p cheaper, but are playable rypperdsctils are totally useless. way too overpriced, arent too pricy as unit grabbing unit. they should do his mortal dmg every turn, not once per game, and go down to 100p saurus are ok, only unit in book that can be buffed, still worse than similar units like chaos warriors, and they have way more buffs in book. still they arent being used too much, so saurus could be even 180-190p kroxis... another joke rules. warspawn should get extra atacks for being closse to skinks, actual rule is useless and so they are overpriced.actual one should be 150-160p both versions could get a raise in wounds or save since should be though, again cant even start comparing them to gitz trolls, that only cost 160p, with same stats plus 5ward and regen.... and doing more dmg than both versions of kroxis, with 2rend normal kroxis are better and mostly okish, should get down to 160p or so. but can be played wuthout feeling cripled. melee chickens are mostly okish, i would change his bonus to every charge instead only being in objetives, right now they arent good because cant be reinforced( untill they fix this stupid coherency rules), dont do enough dmg to kill units, and they are reaaaaly squishy with only 5 bravery. ranged chikens could go down to 130p or so since has same stats as elite shotting units(10w at 5+, and around 9dmg with 1rend for 150-170), but need to work with a melee chiken, if not they are totally useless. spawn... another example of totally joke scroll,need a total rework in his ability, if not it barely minimun need double shots and upgrade hit to 3+, and short profile changed to aply -1 save too on unit. again compare her to ogres cannon as dmg... it does like 4times more dmg for 50p more. or slanesh ranged cavalry, they always aply the -1armor since they will do it even on a 2+ save unit on average and again do like 4times the spawn dmg for again 40-60p more not sure. actual one cant cost more than 90p, and thats for his short range mode, only long ranged one would be 50p at best my easy fix for book would be put those points( since can rewritte rules) and change kroak to not being able to cast in everyplace with triglodon, only 12" like others mages, and cap his spell to 3 times per turn. so kroak lists wouldnt be so opressives, but other lists could be playable despite not getting to top positions.
  20. 100% this like i allready said. i know noone likes to hear crys, conplains etc about his new book. but new book havent lot of buffs or amplify rules so everything is really easy to meassure powerwise. kroak list is maybe op and unfun to play against. saurus blocks buffeds arent great but at least are ok melee chikens and melee terradons are okish every other scroll are totally bad or overcosted

  22. people criying about only getting a foot hero... and me as idoneth player criying about not getting a foot armored hero, or a hero with a fish/crab pet like goblins. or heronon eel, with some rules to rise army outside the pit they have been with new book. really hope that seraphons get a new hero as one of the deleted ones, priest, gor rok or chakax( dont remember his names in aos sorry). or even a kroxigor hero!!! but i think order wont get anything more. since canpaign will be about same 2 crusades, so dont make any sense to more armys appearing on every book as reinforcement. and will be only the bad guys ataking those 2 crusades. by the way they said 1 of those will fail and the other will have succes?
  23. i dont know why people need to play games before knowing if something is good or bad. reading rules and scrolls with points you allready knows what will npbe bad/good/ playable. only way to play will be koatl with block of saurus buffed up and maybe some melee chickens.like i previously said. then kroak may be ok, good, or even op, magic isnt so easy to math up. agradons are absurdly useless. they are made to be in combat but save like light cavalry, dont have any healing etc. for 20points more you have vampire cavalry.... that do cloose to double dmg, has more wounds, better save, better move, better bravery, do mortals, can healthemselves etc etc. still dreaming about faq upgrading them to 3armor and changing his ability to dont dissapear if not in combat, and getting points on every charge....
  24. caleb is awesome but he was totally wrong this time, on his unbuffed table count cosoesced buffs, conditional buffs, like chargers always having the ranged version behind them, and always atacking in an objetive. kroxis always being coslesced, being on our scenograph and with skinks dead that phase or ataking to 10 model units.... thats nice to math up, but it is only situational numbers, cant see global army with those numbers. and count every ranged unit going into melee. when noone will go into melee with a squish ranged unit only to do like 1-2 more dmg and diying on retalitation and some numbers are straigh wrong , per example terradon riders, even counting shot+melee do 6 no rend dmg, and he said they do 7dmg vs 4 armor????? only way would be counting his once per game mortal ability being buffed by the hero, again it isnt the real damage that unit will do.
  25. aginst 4+save, that would be around 70vdmg versus no save target and noope, that saurus combo is be best in book. only other thing close are new chikens melee, but they would need to have the ranged version cloose, cant really be reinforced being cavalry with 1", and only figthing in an objetive, that wont really happen. still will do fast maths( could be wrong but wont take some minutes to do it slowly on calculator). melee chikens outside obj alone do 7,6 for 150points both chikens meleeing and shoting same target do 16 dmg for 300points+130 skinkmage( 430points) or 20,3 if they are figthing in a objetive new raptors despite being the absolute best model ever made are reaaally bad ruleswise,i dont even count his ability since it wont ever matter, so they do 9,1 dmg for 210points or 10,9 chargin in koatl for 210p idoneth eels do 9.7 for 180points so for the points they are even worse than eels, one of the worst unit in the weakest tome of this eddition. i started doing numbers on saurus because they are the best unit once buffed to me.
