  1. I just did a greenstuff "double your troggs project". I've never worked with blue/greenstuff before and they look almost picture perfect after watching a few videos on general materials use. I'd really recommend it, if you're doing what I did you can make molds of the original parts, cast copies, then customize those copies before they fully cure for infinite legs and gut mutations/scars. I made a unit of thicker and longer legged snow trolls and a unit of more ordinary mossy trolls. I'll get pictures once both units are done and partially painted.
  2. Anybody know if the light of the bad moon effects allies if they have the proper keyword? Looks like our sloggoth and mire-brute might get super-regeneration?
  3. The two likely exceptions for that feeling are: if you plan on using them in a grundstock escort wing for shooting/screening exclusively, or if you plan on running Barak Zon, which he is doing. Nothing stopping you from doing both, but I'm still not totally convinced of their usefulness even under those circumstances (although I do like the idea of spear and speargun wielding balloon dwarfs). On an unrelated note: this is my first post, and first army, so since I haven't played any games, it’s all theory hammer. These are the only two models I have painted so far, but plan on finishing Aether War and 2 SCs. Let me know if there is anything else you would do or clean up since I haven't painted much before. I'm also wondering if anybody has considered running the ultimate surprise/fun build of 5 endrinmasters in an ironclad with the ram endrinwork and a skyhook, with rigger escort, and healing nearly to full every turn while smashing stuff with dangling hammers from the side of the boat.
  4. In the designers commentary they say the shields have no rules. This is either a mistake (most likely) or a small leak indicating a wanderers review, hopefully of the same scale as beasts of chaos (much less likely, but historically beastmen and wood elves were pitched as antagonists, so it isn't bonkers.) Also unlikely is a review of all shielded units that have them optionally for no disadvantage, as that's a lot of work for minutiae. I'm wondering if similar unexpected small adjustments were given to beastmen before the tome dropped. Am I a conspiracy theorist?
