Soulblight Gravelords News, Rumours and Speculation
Mosquito onthe TenthFloor replied to Neil Arthur Hotep's topic in Death
Thanks both! Just need to see the scale of the newer models now, as I got burned with gigantic chaos knights that look ot of whack with my old ones, so cautious about the Blood Knights being the same. Def on that book though! -
Soulblight Gravelords News, Rumours and Speculation

Whats the speculation on release date? I'm a long term undead fan and highly likely to buy this book and actually play some AOS accordingly. -

AoS 2 - Flesh-eater Courts Discussion
Mosquito onthe TenthFloor replied to RuneBrush's topic in Death
My throne is in the bathroom. Well, previously, they were encamped there but driven off by an opposing force. The king, unhappy as the loss of his throne, has decreed that they must push forward and reclaim this for glory when it is in the midst of an enemy army. Done. -
AoS 2 - Flesh-eater Courts Discussion
Mosquito onthe TenthFloor replied to RuneBrush's topic in Death
I'm fairly happy, as I spent the weekend digging up my old ghoul collection, glued up some of the recent GW plastic ones to add to them and will be painting everything this week............then read a new book is on its way. Perfect timing. I reckon, once I've done the bigger beasts next week, the full project will be done in a fortnight Don't like that throne much though. Its too ordered, clean and designed for how I see my lot. I know its supposed to be a throne, but it doesn't have to be a literal one. I'd just make one from a big pile of rotting bones thats been sat in. -

Tiers used to be the WFB way of expressing this. -

Good idea and a very handy resource. Any clarification on Blades of Khorne? It seems like it’s a 1.0 older book? -

Events UK: Bad Moon Cafe : War in the Mortal Realms
Mosquito onthe TenthFloor replied to hughwyeth's topic in Events
Maybe not the best place for this, but it seems to be the only Bad Moon Cafe thread I can find - anyone know if anyone may run a narrative event there at some point? I'm not much of a tournament person, but a narrative led event would be a draw. Cheers -
The Hunter and the Sorcerer (Updated)
Mosquito onthe TenthFloor commented on Lord Ashmodath's blog entry in The Silent Cliffs
That seems pretty sound - although which zombies? Add moss, lichen and greenery draped on them and it’d fit with Hunter and Sorcerer too, so they look of a part. I’ve got some micro greenery which would work, as I’m making a green knight later in the year - have a look for the mininatur materials and see if they fit for you. -
The Hunter and the Sorcerer (Updated)

Tackle the conversions or the painting? To me, these look very dank and damp, as though straight from the fens.......so maybe dryads along something like that? Perhaps spirits that have dredged the waters to find suitable materials for them to form into a dryad nature? After all, many things of many types may have fallen or been sacrificed in those waters over the years..... -

Fantastic - look like they clambered straight out of a bog Whats the main frame of the body? Dryads? (or whatever they are called now) -

Age of Sigmar RPG
Mosquito onthe TenthFloor replied to Emmetation's topic in Age of Sigmar Discussions
Funnily enough, I was just wondering if this would ever be a thing and dismissed it! Haha I’d probably be getting a copy, but would prefer it focussed more on ordinary types rather than the big name characters who appear in and drive much of the current narrative fiction. Would probably include Stormcast in that as well - give or take that opinion - as the more common folk moving through the realms and it’s threats is the sweet spot for me rather than Demi gods in armour. also - getting the AOS28 bunch involved could be a good move -
I Hobbied Every Day for 2018
Mosquito onthe TenthFloor commented on Fairbanks's blog entry in Certified Hobby Hero
Great write up. I had something myself, although it wasn’t as strict as “every day” but a “will try and do something hobby related every day, if I can” - which I included as essentially anything, from painting to playing to writing a scenario. I didn’t include “buying things” in there though Number 7 sounds mighty familiar Having now got into the habit, I’m keeping on with my approach! -
I'm planning on using the Otherworld Centaurs as the base for the conversions. Backup would be the wood elf wild riders. Bit too active in the posing though.
