My bet is that we see Dawnbringers 3 and associated models, and Old World gets announced proper (with books, boxes, etc.).
I don't think we'll see any FEC. Those are going to be part of the Dawnbringer finale.
My assumption is that this Warcry pack will be the new Gorger warscroll and the old one will be phased out. For the love of all I never want to see that hideous ancient Gorger model ever again.
I feel like they could have just released a box with a thin metal metallic sheet on the bottom and it would have been 10x better than this high-falutin iron maiden.
Three things from 40k that I hope get ported over:
1) Engagement range of fighting in two ranks. GET RID OF WEAPON RANGES.
2) Battleshock causing units to be unable to capture objectives rather than removing models.
3) Normalize a better curve for Bravery stats. Having a range of 4-7 is much easier to balance than what we have now (4-10+)
Man, that's f****d up. The first AoS product in ages that I actually want and I can't even get it without buying it direct at GWorkshop's inflated MSRP.
The problem is that there's no motion being conveyed in the body language. So it just looks like she's standing there, having a nice chat instead of charging headlong into the fray.
Can someone explain how Trugg's army is supposed to work? The article is annoyingly vague. It's a Regiment of Renown, so can you not take it with a Gitz army like the other Regiments we've had? If so that would absolutely suck, his whole gimmick works around sharing his magic buffs. He doesn't seem that great just by himself.
So you're telling me they hid a major Dwarf narrative shift inside of an issue of White Dwarf? I know the magazine is named after him, but almost no one is going to be aware of this. Sounds like an event that should have been in a Dawnbringer book.
The Pontifex is exactly like Skragrott when their latest book released. She's going to be taken in every single list until she gets bumped up to around 240--and even then, she'll probably be in most lists because her utility is bonkers. Her unlimited wizard nuke is stupid, bad NPE by the way.
And if we're going to talk about under costed Cities units...that Alchemist Warforger is at least 50 points too cheap for having a free mystic shield every turn and one of the best prayers in the game.
Those people are crazy. Duardin are quite strong. Ironbreakers are a 150 point unit with a 3+ save and free 4+ ward on the enemy turn. Try breaking through a wall of 20-30 of those dudes. Their only weakness is mortals outside of the combat phase. But that's almost literally every unit's weakness in this game.
I saw some of the leaked warscrolls, and WHY are they once again writing these racist abilities that only affect specific KEYWORDED species? Why can't everyone just work together?
Cities of Sigmar is the melting pot of AoS, and they continue to segregate the army into racial subsections.
