How popular do you think Gutbusters are currently despite their 'no battletome' handicap? I see them played online more than I expected but not overwhelmingly much either.

With what you'd have? No. After you get all that, add Skyre units or large blocks of 40 man Clanrat units.

A good choice. And a good price I'd take it. With this you can expand with the upcoming Skyre set and go Skyre themed. The Stormvermin are awesome for a more generic route too. So yeah can't go wrong with this.

Has anyone ever tried this range of miniatures? https://www.windmaster-miniatures.com/clan-raitz/ They're clearly lesser quality compared to GW but seem very good to fill out ranks of large units.

I don't mind if the models aren't updated all yet. Just entering the clans into a battletome adds popularity and validity to em. And it might crash them more omnipresently into the fluff/lore of AOS. Not really interested in the Flesheater Courts half atm though. Only just finished my Gutbuster army and only just started my military Skaven so Skyre is not 'that' crucial for me. On the other hand it's good for the fans of that popular Clan and the set adds some visibility to the faction which is good.

How do you guys usually move your 40 Skaven units? 4 ranks deep? More? What would be an optimal depth on average for unit bases?

I wouldn't mind waiting even a year or 2-3. I'm new to Skaven anyway. Though I do hope they release some Grand Alliance like books to update factions like Skaven and Gutbusters a bit.

Well Pestilence and Moulder could easily go their own route with the grotesqueness of either side. So easily expandable. While the techies and Mors could be more or less unified to depict a more generic Skavenforce. While leaderchoice, batallions and some other nicknacks would allow one to still make something part of either Clan. Still a single tome would mean it's more likely to be updated.

Greetings. I am a new Skaven player and picked up 80 secondhand clanrats and a warlord. All square bases though. What is the reigning opinieonderzoek here on mixing basesizes, going pure circular or pure square for Skaven. Currently I am hoping to build towards a Headtaker themed force. So Clan Mors. I love Stormvermin so plan to field 40 to emulate Headtakers Red Guard. What do you guys think about fielding more Stormvermin than that?
