  1. He currently has an LoC and a tzangoor shaman on disk and a curseling , and he's planing on buying some more wizards to get some battalion to get more spells and so on. The army is mostly tzangoors and they hit way to hard, they have like 4-5 attacks each with an +3+2~ when they are near an acolyte hero and yadayada, they seem really strong for the price and points? Currently in our group of about 9 people he have only lost 1 game, and that was before he got the LoC. The only one who has a chance is me with my GHoN death army, even then all the spells and attacks really hurt, and theres almost no way to get to his wizards, he just turtle them up behind his 30 tzangoors and acolytes... Oh, and how is summoning a new unit of 3 tzangoors enlighted on disk or skyfires bad? That's 12wounds and a lot of attacks you could get to summon in at round 2/3
  2. Ok, so i have some questions: Morghast Harbingers/Archai = Yay, nay or meh ? Do you think "Endless Legion" and all out healing/ress is to strong? Just totaly crushed 3 matches yesterday, with the gravesites, Necromancer, vampire lord's, Legions Innumerable passive, "Master of Death command trait" and all other Deathly Invocation i would have, my unit with 30-40 chainrasps will never die, i just make a wall with them and attack over them with 2" attacks. A Beastclaw player did about 20+ damage against them, and after Deathless Minions 17 "died", big woop, my turn: d3 ress there, and a d3 ress there and take some more d3 ress from me oh and from him, don't forget the gravesites, and oh you're an 1 wound unit here take some more from Legions Innumerable, oh and did i say that i can reroll 1's when using Deathly Invocation? Oh no you "killed" my unit with 10 Grimghasts, wolololo: (Endless Legion) They're back just like that! Sorry to rant, but i couldn't stop feeling bad when i totaly crushed them yesterday, even i think that LoN is, well not broken but close to. On the other hand, what are you gonna do against a Tzeench player that has +10 spells/turn and can summon in units for 10 faith points?! One of my friends owns a Lord of Change and some other wizards with an battalion gives them 1 more spell each! I'm really scared . . .
  3. So, how do you stop an opponent who can cast +10 spells/turn with his army, and summon in units with 10 faith points? Almost seems impossible
  4. I need help! I just got my ass kicked again against an tzeentch player... We're playing 1500~p games He has a lord of change, 30 acolytes, 30 tzangoors, 1 shaman on disk, 3 skyfires, 3 tzangoors enlightened on disk. His lord of change is the main problem, the infernal gateway and bolt of tzeentch really hurts, and I have no ress/heal except for RotSH because he can just unbind all my spells with his mastery of magic.. I've tried to play nighthaunts and GHoN against it, but if he gets a dubble turn its really GG. At 1500 currently I lack meatshields and I end up taking to many heroes or units I don't really want to use just to come close the 1500p at this time. What I have to use atm. Knight of shrouds on ethereal steed 2x GoS Lady Olynder Spirit torment Lord executioner Coven throne - ally 10x grimghasts (to few I know) 30x chain rasps 10x hexwraiths 6x spirit hosts 8x myrmourn banshee (1 necromancer, 1vampire lord, 10 skeletons) Any tips on what to buy? Or any combos or such I think my army isn't optimal at all for 1500p, I almost always win in 1000-1200p games tho Thanks a lot for answers!

  12. Just at first glance i would say, don't put Olynder against him in a 1000p game haha But both setups would work, all those spirit hosts and with the traits Ruler of the spirit hosts will be hard to fight trough haha!

  14. Hello and welcome! All questions are welcomed here! In my opinion Lady Olynder is a really great pick point for point value, 2" range with her staff, 2 spells, 1d6 damage ability/round + 1d6 heal or damage once per game, 1d3 damage bravery aura/wave, and her uniqe spell is really good if you combo it with Shademist giving your opponent -2 to hit your grims for example. *Protect the queen!* Now, she is a really good pick in a Nighthaunt army, but sadly if you're gonna run a LoN there's better options. First of, only the heroes from the soulwars box can be added in a LoN army without beeing an ally, so if you want Olynder, or Craven King or any other nighthaunt hero you'll need to ally them in, and i don't know what rules you use when playing a 1500p game, me and my friends now go by the 2000p rules when we play 1500p games. I started by getting an "Start collecting Malignant's" and i love the hexwraiths, i have a unit of 10, fast speed, fly, etheral, frightful touch, rend, 2wounds. And the mortis egine is (in my opinion) really ****** great in a GHoN army, only 180p giving your spellcasters +1 to cast spells and just being an annoying with its high wound, great mobility and Wail of the damned. Or you can play it as an Coven throne, but it's 260p. Spirithosts on the other hand is... ok? If you only got 3 it's not worth it, but a unit of 6 might be, 36 attacks, mortal wounds on 6, hit on +5, wound on +4 no rend 1 = avrage damage 8~ (depending on target units save) if you can attack with all 6 on the same target, 120p for 3, not the best not the worst. I don't own Arkhan (yet) but from what i've seen and heared, he's really good to have in a LoN with wizards and skelle bros, knowing all death wizard spells within 18" and his command ability to extend spells so he's never in the danger zone himself, and ofcourse the Curse of the years spell with the fixed FAQ is really strong "if you are lucky". I'm a noob myself so don't lissen to much on what i have to say, but i really really love this game and already spent way more time than i should reading, playing and watching about it. Hope something in this wall of text helped! Also, as always sorry for my English, it's my third language. And don't forget, whatever you choose (aslong as it's death) Papa Nagash will be proud!
  15. Don't wanna sound rude, but are you really sure? Other summon spells says that it's added to the army. But this spell is worded like an Endless spell aka " you can set up a "blank" within/wholly within the caster/unit. But Endless spells costs point to have in your army. And ChaosSpawns have a point value of 50 for each model
  16. Hello everyone! Don't mind a fellow Nagash player just strolling in I have a couple questions about disciples ofTzeentch 1. Kairos Fateweaver is a named character, right? And can't take relics or command traits BUT Lord of change is not? 2. Spell: Gift of change: Gift of Change has a casting value of 8. If successfully cast, pick a visible enemy unit within 18" of the caster. That unit suffers a number of mortal wounds as shown in the damage table. If any models were slain by this spell, you can set up a ChaosSpawn under your control within 3" of that unit. My question is that it dosen't say "The unit is added to your army" which other summon abilities says. Does this mean that you'll need to have those ChaosSpawns already on your army's point value before the start of the game? (Just like endless spells) My friends seems to think he could spawn in an infinite amount of them for free.

Yeah it would really been a good combo, that's why people are playing LoN with 30 grimghasts + necro In our battle tome you'll find almost everything you'll need, don't forget to read the FAQ, errata. Also 1d4 Chan has almost everything but some of the rules there hasn't been worded correctly or changed in a good while. Oh, and always use the Age of sigmar warscroll app, to know changes to warscrolls, it updates regularly. DON'T trust battlescribe, not even for point value for units, me and my friend found lots that hadn't been changed on it. Hope you'll like our wiggly ghost bois And all praise papa nagash 🖤💜🖤💜

  19. Sadly we can't ally in Necromancer since deathmages aren't allies for Nighthaunts, same with mortis engine. If the vampire is Soulblight then yes we can ally in it and as long as the spell/ ability you want to use targets "friendly death" units, and not deathrattle/vampires it would work just fine.
  20. I've tried to have them in my list but it's 4 for 60p, or 8 for 120p.. Would rather take a unit of grims or spirit hosts. Glaives have no rend, bad speed, +4 +3, 1d. Grims are clearly much better in every way, with only 20p more for a unit of 10 Glaives just die and isn't worth a GoS spell to bring back
  21. The only problem for Coven throne, Mortis Engine, and so on, is that the "throne" isn't a mount on the warscroll, and therefor a part of the heroes attack. Haven't been fixed in an errat'a or FAQ yet. Has been alot of arguing in tournaments about this.

Sadly the relic/trait still dosen't change the +6 to a +5 for frightful touch, it only makes it easier to hit/wound with the weapon, it dosen't effect frightful touch, since it's an ability on its own. AND no, if you would roll a +4 you would hit, then if you would roll a +6 on to wound it would NOT make a mortal wound since the frightful touch ability clearly states: Each time you make a hit roll of 6+ or more for the Spectral hosts Ethereal weapons, that attack inflict 1 mortal wound. Only on hit rolls, not wound rolls
  23. Old frightfull touch: Frightful Touch: Each time you make a hit roll of 6+ or more for the Spectral hosts Ethereal weapons, that attack inflict 1 mortal wound instead of the normal damage. (So the attack ends, don't make a save or wound roll) New frightful Touch: If the unmodified hit roll for an attack made with Spectral hosts Etheral weapons is a 6, that attack inflicts 1 mortal wound and the attack sequence ends. ( Do not make a wound or save roll) Either way your trait or relic dosen't drag down the Frightful touch ability for the weapon lower, since it's an effect on its own. It only gives the attack +1 to hit/wound it dosen't effect Frightful Touch. And would you roll a 6, it does 1 mortal damage and that's it, you don't roll for wound with that attack, the attack sequence ends.

  25. But the spectral hosts etheral weapons on Coven Throne only does mortal wounds on a 6+, giving it a relic or a trait dosen't change the number to +5
