At this point I'm pretty sure psychic awakening is the malign portents of 40k. A constant drip feed of lore leading up to a new edition.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. Although I don’t mind it that much right now because Orks are my 40k army. Sooon Ghazghkull...

I have consulted the stars, read the tea leaves, looked into the crystal ball and concluded lizards are coming tonight.

(Disclaimer: it was completely overcast so saw no stars, used a tea bag so there were no leaves and I don't have a crystal ball so used a magic 8 ball. It said - try again later.)

You posted this on the internet so I believe you.

  3. Conjuration Points is correct as above. Also note that a lonely Astrolith Bearer generate D3 points even if your Slann general dies. The summoning point is measured from either the Slann general or the Astrolith Bearer, so if your Slann general dies and you still have your Astrolith Bearer you can still summon using your remaining points.

Strange! Besides, it says "temporary"... Also we've already seen the old Slann in the terrain preview and saurus in warcry.

    It's repackaging a possibility?

Looking at the EU site (Finnish version) Stegadon, Bastiladon, and the Saurus Warriors are the only plastic kits that are temporarily out of stock. Of those only the Stegadon was repacked previously, iirc. The rest of the out of stock items are finecast. I doubt those are getting a repacking, and I'm willing to believe that their stock was low before and this is a sign that people are buying units before the BT arrives.

can't you use them in the skirmish mode anyway?  they have tabletop stats.

my only gripe with AOS skirmish is the updated rules are in a White Dwarf I can't find for a reasonable price, and no idea if they updated their ePub rules to be in line with that mag

Now that you mention it, it's been fully 13 hours since we last heard anything from GW about these pointy elves. That's kind of a suspicious silence, isn't it? Feels like they're trying to downplay their importance... I dunno guys, can't prove anything but feels like they might be about to squat pointy elves.

Yeah, looks like the Pointy Elves were squatted, instead we got these fancy "Lumineth Realm-lords"...not happy about this development!
