Aos 2 - Lumineth Realm-Lords Discussion
Jefferson Skarsnik replied to HollowHills's topic in Lumineth Realm-Lords
I just got a dispatch confirmation from Dark Sphere re an order of paints I had snuck a cheaky Lumineth hero into as a test model for a possible army, only to find that I have in fact accidentally ordered two Scinari Loreseekers I am not the first here to suffer this fate, but I hope I am the last -

Element said they had a good amount of stock but its all gone now. They did say it wasn't clear if there would be more stock but I think there's just a lack of clarity from GW about this at the moment so you're going to get differing info floating around Dark Sphere don't seem to have put their pre-order up at all yet unless it just went in a flash, as there's no product listing for it yet that I can see. It won't be around long if they have 30-50 copies though obviously -

Doing the business with Element Games. All good, though I can see the local place has sold out of its allocation already -

Have we only officially seen 2/8 objective markers to this point? Keycritter and helpful skeleton I had started to assume they were multiples of the same -
Eltharion put Arkhan over clean as a sheet in the middle of the ring at End Times 2015. I guarantee Arkhan has enough respect for this business and the boys in the back that he was damn sure gonna return the favours if Eltharion could still go Now in terms of a rubber match you almost definitely gotta blow this thing off with some kind of a gimmick, now whether that's a steel cage or something more ah hang on I've posted this on the wrong website sorry

Lumineth Assemble! (photos & lore)

https://www.instagram.com/p/CCdMKwUoCSm/ Noted High Elf/Lumineth/yellow Instagram user Aelves_United_Nations has a kind of inverted version of your scheme where he has light green robes and blue gems, so yes maybe doing the gems green would tie it together well Also which brand of (non-tuft) grass did you use on your bases? They look good -

There are sadly now reports of people out there developing full-blown Stage IV Lumineth Derangement Syndrome. Just wandering into random shops and dwellings ranting about "aelves" being "pansies" until asked to leave. When the end comes they can't even have an open casket at the funeral because their face has permanently contorted into the "confused" react -

All stomping round saying "I was the real Phoenix King, you know" like he's Al Bundy going on about scoring four touchdowns in a single game at Polk High, everyone making him even angrier by blankly saying "I don't know what that is" -

The robe looks like screamer pink layered with pink horror, or possibly just something like kislev flesh mixed into the base tone Celestra and Ulthuan grey on the inner robes, maybe temple guard and baharroth blue on the teal bits -

I wasn't sure if that guy was supposed to represent the noble character's three cousins who disgraced themselves by willingly accepting the blood kiss, but they are now naked and feral with only the shoulderplate from the armour intact on one of them -

Yeah the 2020-21 AOS releases, possibly undermined by pricing and the inability to play in-person matches, haven't really inspired me to put my hand in my pocket, but a self-contained Warhammer Quest packed with grimdark weirdo models is just a direct hit on my wallet, can't wait The new guy has a bit more of dishevelled, pirate-y Luther Harkon vibe than the sort of Dark Souls 3 Deacons of the Deep/undead priest look the map sketch brought to mind, still into it tho -

If you had a Lumineth in Ulfenkarn it'd have to be a grizzled, Aenur The Sword of Twilight type one. A guy who's seen some **** They've probably got enough elves on tap though tbh -

I think the amount of people that would just sigh and nope out straight away if it turned out to be Epic scale would be prohibitive. It also doesn't really suit GW's current marketing model if the new mini they have to hype is a plastic block of tiny infantry with little detail, unless I'm underestimating what they could do technically now -

Haha, it's true, but I guess it also shows how much of a difference the final stages of adding pure white edge/dot highlights and glazing with yellow ink make The full link is here for anyone looking to draw their own **** owl http://razzaminipainting.blogspot.com/2016/07/non-metallic-metals.html?m=1 -

For anyone else wondering, BloodBowl Reddit says local game store lists are saying the new season box will release 27th Nov, £85, €105, US$140. Not sure if that's RRP, but not bad at all I don't think, given the star players and big guys being included -

Tyrion personally forged all of his troops' weapons while he still couldn't see and nobody had the heart to tell him they weren't achingly beautiful runeswords All bellowing "BRING ME SUNFANG" while a long-suffering aide winces and hands him a baseball bat with a nail through it -

I've had £60 (~$80) store credit at the local board game café which I accumulated during lockdown, so I'm hoping that will take the edge off the price for me however much it is, though given the extra stuff in the box this time out I won't be too surprised if it ends up being such a drink-spitting price point I end up bailing out. If it's the same as Catacombs they'll probably charge 110 in GBP, which, enh, OK. I haven't played tabletop BB since the 90s, contenting myself with squashing the lame AI of the PC game for an occasional fix, but there are a lot of minis I feel like painting in that new box. If I already had a previous set with human and orc teams I'd be in the same boat as you definitely
